View of Christiansted Harbor - St. Croix, Caribbean Vacation Home 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, Great Location Located just 5 minutes west of Christiansted on a lush tropical hillside overlooking the Caribbean sea, this colorfully decorated villa shouts "VACATION"! The views are simply the best on the island. You can watch the "Roseway" sail every afternoon out of Christiansted harbour, as she passes Green Cay and Buck Island. Looking on toward the east you'll also see the BVIs and the other two US Virgin Islands. Nighttime is magical. Lighted cruise ships seem to hang in space and on clear nights the ferry can be seen pulling into dock on St Thomas Cruzan Heart Villa faces northeast to the sea, giving morning sun and afternoon shade to the main rooms. You'll find plenty of sun at the enormous private pool but will also find shade created by the palms and towering mahogany trees. The villa is high enough to enjoy trade wind breezes and lower temperatures but is just 1/4 mile off an excellent paved road in a quiet neighborhood of local professionals. Its location in the heart of the island makes it easier to explore all of St Croix. Turn left at the bottom of the hill to go to the north shore and Fredricksted; turn right for Christiansted and the east end. Bring your snorkeling gear and explore a different beach every day! Two fully stocked grocery stores, including duty free liquor, are less than a mile away, along with such conveniences as Blockbuster, McDonald's and Subway. You can cook in the large, fully equipped kitchen or on the gas grill by the pool. For a change of pace from Christiansted dining, try the 3 fine restaurants in the La Grande Princesse area (two on the beach), less than 5 minutes away. The entire villa received a tropical face lift in January 2008. New paint, new furniture, pool refurbished. The master and second bedrooms face the sea. The third bedroom opens onto a deck overlooking the pool. As you relax in the living room, look for tiny bananaquits (sugar birds) bathing in the leaves of the orchid growing on the Christmas palm off the porch. Just lounge by the pool with a book, or stay in touch with the rest of the world via broadband wireless or cable TV. To help you enjoy a worry free vacation at Cruzan Heart, our local manager will lead you to the villa from the airport, answer questions, arrange activities and be available in case of emergency.
