The Lighthouse Resort is located in "The Heart of Gulf Shores" on the Gulf Coast Alabama Beaches. Half a mile from the "T" at 59 South and East Beach Blvd.
Do you remember the "Old Lighthouse Motel"? well, this majestic resort has taken it's place in the sand. One of the newest and largest editions to this great beach town. Just walking distance to area Restaurants, shopping & fun activities. Walk to the "Hang Out" for great food and live music. Dine overlooking the Gulf at The Board Walk "Sea & Suds"(one block away on beach side).
Enjoy the sugar sand white beaches, wonderful shopping and exciting attractions.
Things to do for the whole family: Waterville USA, The Track, Go-Cart Racing, Bumper Cars, Putt Putt Golf, ZooLand Mini-Golf, Tanger Outlet Center, Fishing (onshore or off shore charters available), Dolphin Cruises, Glass Bottom Boat Tours,and many other attractions. There are some of the most wonderful Golf Courses within minutes of this resort. The new Alabama Gulf State Pier just opened mid July "09 and features 1,500 feet of brand new fishing and viewing facilities. The admission is $2.00 for site seeing and $8.00 for fishing. Located just half a mile East of The Lighthouse.
Don't forget about the Gulf Fresh Seafood served in many of the local diners. You can't visit Gulf Shores without eating LuLu's (Jimmy Buffett's Sister)enjoy family dining and live music on the water as you watch the boats go by while the kids play in the giant sand box.
The Wharf is located a few miles away.(in Orange Beach) Live concerts most every week, including Taylor Swift, Willie Nelson, Montgomery Gentry, Hank Williams Jr., Sugar Land and many, many more. Visit award winning restaurants and shops including the Guy Harvey Museum and dinning. Ride the Giant Ferris Wheel to catch a glimpse of the beach at sunset.

Our Beautiful Beach Condo is directly on the Beach! Updated Furnishings/ Decorated bright and cheerful...kid friendly. (We even have a Highchair and Pack-n-Play tucked in the closet just in case you need it.)Save time and space on packing!
You will need to pack the following: Beach Towels, Shampoo, Hair Dryer, Sunscreen, clothes washing detergent and softener. There will be an initial supply of paper towels, toilet tissue,bath soap, dishwasher tabs, dish soap and trash bags. The initial supply will not be replenished during your stay.
Our unit has a full size washer/dryer in a "Real Utility Room" not a closet. We have Three "Real" Bedrooms. King Size bed in master bedroom, Queen Size Bed in middle room and Double Bed in third bedroom. There is also a Queen Sized Sleeper/Sofa in the Den. The beautiful view of the beach can be seen from the Master Bedroom (Private Balcony), the kitchen and den. 42" HDTV in the Den. TV in each bedroom. Wake up to the smell and sound of the beach! Overlooking the pools and of course, the Beautiful Gulf of Mexico!!!
Make sure to check our calendar for available dates. Check-in is at 3:00 pm and departure is at noon.
Our unit is located on the 15th floor.
We require a pre payment on vacation of $200 (applied to balance) to be paid in advance to make the reservations and hold the dates. These fees can be paid by Visa or Master Card. Your balance would be due at arrival. We have a cancellation policy in place just in case your plans change. Call for details.

Spacious 3 bdr. condo high above the beach. Great location.- Ideal for family with older children or teens. Unit now 6 or 7 years old and could stand a few updates but everything works quite well.

This was a terrific property. We really enjoyed all of the facilities. My children really benefitted from the zero-entry pool and the indoor pool (to get a break from the sun). Having 3 bedrooms and 3 baths was awesome. The balcony was accessible from the master bedroom and living room. That is nice at night to listen to the waves rolling in. Plenty of room on the balcony, and the balcony is always shaded. I would definitely stay again.

This was a great place to stay. The rooms were large and roomy. The main living area easily accommodated the three generations we had with us on vacation. The deck was large and in the shade all day which meant it was a great place to just sit and listen to the ocean. We will definitely pick this unit again!
