La Casita is a newly renovated cottage located in a quiet neighborhood just one block from Lake Charlevoix and a short walk from Ferry Beach. This property offers all new amenities, such as ceiling fans in all rooms and new doors and windows, which allow for refreshing cross-breezes. Guests can be assured of privacy from neighbors, with tall hedges on three sides, and lots of sun during the mid-day hours. There is a new deck that is perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach, on the boat, or on one of the many outstanding local golf courses. Feel free to grill outside or cook inside, as the kitchen is well-equipped with everything a cook might need.

Ideally located, La Casita is a 15 minute walk to downtown for convenient proximity to restaurants and shops. When you are ready to leave the hustle and bustle of downtown, you can quickly return to the property for some much-needed down time in a tranquil setting. La Casita is immaculately maintained both inside and out, with beautiful flower beds and a lush green lawn for kids and adults to enjoy. There is ample parking for visitors, with plenty of space for your boat, RV or snowmobile trailer.

  • This is a beautiful cottage in a great location! Walking distance to the Ferry beach, less than a mile downtown. This is one of those occasions where my expectations were far exceeded. We arrived to find a spacious, clean, well appointed, cute cottage. It seemed as though everything had been thought of, from the decor, to the soft towels and sheets, extra pillows, blankets, even a bottle of wine that the owners left in the fridge for us. Our 3 kids enjoyed the spacious bedroom with bunkbeds, the toy blocks, there were even kid cups and bibs available for use. The kids had fun playing in the huge front yard while the adults relaxed on the deck that was very private. The area is very quiet, save the occasional planes that fly overhead (the airport is located nearby), but even that was no negative, just another entertainment for the kids. I never heard them at night, I think the cottage must be very soundproof. The owners were very prompt in answering my questions and providing us with information, even emailing us prior to our arrival to let us know the cottage was ready and we could show up early if we wanted to. I will definitely stay at La Casita again, I can't say enough good things about our stay!
