We nearly called our villa "The Six Blues" because of the complex mix of colors of the sea and sky you see from it's hillside setting. We settled on "Cruzan Heart" which describes not only our love for the island, but also the house's location in the "heart" of St Croix.
From our villa you can easily explore the eastside, westside, and northshore. Christainsted with it's boardwalk, dining and shopping is only a 5 minute drive. Grocery stores and restaurants are closer. Spend some time at far flung beaches or visit one of the top ten beaches at the two resorts (with great restaurants!) just down the hill. Schedule a Thai massage, read a book, go diving, tour the rum factory or botanical garden, buy fresh fish or lobster at the farmers' market........or just sit and watch the sea.
The villa is bright and colorfully decorated, with high ceilings, skylights, spacious fully equipped kitchen, porches, and white tile floors. It faces northeast to the sea so gets morning sun but no harsh afternoon sun. You can see Buck Island, Green Caye, Christensted
harbour, the BVIs, St John and St Thomas from the living room and pool deck. The tile pool is large, deep and private with plenty of sun but shady spots provided by mahogony trees and palms. There are 3 bedrooms, one king and two queen, and 2 bathrooms. Our on island property manager will show you to the house from the airport or your car rental agency at
no extra charge.
