Highly recommended, executive home. Surrounding area is beautiful and the view......

The home and view are perfect. Pictures do not do it justice. Executive home with all the amenities. The owners have gone out of their way on this one. Great location and easy to get to. You won't be disappointed and you may never want to leave. You can take off in any direction and find new and interesting things to see and do. There is a beautiful golf course you will see as you drive up to the home. Also a marina right around the corner. Lots of things to do and too much to write but here are some things we did. Whitewater rafting on the Ocoee is a must do. Packed with fun and excitement from the beginning, you won't be disappointed. Plenty of rafting companies out there. We prefer NOC, they are very experienced and their guides are always great with colorful names. Go to Franklin and walk the town. Very quaint with gardens and flowers everywhere. Then run up to Highlands and Cashiers, see the waterfalls along the way. Highlands is a great town in the mountains, you'll fall in love with this area. For another day trip, take a drive up to Cherokee and take in a little native american history. Learn some native american traditions and see the craftmanship of their soap stone and wood carvings, basketry, pottery, painting and other crafts. There is also a new casino being built there, not completed yet but very nice/upscale for those of you who like to gamble. Go over to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge from there. Too much to see and do. Don't forget Dollywood in Pigeon Forge. The story of Dolly Parton is very interesting and it is well worth going just to see her museum and learn her life story. The "Tail of the Dragon" starts in Robbinsville. An 11 mile drive with 318 turns. Let me tell you, any drive in the mountains and the scenery is beautiful and we honestly wore out our tires on this trip and had to buy new ones. You won't be disappointed. Don't miss Fontana Dam when you are up this way and Fontana Village. Interesting story on how the dam was built. Go to the marina also, I know of two movies that have been filmed there but I think there have been more. Lake Fontana is beautiful. Don't forget to head down to Georgia. You have to go to Helen, a really cute Bavarian themed town. Lot's of German food and Beer. You'll spend some time here, a beautiful place. Head down to Dahlonega from here. First major gold rush town in the United States. See the old courthouse/museum and walk the town square. Go to the Consolidated Gold Mine and tour the mine.

Absolutely incredible...the view, the home, the amenities, the surrounding communities, ie:restaurants, boat, seadoo, and other toy rentals...great golf ...best horse back riding we have ever done...and none of the touristy do dads being hawked on every corner that, at least for me, can spoil the pleasure of my vacation...Jessica and I can hardly wait to get back!!! Feel free to e-mail me as I can not do the justice here that I would like to! Oh ya...the river rafting, nature walks,lake...we are going to find it hard to rent a hotel again! John & Jessica Weaver

We stayed at the "Crow's Nest" for two months. It is a beautiful home with the most beautiful view one could ever hope to have. The accommodations are "top notch". It is wonderful to watch the deer, sunrise, mountains and lake. We had a marvelous time just relaxing and enjoying. The location is very convenient to golf courses, lake, resturants, etc. The owners have put the very best of "everything" in their home for us to enjoy!

My husband and I stayed at "The Crow's Nest" for our honeymoon in September 2004. It was exactly as described on the website and more. There is a gorgeous view off the covered, screened-in porch. We loved sitting in the hot tub at night watching the big screen TV. The owners have thought of everything you could ever want in the house. This was a great place to be, even when it was raining, since the hot tub was covered and the gas grill is in a covered area as well. We loved every minute of our visit. We hope to be able to afford to go back in the future.
