Acadia Getaway House is a short walk/bike from this network of 60 miles of car-free routes. It has all of the information and much of the gear you need to have the perfect vacation.
Of course, there is so much more to do in Bar Harbor. With dozens of restaurants, galleries, museums, and boat tours, you will have lots of options. You can take the free, propane-fueled Island Explorer shuttle from outside the house and see the Island or go to town.
Acadia Getaway House is the perfect place for a family (we have baby gear!) or two couples who want a comfortable place to come home to. With the complete kitchen, library, fireplace,and views of Cadillac and Sargeant Mountains from the master bedroom, you can spend a relaxing day indoors as well.
