This completely renovated 1930’s home is in the village of Kohler, Wisconsin. Kohler is a Garden/Industry Community incorporated in 1912. The village is one of the nation’s first planned communities designed by the highly regarded landscape architect, Fredrick Law Olmstead who also designed Central Park in New York and the Harvard Campus. Kohler is a wonderful place to spend lazy summer days. This is a tranquil neighborhood of friendly families and charming homes.
The house is on Hill Street, centrally located in the village, just 4 blocks from the AAA Five Diamond rated American Club Resort and Water Spa. It is a short stroll to enjoy several of the fine restaurants at the American Club, or relax at the Water Spa. Black Wolf, Whistling Straights and The Bull, all world class golf courses, are only minutes away. The organic food and wine market, specialty shops and boutiques at Woodlake Village are also just a short walk.
A minute or two from the house is the Sports Core, a state of the art health club facility that offers tennis, fitness classes a beauty salon, and beach and lake access. A newly updated indoor/outdoor community pool is two blocks from the house. There is walking and biking trails throughout the village that connect to the historic 21 mile Old Plank Trail.
Kohler is close to uncrowded movie theaters, and museums. Water sports are available on Elkhart Lake or go to the shore of Lake Michigan in Sheboygan, sit on the sandy beach and watch the surfers! The beaches of Lake Michigan are just a 10 minute drive and historic Elkhart Lake and Road America is also only 10 minutes away. The home is a perfect getaway from urban noise and traffic. The pace is cottage community, only a couple of hours from Chicago.

Kohler is also home to Kohler Company and the five diamond resort The American Club, as well as world class golf courses, Whistling Straights and Black Wolf Run.
