Gulf House is located directly on the Gulf of Mexico in Grayton Beach, right next to the Grayton Beach State Park dunes and just a short walk from Grayton’s funky and eclectic assortment of shops and restaurants. Nostalgic beach home offers the perfect accommodations for your family vacation with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, sleeping up to 12 people. Enjoy panoramic Gulf and sunset views from large screened and open deck facing the beach and overlooking the dunes. Private beach walkover. This home is located on a quiet dead-end street making it ideal for families with children.
Large gulf front great room features three French doors that open out to the screened porch. The screen porch is outfitted with amble chairs and tables for enjoyment of the gulf breezes and sunsets. The adjacent dining area seats up to 10 at dining table (when you add the table leaf and pull up the 4 extra available chairs). Long wet bar has 7 barstools, sink and ice machine for convenience. Casually decorated, carpeted great room features two double sleeper sofas, various side chairs, tables and lamps allowing everyone to spread out while watching the huge LCD TV, DVD player, and stereo/CD player. High speed wireless internet. Galley style kitchen features white formica countertops, frig, dishwasher, microwave and glass top electric range.
All three bedrooms are gulf front, carpeted and have ceiling fans. King master bedroom offers king bed, 2 bedside tables with lamps, side chair, LCD TV and private bath with long vanity countertop and built-in drawers, fold out ironing board and a shower. First Queen bedroom has 2 queen beds, dresser, bedside tables with lamps and a TV/DVD. Second Queen guest bedroom features bedside table, lamp and dresser. Hall bath has vanity sink and a shower.
Full sized washer and dryer located in separate utility room. Gas BBQ grill. Large driveway with parking for 2 cars under the house and 2 more behind them. Hot/cold outdoor shower with privacy stall. Large closet full of beach toys, floats, chairs, etc. Quality and quantity of items varies throughout the year and is not guaranteed.

As I sit on your porch with a glass of wine, watching my last sunset before I pack our bags, I'm reminded of what a wonderful, relaxing and beautiful week we have had. The very first morning I knew this week would be special when my husband was enjoying a cup of coffee on the porch and a big fox lopped along the dunes and escaped to the park next door by jumping the fence. Each day brought a totally different landscape - from a (still) emerald green ocean to big gray waves - big enough to surf in. The week's weather predictions were rain for 3 days - well, typical Florida fashion, it did its raining at night. One day it clouded up and we got a brief rainbow. The stars were magnificent. Take time to go outside at night. Loved Eden State Gardens, with camillia's in full bloom and azalea's in bud. Many hikes through the parks, woods and beaches. Love Grayton charm - the Red Bar - Shorty's was great! Thanks for sharing this gem.

Spring break 2010! Every spot from Destin to Panama City was crowded and busy...but here we felt like we had our own private beach. We couldn't ask for a better location. Thank you for sharing your wonderful vacation home with us.

A great place on the beach. We've been coming to Grayton for many years. This is the best yet. Views are fabulous, accommodations wonderful. Such a relaxing place to be. Thanks for sharing your heaven on earth with us. I hope we can come back next year!

Thank you for sharing Gulf House with us for another fabulous week in paradise. The weather and water were great - we pray this beautiful beach remains perfect and unspoilt. We especially enjoyed being able to celebrate as a family our mom/grandma's 83rd birthday during the week - party on the porch! The stars put on one spectacular show. We look forward to returning again next year.
