Hacienda Azul is the perfect home for a true Mexican getaway. Even before you step through the front gates you will see that no detail has been overlooked.
Standing in the front courtyard you can hear the water trickling over the edge of the fountain, which upon a closer look somehow appears to be floating atop of the water in the pond. The striking contrast of the black iron against the blue and white paint, only highlights the turns and details embellishing all the iron work.
Once inside the home, surrounded by it's vivid colors you can see the eclectic mix of old and new. Furnished with traditional Mexican rustic furniture, the elegant dining room, crowned with it's wrought iron chandelier, has seating for 8.
Step down into the living room and you will find all the modern conveniences. A big screen TV, cable, channels such as HBO, DVD player, a docking station for your iPod, and wireless internet.
In the kitchen with it's deep cobalt blue talavera tiles you will find it well stocked with everything that you need to prepare your meals at home. There is a Whirlpool gas stove, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, garberator and cold water dispenser.
Upstairs the bedrooms are furnished with rustic Mexican furniture, and comfortable Sealy mattresses. Two of the bedrooms have balconies overlooking the pool, one with a king size bed, the other with a queen. Both bedrooms have their own bathrooms with a shower and have been decorated with hand painted talavera tiles and sinks. The third bedroom has a balcony overlooking the front of the house, and has a queen size bed. It's bathroom comes with a soaker tub. On the main floor you will find the 4th bedroom which has a queen size bed. There is a back door in this bedroom that walks right out onto the grass around the pool.
In the backyard there is a large swimming pool with plenty of room to lie around and soak up the sun. After your swim, relax on the patio and enjoy a lunch cooked on the gas grill.
Hacienda Azul is centrally located and is within walking distance to most amenities. The grocery store is 2 blocks away, and the main plaza, where most of the islands shops and restaurants are located, is just 7 blocks straight down the street. It is not necessary to rent a car as there is a taxi dispatch stand half a block away and most taxi rides within town are only $2 - 4 dollars each way. If you do decide to rent a car, there is secured parking for your vehicle at the property, Throughout the home you will find both ceiling fans and air conditioning in every room. Daily maid service is provided for you every day, except for Sundays and Mexican holidays. Hacienda Azul has everything that you need for a perfect vacation, whether it is a romantic getaway, or a holiday with the kids.

My family and I just returned from our vacation in Cozumel and our stay at Hacienda Azul. We couldn't have picked a better place for our stay than Leslie's beautiful home. Our family of 8 included a 3 year old, two teenagers 18 and 19, a 22 year old and 4 adults and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their stay. We rented the home as a 4 bedroom and there was plenty of room for all. Leslie's home (and it truly is a home) was new, spacious, tastefully decorated with high end furnishings, appliances and linens. It was very clean, with excellent maid service, well maintained and very secure. Everyone commented on how comfortable the beds were. The whole house and particularly the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The backyard was spacious, with beautiful gardens and a large swimming pool that we spent lots of time in. We used the barbeque on several occasions to grill smokies and hot dogs for lunch. Hacienda Azul is centrally located in a quiet neighborhood. Although we rented cars to tour the beautiful island of Cozumel, we walked to restaurants (which were great), shops and downtown. One family member went jogging in the mornings and found the neighborhood to be very friendly and safe. Leslie and her management staff in Cozumel were very helpful and accommodating right from the planning stages of our vacation through our departure. We were not disappointed at all and actually everything about Hacienda Azul exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend this property for a true Mexican getaway and memorable vacation. We look forward to returning to Hacienda Azul next year. Thank you Leslie!

We walked into the Hacienda Azul and realized what a gem we had discovered. A well appointed home in an excellent location, a private pool in the backyard overlooked by the bedroom balconies, a delightful kitchen in which to cook, outdoor patio with gas grill to savor the food we bought at the local market and wonderful neighbors who showed us around and pointed us in the right direction for things to do. The managers were incredibly friendly and helpful. We walked everywhere and always felt safe. We never imagined that our week would be so very delightful!

Hacienda Azul is an incredible oasis for a family vacation. We spent a week there with our 3-year old son and had a great time. The house is gorgeous with generous bedrooms, beautiful bathrooms and a fully-stocked kitchen. It is very clean and well-maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed the blue-tiled pool in the private backyard. It is designed well for both adults and young children. We even swam in the evening, as the pool is lit. Hacienda Azul is in a convenient location, close to town. We enjoyed the restaurants and access to the beaches. Leslie recommended some excellent places. A week wasn’t long enough to visit everything. We would have happily stayed much longer!

Just back from another wonderful stay at Hacienda Azul with a group of friends. The property is fantastic. It is attractively decorated, kept very clean, and is fully equipped for an effortless vacation. The location is great, an easy seven blocks walk to the main square and tourist area, yet in a quiet residential neighborhood. We rented a car for most of our stay, but we also used the taxi stand that's only a half block away from the house. We spent time snorkeling, lazing at the pool in the back yard, exploring the shops and markets, and sampling the local cuisine. For those days we felt like staying in, the kitchen is fully equipped, and the gas BBQ is the fastest ever. We also checked out a number of restaurants, beaches and attractions recommended by Leslie and found them wonderful. We didn't end up using the TV or DVD collection much, but we had five computers between us and the wireless connection was excellent. I will definitely recommend Hacienda Azul, and hope to return soon.

My family and I recently enjoyed our second stay at this lovely property and everything was absolutely perfect once again. The house is lovely, well maintained and spacious. The beds are the most comfortable I've ever slept in while travelling and the house truly is a home away from home. The location is great and in a quiet, safe neighbourhood with friendly neighbours. The owner, mangement team and their staff are all top notch and they go out of their way to ensure that you have a wonderful vacation. If you are travelling to Cozumel, especially as a family or a larger group, this is the place for you.

My family had a wonderful time in Cozumel at Hacienda Azul. The house is beautiful, clean, spacious and well keep on the inside and out. All together there were 3 adults and 3 children in our group and we had more than enough room. The pool is a feature wonderful for children and I think our kids spent 75% of their time in the pool. The location of the house is amazing set in a safe residential area of Cozumel. The families all around are amazing, friendly, and helpful. It was wonderful to let my children walk down the street to look at iguanas and not worry about their saftey at all. Our 15 year old daughter walked over to the super market and convenient store after dark several times and she was confident to go alone, as was I. I can't stress enough how safe and welcoming Cozumel is in general. All around are athentic Mexican resaurants, stores, taco stands, and the main market is a 10 min walk away. The feel for the culture is truely attained by staying in Hacienda Azul. Nadine Gyug March 9th 2011

Staying at Hacienda Azul was a wonderful experience. The house is beautiful inside and out. The bedrooms are large and the beds very comfortable. Every room is tastefully decorated. Cooking meals in the kitchen was a real pleasure. We spent hours in the backyard, swimming in the pool. The location is great. It is an easy walk to the shops and restaurants along the waterfront. If you rent a car you can explore most of the island. We had some great snorkeling adventures. The next time I'm here, I'll be sure to bring my diving gear. We talked with several divers who said diving off the coast of Cozumel is fantastic. We had a wonderful time in Cozumel, and will be staying at the beautiful Hacienda Azul when we come back.

I spent a week in March 2010 at Hacienda Azul with another couple and had a wonderful time. This house is one of the finest properties I have visited in Cozumel. The house has all top of the line appliances and very comfortable beds. It has a large kitchen and dining room for in home entertaining. The large pool is kept immaculate as well as the gardens. It has off street parking with an automatic door opener. It is a short walk to the square and the waterfront. I will be staying at this property in the future and would recommend it to anyone looking for a vacation in town.
