  I have stayed in many of the units at the Hale Hui Kai and I must say this is one of my favorites. It's obviously been newly remodeled and furnishings are amazing as well as comfortable. We had a couple of young ones so we at lunch and cooked at the condo most of the time. It had just about everything we needed. One of my favorite places was the balcony where there was a nice seating area for reading or taking a mid afternoon nap! I would highly recommend the Hale Hui Kai and this particular unit!

  This Condo is ultra modern and "neat as a pin" and I don't think it gets any better than this. 2011 was my third year in a row staying in this unit and this condo feels like home every time I return. I have already booked for 2012 and can hardly wait to return. You have everything you could possible need in this luxury condo, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, internet access, telephone for local calls, 2 bedrooms each with a king size bed, sofa sleeper, luxurious towels, beach chairs, beach towels, cooler and the list goes on and on, but you get the idea. The condo is right on the best beach in Maui (Keawakapu), great swimming, snorkelling, body surfing, miles of great beach for walking or jogging and the SUNSETS are incredible!! Martha, that does the bookings is awesome; she is very accommodating and can answer any questions you have about Maui. I could write a book about how great this place is, so if you want a wonderful and memorable vacation on Maui you can’t go wrong with this Condo at the Hale Hui Kai.

  We just returned from Maui today and I am already looking to see what dates are available for next year at the Hale Hui Kai, particularly unit 203. I wouldn't think to stay anywhere else. The condo unit was beautifully remodeled, the complex itself is right on the beach, which can't be said for many other condos, the people staying there were all so friendly (most of them repeat renters of many years) - happy hours watching the whales and the sunsets were very enjoyable. My husband and I loved the early morning walks on the beach and the late nights listening to the waves. No shortage of great restaurants and bars nearby.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

  Three friends and I took a trip to the beautiful island of Maui. We were there to celebrate our fiftieth birthdays. While there we stayed in a lovely condo at the Hale Hui Kai. The condo was beautifully furnished with lots of extras. It was such a pleasant and comfortable place to stay. There is a completely furnished kitchen with all the amenities of home. On the lanai there is a lovely place to sit and visit. The beach is fabulous and the property of the condo immaculately kept. There is a patio in which you can enjoy the beautiful sunsets. Martha was amazing. She was available and helpful the entire ten days we were there. She answered any questions we had and checked up on our stay. The location is perfect for any activity you may want to enjoy. There are restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Also each morning we walked a beautiful trail along the beach. All of us are planning a return visit and wouldn't think of staying anywhere else but the Hale Hui Kai.

  It has been exactly one year since we celebrated my husband's 65th birthday at Hale Hui Kai #203 and we wish we were there again. Lounging on beautiful Keawakapu beach at dusk with our tiki torches blazing we enjoyed the most romantic picnic dinner of our life. Just steps away we could refill our beverages from the condo we feel is home away from home . This condo is very clean and well maintained with a gorgeous upgraded kitchen, extremely comfortable king sized beds, beautiful large glassed in showers and every luxury amenity one could hope for throughout. This was our 3rd stay in this unit and this time we decided to spend a full month. Joining us for part of the month was my sister and her family with daughters 13 and 17 who loved lazing about the pool for part of the day then boogie boarding and snorkeling the rest of the day. The bonus of this location is never having to pack up to go to the beach or get in a car to drive somewhere to have FUN. The teens had been with us here the summer before and were excited to return to Hale Hui Kai #203. We would recommend this property to all ages as our very first visit 4 years ago was to celebrate our mother's 80th birthday. The property has an elevator for those who find stairs a challenge. A favorite sitting area for the seniors of our group was the lanai outside the elevator that opened up to a lovely garden facing the panoramic view of the ocean. A comfortable couch and chairs are available for those who want to sit and watch the waves roll in from a shaded lanai. Walks to the beach are very easily managed as it is just steps from the lanai. They still talk about a return trip and have wonderful memories to recall of this marvelous paradise. The onsite managers of this unit and property Martha and Ben are available to make every moment special. This enjoyable couple know where to find the best of Maui and are so helpful with any questions or concerns. A special unexpected bonus is onsite massage for those of us with aches and pains. Martha is a very skilled massage therapist. A massage in Maui is heavenly! With having a full month to enjoy Maui we were able to do numerous hikes in various areas. Photography opportunities are out of this world. We recommend you discuss your adventurous interests with Martha and Ben, as their suggestions are great. We fully recommend this to all our friends and family BUT please leave some dates available for us to return again!

  This location is beautifully situated on the Keawakapu beach at the south end of Kihei away from the commercial strip, next to private residences. The beach is wonderful for walking, sunbathing, playing, and snorkeling. The unit has been remodeled with top grade furnishings and although the unit is not beachfront, the garden setting is peaceful and the front of the small complex is just steps to the beach. Close enough to walk to the Wailea resorts on the beach. Has all the amenities needed for a very comfortable stay. A great place to unwind and relax. Plan to return when we can.
