This beach home is quaint and tastefully furnished. The kitchen is well-equipped, and there are games and activities galore. There are extensive decks surrounding the home and on the roof, allowing guests to enjoy the peaceful surroundings and renowned sunsets of Sunset Beach. The yard is completely fenced in and beach access is less than 300 feet from the house. Note this is a NO SMOKING home - dogs are allowed off season only. We welcome rentals from families and responsible adults over the age of 25.
Sunset Beach is the Southern-most island on the North Carolina coast and just 20 minutes from North Myrtle Beach. When you cross the one lane floating swing bridge onto Sunset Beach island, you will instantly relax. Sunset Beach is one of North Carolina’s most peaceful beaches with over 200 feet of natural dunes before the first row of homes. The atmosphere is quiet and family-oriented, even during peak season months. One of the Nation’s most beautiful wildlife preserves – Bird Island – is just a short walk down the beach. Observe deer, wild goats, sea turtles, and other sea life as well as enjoy miles of undeveloped dunes and marsh areas.
If you're a golfer, there are dozens of gorgeous courses just minutes of the island. Also, we're close to many local conference centers (Sea Trail is one), making our home a nice alternative to hotel lodging.

- Pet Friendly: Off Season ONLY - our home is "dog friendly" - maximum 2. No pit bulls, rotweillers or other extra large breeds (owner descretion). Post-rental cleaning service REQUIRED and part of the security deposit is non-refundable. Tenants must supply breed name, weight, age at time of deposit.
- Kid Friendly: Sunset Beach is synonymous with family! We have kids and our house is a great vacation spot for families. The fully fenced yard is a plus.
- Minimum Age Limit for Renters: Families and responsible adults over the age of 25 are welcomed to rent our beach home. No house parties or large groups.
- Smoking Not Allowed: Absolutely NO SMOKING on the property or in the home.

VRBO was an idea a friend passed along and what great response so far! The summer is filling up - we rent off season as well! The Spring and Fall are beautiful here at Sunset.
