Activities (on site or nearby): A short walk to North Beach, a lot quieter than Hampton Beach and without the traffic and congestion! The beach is quite long, great for walking or just hanging out and playing in the sand and waves. This beach is popular with families or take a 10 min walk to Main Beach or you can take a short 3/4 mile ride south to Hampton Beach - and enjoy the arcades, bars and restaurants, and live entertainment at the Shell stage. There are plenty of non-beach activities - a huge water park just up Route 1; visit Portsmouth with wonderful shops and historical sites, as well as a children's museum; take a boat to the Isle of Shoals; shop at the outlets; or visit one of the many nearby state parks - to name a few.
