We had a great week. The weather was wonderful and the beach and water were gorgeous. A few recommendations and/or comments for this unit would be 1) Have a list of the TV stations because there were too many to scroll through each time. 2) Need some plastic containers in the kitchen for storing leftovers and other food (we had to go out and purchase plastic dishes with tops) 3) The two cushions on the couch angled down to the middle seat so it was uncomfortable to try to sit up straight 4) The rattan chair needs a cushion 5) There were only 4 "very thin" cushions for the outside chairs 6) The head boards were not attached to the twin beds so the beds would move over the floor during the night when our girls would turnover in their beds 7) we loved the ice maker in the kitchen 8) The gounds were kept very clean and the view from this unit was spectacular!Owner response: Thank you for your suggestions and we will handle replacing items asap.

We had such an enjoyable stay at the Bluewater condo. The unit is beautifully decorated and has a fabulous view! Much nicer interior than other units we have stayed at. Everything we needed was already there. The condo is in a great location, close to beach expressway, grocery stores, shopping, etc. We had no problems with check-in and owners/assistants were eager to help. Very professional, We hope to return again soon! Thank you for a wonderful vacation!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We very much enjoyed our stay. Rooms were very nice and spacious, and we especially enjoyed the large wrap-around balcony. We only had one small issue and it was handled right away. This unit was in a very convenient location as well. We will definitely consider this unit for out future vacations.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

Our experience at your Bluewater condo was great. I found that Mihyon was easy to talk to and answered all my questions. The condo was beautifully decorated, plus it had so many extras. We especially liked the additional icemaker under the cabinet. We loved sitting out on the balcony, and taking in the view from the 14th floor. The condo was close to some fantastic eating places. We would highly recommend your condo. Hope to stay here again soon!!Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway.

Our girls loved it! nearby state park with bike/hiking trails. we did dolphin cruise too Totally awesome view from this unit, great accomodations, nice owner to deal with, only complaint is that floor looked swept clean but had a layer of dirt that stained socks in minutes- so tell the cleaning crew to mop the floorsRecommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Please note that I take every guest comment very seriously. You may recall that I contacted the cleaning service immediately after receiving your message during your stay. The floor had been cleaned. Upon further investigation, we discovered that the reason your socks were getting black is because we had previously put new tile on the floor and the subcontractor failed to seal the tile. Multiple contractors have told me that when tile is not sealed, over time this will cause black to seep through the tile. Our cleaning service has implemented the policy that for each complaint received from guests, $25 will be deducted from the inspector’s pay. Thank you for your honest comments.

We recently stayed here on October 15-18th. We would highly recommend this condo. The wrap around balcony gives you excellent views of the Gulf. The condo was adequately furnished, clean and decorated nicely. Mihyon and Frank Ellis, the owners were very pleasant and helpful. We have stayed at other condos in the area, and the rates were much better at Bluewater and the amenities were better such as parking being included in the rate!! Most of the other condos charge an additional parking fee per day. Our only complaint, and it is very minor, would be that there was no DVD player in the living room, Otherwise, we would definitely recommend this condo to our friends and family, and definitely will stay again! Great location, walking distance to supermarketRecommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had the best time at your place! We loved everything about it! The way the place is decorated is so much fun! The kids loved all of the games in the living room trunk! Cancellation policy:
Bluewater Policies and Procedures DAMAGE/KEY DEPOSIT – Credit card required for incidentals; i.e., to cover the cost to replace or repair any damages to unit and its contents (beyond normal wear and tear), cost to replace missing items, cost for excessive cleaning (sand in the unit will incur deep cleaning fee) and cost to replace missing keys will be charged on the credit card on file. Key charge is $25 per key plus the cost of locksmith service call. • Re-arranging of furniture is prohibited. All furnishings and accessories must be in their original position. Re-arranged furniture will be charged for laborer time. • All debris, rubbish and discards must be placed in dumpster, and soiled dishes are placed in the dishwasher and turned on. • Doors must be locked and keys turned in at the office or in drop box ($25 per key plus service call for unreturned keys). • Please leave parking pass(s) in the black drop box hanging on the inside of the front door. • All charges accrued during the stay must be paid prior to departure. • Additional charge will be assessed for lost or damaged linens, including non-removable stains. • NO early check-in or late checkout. • Loud noises, loud music, wild parties and inappropriate language and conduct are prohibited. Continued violation of these regulations is cause for eviction without refund. • Possession and/or use of illegal substance on premises is cause for IMMEDIATE EVICTION without refund. Payment: • 50% due at booking. • Remaining balance due 15 days prior to check in. • Payment Options: We do not accept PayPal or Debit Cards. • No fee to pay by check, money order, cashier’s check (Payable to Frank Ellis, 8900 Toler Lane #B102, Foley, AL 36535). In the event the check in returned for NSF, there will be a $50 fee assessed, which will be charged on the credit card on file, plus the applicable credit card fee. • No fee to pay on line via direct debit from bank account (I would need to send you the link) • Pay by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover or Diners Card) - 2.5% of total (3% for American Express) Credit card charge will appear as Frank Ellis. If you cancel the charge for any reason, our Merchant Services will charge a substantial backcharge fee, which will be your responsibility. Cancellations and Changes: CANCELLATIONS - A sixty (60) day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date will incur no penalty. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made less than sixty 60 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full advance payment and reservation deposit. Cancellation within thirty (30) days of arrival date or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent. Check in Procedures: During regular business hours (Tuesdays – Fridays, 9am-5:30pm; Saturdays 9am – 2pm), please check in at our office at 8900 Toler Lane, Unit B102, Foley, AL 36535 (Foley Beach Express & CR 12). If checking in after hours and weekends, please call 251.421.1965 to make alternative arrangements. Check out Procedures: Check out time is by 11:00 am. No late check outs please, as we need time to clean unit for next guest. Please follow these procedures upon checking out of your condo: • Please do not strip or make the beds. • Please wash the towels and start them in the dryer. You DO NOT need to wait for them to dry. • Dispose of all garbage in the trash shoots located on the east and west ends of the 14th floor. • Clean all dishes and return them to their designated cabinets and/or drawers. • Leave drapes partially open and set A/C to 77°F or heat to 60°F • Lock front door and return keys to lock box. $25 per key plus locksmith service charge for missing keys. Hurricane / Tropical Storms: Our cancellation policy does not provide refunds for unforeseen developments, such as illness, mandatory hurricane evacuations or similar events that can affect your stay. If during your stay our property becomes a threat, we reserve the right to issue a mandatory evacuation even prior to evacuation notice issued by our city or county officials. Room Assignments: You are renting a privately owned condo residence. Please be considerate of the belongings of the owners and to the people who will be renting this residence after you. Please do not rearrange the furniture or accessories or take any items outside that are part of the interior décor. Please do not move any furnishings or kitchen items outside of its residence. Since the premises are privately owned, neither Bluewater Condominiums nor the owner shall be responsible for any additional furnishings not presently in the property. Renter is responsible to the owner of the residence for any damages to the premises, furnishings, household items and equipments excluding the normal wear and tear. Locked closets are maintained by the homeowners for personal use. Please respect these areas. Smoking: Our unit is NON-SMOKING! Smoking is permitted outdoors and butts must be disposed of properly. If you do smoke in our unit, you will be assessed additional fee of $300 - $600 (deep cleaning and odor elimination fee). Repairs: Our staff is here to make sure your vacation home is in the best condition that it can be. If you should discover otherwise, please report it to us immediately and we will correct it as quickly and smoothly as possible. However, no refunds will be given for appliance failure or other circumstances beyond our control. Please do not wait until your departure time to inform us about problems, as we no longer have the opportunity to rectify the situation. At times, we must wait for parts or service. Please bear with us during these times. Authorized employees or repairmen may enter the premises during normal business hours for any purpose pertaining to repair, improvement, care and management of the premises. We will try to notify you, if at all possible, in as far advance as possible of any entry. After Hours Emergencies: Our office hours are 9:00 to 5:30 Tuesday through Friday and Saturday 9:00 to 2:00. Security is on duty 24hrs a day for EMERGENCIES. Non-Emergencies will be logged and handled the following business day during office hours. The number to call is 251.943-4265 or call 911. Parking: Parking passes can be purchased at the Bluewater Security Office ($20 per parking pass per stay). Long Distance Calls: There is a long distance block on all residence phones. You will need a calling card to make a long distant call from the residence. Local calls and 800 calls are free. Please refer to the telephone directory in your residence for local numbers. Grilling: Management prohibits charcoal or open fire grilling or under decks, balconies or porches and within (10) feet of any structure. There are designated grill sites available for your use. Lost and Found: The Property Owner is not responsible or liable for any personal items that are left behind. We have a “Lost and Found” department. Items that are recovered may be shipped to their rightful owner, at owner’s expense. Please call 251.943.4265 to recover items left behind. Maximum Occupancy: The total number of occupants allowed in the unit at any time is restricted to 8 people. Eviction without refund is the penalty! We are very serious about maintaining a family atmosphere for the quiet enjoyment of all our guests. We will rent to family groups and responsible adults only. Adults less than 30 years of age will not be permitted to check in. Reservations made under false pretense will be subject to immediate eviction and forfeiture of full payment. Identification is required upon check in to verify age. Student groups, house parties or gatherings in excess of maximum occupancy will not be tolerated. All accommodations are governed by appropriate “Alabama Laws” pertaining to the “Alabama Landlord and Tenant Act” and the “Rules and Regulations” that are applicable to said premises. Occupancy of common areas shall be quiet and peaceful so as not to disturb other guests. Pets: Condominium regulations do not allow pets for rental guests. Violators will be fined $500. Please help us conserve energy … turn lights off and turn AC up (heat down in the winter) when you are not in the unit. During inclement weather, please bring all cushions in from the balcony. DO NOT FLUSH ANYTHING DOWN THE TOILETS, EXCEPT TOILET PAPER. IF A CALL TO THE PLUMBER IS NECESSARY AND WE FIND FOREIGN OBJECTS, YOU WILL BE BILLED FOR THE SERVICE CALL. THANK YOU!
