Nestled in the heart of downtown Rockport, this fully renovated historic Cape Ann Victorian Manse was originally built in 1865. The house is a two-minute walk to downtown shops, art galleries, and restaurants, and a three-minute walk to larger Rockport beaches.
Victorian Villa's First Floor Condo sleeps six, and includes a beautiful Master Suite, with down-comforter Queen Bed, antique furnishings, air conditioning. The French doors open onto a lovely, flower-covered deck overlooking the lush back yard, and the small stream running along the back of the property. Ensuite to the Master Bedroom is a bright bathroom (shower only, no tub). This bathroom also has access from the central hallway.
The First Floor Guest Room provides a down-comforter Double/Full bed, beautiful antique furnishings, a handsome desk surrounded by light-filled windows, and two floor-to-ceiling built-in bookcases. Adjacent to the Guest Room is a well-appointed half bath.
The focal point of the First Floor Condo is the beautiful gourmet kitchen; with double oven, gas cook top stove, microwave, and all the amenities any cook could want, or need. Eat-in casually at the brand new (June) granite counter, or enjoy formal dining in the adjacent dining room. The bright, gorgeous, living room, with working gas fireplace, has a pull out Queen Sleeper bed. The French doors off the living room open onto the beautiful deck, which overlooks the backyard below.
The Garden Suite is situated directly below the First Floor Condo and may be accessed via the interior staircase, or separate exterior entrance. Garden Suite sleeps 2-4, with a double bed, a Queen Bed sofa, four-person table for dining or games/puzzles, TV, and CD Player. There is a half-bath on the same level; via the laundry room. The Garden Studio is situated at the rear of the home, with windows looking out onto the beautiful back yard. It is quiet, and remains very cool during summer months; no air conditioning is required.
Victorian Villa amenities include: 1 bath with shower and 2 half baths, wireless internet, two air conditioners, cable televisions, DVD players, stereos/CD players, two extensive libraries, full-size washer and dryer, patio furniture, and a charcoal grill in the yard. All kitchenware, dishes, and linens are included.
Two (tandem) off-street parking spaces are provided. Space is also available on the surrounding streets. The house is one block from the local library, the Post Office, with a convenience store and dry cleaner on the corner.
Victorian Villa is located 1/2 mile from the Rockport Train Station, with regular one-hour train service to North Station in Boston. A grocery store and pharmacy are situated next to the Rockport Train Station, and larger, chain grocery stores are 3 miles up Rt. 127, in Gloucester.

Summer 2010 rate: $2,200 per week/one week minimum + $80.00 cleaning fee.
Weekly rentals from 3 PM Saturday to 10 AM next Saturday.
Maximum 8 Guests.
$550 Security Deposit required on all weekly rentals. Checks preferred.
4.5% surcharge on all credit card payments.
Small pet allowed with owner approval. No smoking.
