Comes with Wild Dunes Sports Card.. This will gain you access to Wild Dunes Amenities. Wild dunes has a health and beauty facility, fitness center, Swimming pools, tennis, Golf etc. You will still have to pay a small fee to use the facilities, but you wouldn't be able to without this sports card. The sports card cost me $2,150 per year, so enjoy.
The house has been completely renovated with all furnishing new this year.
The bed arrangement if as follows: The is a master bedroom that has a king size bed. There is a loft up stairs that has 3 queens and a big screen TV with a DVD player (great for the kids to go and hang out while adults relax downstairs. There is a bedroom with 1 queen, 1 bedroom with 1 queen and 1 full, and 1 bedroom with 1 queen and two twins (bunk beds).
Property has two driveways. One inside the gates of wild dunes and one outside the gates. The U shaped drive way on located off of Palm Blvd has room for about 8 cars. The driveway located off of Fishers alley is a single driveway that can handle about 3 cars. I prefer to park off of Palm Blvd. Coming and going is easier because you don't have to go through the gates of Wild Dunes.
You are also very close to the main attraction "the beach".
You can go to youtube and type in "8 fishers alley" to view some videos that I taken of this house and of the beach.
If you like to shop, try Charleston. There are fun shops downtown and also there are factory outlets if that is what you like.
All of our quests that stayed here last year had a wonderful experience and had nothing but very nice comments about the condition of this property.

Why the Owner Chose Private Homes
We chose to purchase this house due to it's unique location. It is in Wild Dunes yet it is accessible from Isle of Palms (palm blvd.) It has a circle driveway off of palm blvd which 8 cars can park, there is also a single drive inside the gates of Wild Dunes along with a detached 2 car garage.
This property is located close to the beach, approx. 200 yards from the beach access. Because it is in Wild Dunes you also get to enjoy all the ammenities of Wild Dunes.
The house was structurally good when we purchased it but we renovated it. We replaced everything from roof, paint, carpets, furnishings, kitchen appliances ect. It is a very nice beach rental.
The Unique Benefits at this House
We love this house. We use it when it is not rented for family functions. It is so close to the beach and inside Wild Dunes. We sometimes go over and just go for bike rides on the paths in Wild Dunes or just for for walks on these paths. It is a magical place. I will always enjoy going to Wild Dunes to vacation.

I grew up in Colorado and went to Columbine High School. I then attended BYU in Provo Utah where I met my wife Debbie. She was from Charleston so when we got married I moved down south so she could be near her mother. We have 3 children; ages 20,17, and 9. They keep us very busy.
I own and operate a used car lot call Carolina Cars of Mt Pleasant. I enjoy what I do.
I Live on the Isle of Palms and I really enjoy it out there. I'm sure you will enjoy it as well when you rent this beach house.

We stayed on the property August 7-14. We feel that our vacation was somewhat ruined due to the conditions of this home. The house was very filthy. When we arrived to the home, the cleaning service was still there. We noticed that they did not bother to wash the kitchen floor. The floor was black slate so you could not see the dirt. Upon opening the kitchen drawers my husband noticed rat droppings. The next day and after we spent every morning cleaning up rat feces in the pantry, kitchen and dining area. We had small children with us and could not let them walk on this floor without covering their feet. On the second day of our stay my 12 year old called to me and said that a rat was in the pantry. Sure enought there was a rat stuck in a glue trap which was hidden behind a curtain. Obviously because of the rat trap placement, the owners knew of the problem. My husband grabbed a large bowl and put the rat and trap in it. The rat was trying to bite him. My husband released the rat across the street. We later noticed that the rats had eaten our food in the pantry. I was extremely disgusted. My brother in-law did contact the owner to let him know about the rats and the other conditions of the home. The owner did not seem too concerned. The bathrooms were also very filthy. The shower and tub were moldy and did not drain. We also noticed reminants on the wall near the toilet of either vomit or other. We were thinking the renters before us had quite the party. There were beer cans in the gutter of the house. The kicker of the week was the cockroach in the bed I was sleeping in. I have stayed in many VRBO properties and have never had a bad experience like this. Every home that we have stayed in has been beautiful with very helpful owners. Unfortunately, this was not our experience this time. If someone is renting a home these things should be taken care of in advance. We were extremely disappointed and I feel it partially ruined our vacation.
Owner response:In response to your review of our house; I'm sorry that the cleaning service was still there when you moved in. This was a scheduling problem that has been corrected. I have also talked with the cleaning service and explained the problem areas that you addressed. As far as that problem with the rodent. We had an exterminator come prior to your stay and he had put out some traps. You should have called and I would have removed the rodent. Since your stay we have eliminated the problem with the rodent... I'm sorry about your inconveniences with the property during your stay. We would like to offer you a 20% discount on your stay with us next year. Have a blessed day.

A group of us stayed over the weekend in the house at Isle of Palms. We were very pleased at the cleanliness of this home, not to be out done by the feeling of being at home. There is ample room for 12 people, and the loft upstairs is ideal for a "get away" from everyone else. Thank you for offering your home on VRBO, we will surely be back.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.
