In beautiful unspoiled Imperial Beach lies an oasis...just 15 minutes from downtown San Diego but you might as well be an ocean away. Imperial Beach is quite possibly the last undiscovered beach town in California. Just south of the crowds and chaos of Coronado, this spacious, quiet condo provides you with easy access to peaceful beaches, beautiful sunsets and the simple opportunity to unwind. Literally less than 50 steps to the sand and water, this 2000 square foot home is not a party condo, but a wonderfully appointed retreat for families and groups looking to get away to the warmth of sun and sand with out paying huge luxury hotel bills!

This home offers 4 full bedrooms and if you stay once, you’ll want to come back to this same location. The kitchen is well appointed, the rooms are comfortable and roomy, the living room has space for everyone to meet and share. Three bedrooms are equipped with a T.V., DVD, VCR and cable. Wireless Internet access is also included. The Kitchen is fully equipped with a large refrigerator (ice maker and cold water dispenser), a small wine refrigerator, a double oven gas range with stovetop, microwave, dishwasher as well as a coffee maker and espresso machine and Vitamix blender.

We are 8 blocks from the grocery store and pharmacy, 3 blocks from the ice cream shop, 3 blocks from a world class restaurant (MZM Bistro) and a pleasant walk to the Tijuana Wildlife Refuge and Estuary, a RAMSAR site and one of the foremost reserves in California, with its hiking and biking trails.

Imperial Beach offers easy access to San Diego – we are 25 minutes drive from Knott’s Soak City, 20 minutes to the famous San Diego Zoo, 20 minutes to Sea World, 20 minutes to the airport, 10 minutes to Mexico and 1 minute to the beach! While the pictures tell much of the store, this condo is just next door to Kath's Cafe' one of the more popular cafes in town and is adjacent to our lovely D'ames Day Spa and 1 block away from a park with picnic and playground facilities.

Because this is my first year listing my property I am offering a greatly reduced rate in hopes of building my guest list. I hope that you take advantage of this first year's special rate and vacation with us here in Imperial Beach.

  • We just came home from our wonderful stay in this lovely beach condo. It was huge, immaculate, and the beds were comfortable. The beach was only a few steps out the back door and across a small driveway. Imperial Beach is a charming town; there are lots of little places to eat close by. Our favorite was The Tin Fish, an informal seafood place at the end of the IB pier. The seafood was very good and it was fun to eat outside and watch the sun go down over the ocean. We brought our family of teenagers and 20 somethings and they had fun hanging out at the beach for a wonderful week between college semesters. We plan to return; the owner is a lovely lady who made us feel very welcome.

  • I stayed here with a large group of friends for the weekend and it was absolutely fantastic. Great location, great discount at a wonderful dayspa, and fully stocked with all the amenities that you would want in a vacation rental. The owner was very pleasant and friendly and made us feel very welcome upon checkin. We'll definitely be returning on our next trip.

  • We had a family reunion Cristmas week using this beautiful condo as our headquarters. It was much more deluxe than any hotel could possibly be--the beds comfy, the linens so special, the towels so thick and lovely--even the Q-tips were more fluffy than any I had seen! The espresso machine was a delilghtl and the kitchen had an amazing array of deluxe cook pots & pans, not to mention all kinds of spices to suit any need. We cooked a turkey and all the fixings, plus! The location was ideal, right at the water, a park, the pier, a coffee shop, & yet not jammed w/tourists or rowdies & noise. The owner is so dear, had lovely Xmas decorations up for us, and was very cooperative! We will be back!

  • Having stayed in this Imperial Beach house from October 15-20 2008, We wanted to tell any potential renters or vacationers of the exceptional value this place offers! We were two families on vacation, and have spent time in San Diego before, so we know about the potential housing/hotel disappointments that are offered as " prime vacation properties" but turn out to be low end accomodations that make you wish you were somewhere else. Rest assured, this is nothing of that sort!! This was one of the classiest places we have stayed and also one of the cleanest. We were treated wonderfully by the owner and were made to feel right at home. There is something to be said for being this close to the beach but not having the loud busy beach atmosphere normally found in many of the other local beaches. This property is top notch and when we return, we will book early so as not to risk losing this chance at beach living at its nicest! The entire place is well appointed with top end furniture and ammenities and we enjoyed our entire stay. The owner went out of the way to make sure our stay was great and easily outdid the service at most high end hotels! Definitely 5 star accomodations. We highly recommend this house if you like above average vacationing. Now for the bad.... Well...., there wasn't anything bad!! We would have to make something up if We were to fill out this paragraph! As a summary, We would say, "YOU WON'T BE SORRY!" Our stay was GREAT!!

  • This was a wonderful vacation. The home was everything we hoped for; plenty of room, beautifully furnished, and met all our needs. We loved that it was within 50 feet of the beach. We didn't need to cross any roads to get there. There are downward stairs within the living area, so precations are necessary with toddlers. We had had two children (5 and 2) with us and had no problems.
