On spring-fed Lower Nemahbin Lake - beautifully updated, fully furnished comfortable home within 60 feet of the lake shore with pier. Lower Nemahbin is one of a chain of lakes. It is about a mile across-fishing year round, sailing, water skiing, jet ski, canoe from lake to lake. Just relax on the second story deck and watch the geese, ducks, herons, swans and numerous bird species.
Excellent fishing. Listen to the call of the bullfrogs. Expansive view of lake from kitchen, living room and wrap around deck. Short distance to boat ramp. Pontoon and other boat rentals nearby. No pets allowed. No Smoking inside home.
Close to Delafield and Oconomowoc. Short drive to a wide variety of restaurants and boutique shops, but away from any commercial area. Close to Aurora hospital.

Year Purchased: 2002
We presently live in Oklahoma and plan to retire at the lake home when the time comes. Our seven children and eight grandchildren live all over the country but all have visited the lake at one time or another. Both of us look forward to the quiet and serenity that this home offers.
Why the Owner Chose Oconomowoc
I grew up on a lake in this area and have never forgotten the joy of my childhood. When the opportunity arose we bought this home and plan to retire here.
The Unique Benefits of this House
We enjoy morning coffee on the deck so we can watch the fish and wildlife perform for us. Our grandchildren swim and fish off the pier. We love to kayak, canoe, swim and boat on this crystal clear lake.

We spent the first week of September at this lovely lakeside home. It was as advertised: immaculately clean; well furnished; well located for grocery shopping & close to a mall for those who like to shop, plus convenient to Madison and Milwaukee. A very lovely setting, and very quiet for relaxation.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, age 55+, sightseeing.

We have had delightful, peace filled month living on lower Lake Nemahbin in a comfortable lake house. The house is well equipped, well maintained and everything we needed was provided. It was all as pictured and the description accurately prepared us for this sweet cottage, The front of the house is all glass so the views of the lake are spectacular. As the light change during the day, we caught ourselves saying, “wow look how beautiful that is”, over and over again. The deck is very comfortable and was perfect for relaxing and watching the fish jump out of the lake to feed. It was also fun to watch Fall unfold a bit each day of September. We also made yoga and running friends in the area. The house is conveniently located with easy access to Hwy 94, the villages of Delafield, Hartland, and Oconomowoc. The owner of the home is very knowledgeable about the area and made great suggestions for dining and shopping. You also have good access to Milwaukee (30 min.), Madison (45-60 min), and Chicago (2 hours). If you are looking for a great place to really relax and enjoy nature this is it.

Perfect location, right on the lake. we had a lovely time and the only downside was having to leave. Surprisingly close to Milwaukee, we got back from a Brewers game within 30 minutes. Peaceful and quiet with lovely views out on to the lake.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

The house was clean and had a good view of the lake with one wall of the house being all windows. Close to shopping but there is no traffic where the house is. A very relaxing place. There are a lot of steps from the parking area to the house but the steps are new and in good shape. The lake is small but with the island it seems bigger then it is. I could not get the pontoon boat under the bridge to the other lakes although small boats could. The private docks maks it nice for the boat I rented. Everything worked and was as advertised.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children.
