This is a beautiful casita with a fantastic view of Lake Chapala. The casita has a balcony outside the bedroom with an unparalleled view of Lake Chapala. It's very quiet and peaceful and secure as we are in a gated community.

The bed has a lovely Memory Touch mattress for your sleeping comfort.

The casita has a very private outside dining area shaded from the sun and surrounded with beautiful tropical plants and an unobstructed view of lake Chapala.

This is a second floor casita with a separate entrance in a private home located halfway between Chapala and Ajijic by the shores of Lake Chapala Mexico's largest lake. This is the only property in Chapala that utilizes solar energy for both hot water and electricity. It's location is within easy distance by bus to both Chapala and Ajijic. It is a 5-7 minute walk from the house to the bus and you will have to be able to walk uphill on the return. We are only a 35 minute drive from the Guadalajara International Airport and a 5 hr drive to the west coast beaches of Manzanillo and Puerto Vallarta. There are many side trips available for excellent prices from this area. The casita boasts a living room/kitchen with dining area and sofa. The views of both Lake Chapala and the Sierra Mountains are breathtaking from your casita. The rates include all utilities and consumables such as soap, purified drinking water, laundry room with soap, toilet paper, dish detergent, trash bags, shampoo etc. There is wireless internet in the casita and we provide maid service once a week. The rates include pickup and delivery from the airport.

  • This beautiful,peaceful,fully equipped casita has the most gorgeous view of the lake and mountains..excellent location for access to Chapala and Ajijic..The owners Al and Wilma, are great hosts..what a great place to stay..you can not find a better view of the lake.

  • I stayed here a few years ago. The casita was perfect - private and beautifully decorated. The view of the lake was unreal. The owners knew the area well and were very happy to suggest ways for us make the most of our time there. We were a bit worried about not knowing Spanish, but we needn't have worried - almost everyone spoke English and the number of expats made the area feel like a second home.

  • We stayed in the Casita in February/09, it was a lovely setting, beautiful gardens. The Casita was clean and very well set up with cable TV and a lovely bathroom with a great shower. Our landlord was brilliant and very helpful letting us use washer machine. It was a very nice experience. The weather was so lovely l didn't want to come back to Canada. We really enjoyed Lake Chapala.

  • We spent a glorious month in the casita and found it to be very comfortable with everyone one needs to have a truly enjoyable vacation. We enjoyed the most fabulous view (especially from the bed out the patio door)of the Lake. The parklike yard is gorgeous and we felt extremely safe in this quiet and elegant property. We would return in a heartbeat!
