We had a wonderful time staying at this vacation home in Jamaica in October. It was on the main road and easy to find. The location was ideal. While there, we visited Jamaica State Park, Brattlesboro, Strafford and loved the drive along Rt. 7A, stopping at all the shops along the way. The house was cozy and the kitchen was well-equipped. There was plenty of wood left for us and we enjoyed a fire every night we were there. The beds were very comfortable. The outside deck was big and we had a beautiful view of the trees with fall foliage. I communicated with the owner both by phone, email and mail and she was great to work with. Answered all our questions and was very responsive. This was the perfect house and perfect location for my friends and I to take in a day of sightseeing & shopping and then return to cook dinner, enjoy a glass of wine or beer and then chat near the fire.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

We stayed at this property for three nights over Super Bowl weekend, and our group couldn't have been happier with the rustic charm and true Vermont experience. Very cozy, but enough space for everyone to have a good time. During the evenings after a day of skiing we chose to get away from the noise of the apres-ski, opting instead to spend time in the living room in front of a roaring fireplace. Having the game room in the basement was a great added value, as we hosted our own round robin ping pong tourney. Located right off the main room, but secluded enough to feel like we were all alone, the house is the perfect location for a day of skiing at Stratton, Bromley [our personal favorite], and Magic mountain.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

Had a great visit over MLK weekend. Great location. Very close to Stratton Access Road. House was well equipped and cozy. Everything was very clean and neat. Pictures do not show it, but there was a nice TV to watch the playoff football games. Would stay again.Recommended for: Families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

My husband and I stayed at the house for a few nights with our baby, it was perfect. The house is far enough away from everything to be peaceful and close enough for convenience. The owners were very helpful and easy to work with. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. We would recommend staying here and hope to be back ourselves soon.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

My husband and I spent five wonderful days relaxing in this comfortable home and exploring the area. The home is very clean and well maintained. All the amenities of home are available from a full kitchen stocked with dishes and cooking supplies, family area with games and a ping pong table, satellite TV, and Internet service. The bedroom we stayed in was very comfortable. It was very easy to sleep in late. Loved having the full size washer and dryer! This home is close to Stratton Mountain, Bromley, and Manchester Center outlet shopping. We recommend hiking in Jamaica State Park to Hamilton Falls. Shady walk but steep in some spots. Also recommend eating at nearby Three Mountain Inn and Tony's Pizza. If you need groceries, visit D&Ks and for quick bite, Jamaica Coffee House. We'd go back and visit again!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

Spent a week at the cabin prior to Memorial Day and it was a great place for a get-away...lots of activities around the local area (golf, hiking, biking, shopping). The cabin had everything needed for a relaxing stay and was very reasonably priced.Recommended for: Families with young children, sightseeing, families with teenagers.

Great House. Very clean, cosy and comfortable. I have severe dust allergies and I usually have problems at rentals - but not here!!. The kids enjoyed the bunk beds and the ping-pong table. Perfect location in Southern Vermont and the best value for the money that we have experienced on our trips there. We hope to be back!!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

My family and I spent a wonderful week during July at this cabin. It was very accomodating/comfortable, close to many points of interest as well as easy to get to and offered many outdoor activities in the nearby area. In the winter you are in a great place that is close to skiing. I would highly recommend this cabin - we had a great time.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We just got back from a wonderful stay, my family had a great time at this cozy home. The house was clean, and comfortable with everything we needed. The location is very close to Stratton and it didn't take long to get to Manchester. The owners were very easy to communicate with and we hope to come back soon! PS- My father and brother had a lot of fun reading the older books.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0
