The houses worked perfect for us. The guides were able to pick us up rite on the river which got us fishing all the more quickly. The two homes we rented were well furnished, clean and roomy. There were eight of us total so the roominess was appreciated. The area is beautiful and scenic and we are looking forward to the next visit.

A clean well equipped clean and comfortable house. We were four adults and a four year old, plenty of room and space for the four year old to play inside and outside. Fishing off the deck or just relaxing and enjoying the river and nature. Close to a boat marina if you have a boat or want to rent one. Great fishing if you choose or just enjoy nature. I strongly recommended staying here.

It's uncommon to be able to fish off the deck - most guests enjoy the lower deck for the serenity of nature and watch the river roll by. Also guides sometimes opt to pick up guests at the steps to the river depending on current water conditions - and you can rent a boat just up the street plus we have plenty of parking if you bring your own. We recently stayed at the Riverside Vacation Homes and we were very disappointed in the accommodations and feel they were greatly misrepresented. The property was not clean as advertised. The kitchen and bath were fine but the carpeting in the house was deplorable and smelled. Fishing from the deck was not possible because it was not accessible to the river and fishing from the bank safely was not possible either. It was not a good experience and we will not retrun.

The comments on vrbo.com and our guestbooks in Riverside Vacation Homes reflect very favorably. During your visit my husband was told by you everything was fine. It disappoints me that you now decide otherwise. It is a priority for our guests to be satisfied. Fluctuation of the White River varies throughout the day-sometimes it's so low you can walk across and during that same day it may be generating so you need to use a boat for fishing. The Corps of Engineers operate the generators (based on power needs, flood control, etc.) that dictate the flow of the river and is not a time-scheduled event. We recommend several excellent guides for your fishing pleasure or simply relax on the decks overlooking White River. We know the area, people, restaurants, and glad to assist you with any questions or planning of your trip to Bull Shoals Lake/White River area. Thank you!

We spent 3 nights in this peaceful, super clean home. It is right on the river where you can sit out on the deck and enjoy the water. It even has a fenced back yard for our 2 small dogs and a covered area for your vehicle. Sherry is wonderful to work with. I accidently left my Kindle and she called and is shipping it to me at no charge. Would highly recommend this home!

My family has stayed in each one of the condos that Sherry and Charlie have on the river and we have never had a bad experience. It is the perfect get away and we look forward to going every year. This past July we stayed in the condo by the river and loved it! Waking up to have coffee and breakfast on the deck watching the fog rise off the water is amazing! The condo was very clean and had all the conveniences of our own home. Sherry and Charlie are very knowledgable of the area and always there to help when needed such as getting a great fishing guide to take us on a trip. The condos are in a perfect location and are right down the street from a park. We recommend everyone to take a vacation here and always bring friends along to experience the awesome feeling that these condos conjure up. We will continue to make reservations here every year.

We recently stayed at Sherry and Charlie's house on the White River. This was our first trip to the area. Prior to arriving Sherry could not have been more helpful. She sent us information on the area and fishing guide information. Charlie was there when we arrived and gave us some tips on the river and fishing. The house was very, very clean. It was so much more than we expected. We felt at home immediately. We spent time every day and night relaxing on the deck overlooking the river. We will diffently return and would recommend this property highly. Thank you Sherry and Charlie for providing a wonderful home away from home.

This was our 1st trip to the White River. This house has beautiful views and a private access to the river. The fishing was great, we caught our trout limit each day! Thanks for a wonderful, relaxing weekend. We will definately be back.

I have stayed at many places and resorts over the years, but Sherry & Charlie's place is by far the best. You can always count on seeing lots of wildlife (and trout) from the deck. This property has all the comforts of home (and then some). On a scale of one to ten, I'd give it a "fifteen."

We enjoyed our week here so much, we booked for the same time next year. This place is way beyond everything we could have expected. The house is very cozy and comfy and has everything you need to just walk in the door and settle in. The deck was my favorite place... It is so peaceful and the view of the bluffs and the river are so beautiful. Gary really loved that you could walk right down to the river and fish any time you felt like it! The weather was perfect and the fishing was good. Sherry and Charlie are great people and treat you like a long lost friend ... thank you! Everyone we met here were so friendly and nice ... can't wait to get back there!

What a great place....very, very clean, great fishing out your front door for trout or a short drive to the lake for bass and walleye. Our trout guide even picked us up by boat just 30 yards from our deck. This our third year of being here for a month....the time flies by. Our guests love coming here too. We couldn't ask for more! It's the Ozarks at their best!

We love the awesome peace and quiet on the river. At night, you can hear owls, herons and the occasional cry of the peacocks down the road. The lower deck is an incredible place to read and relax! We will be back again. Enjoy! Jim & Debi
