  This location in the Tanglewood complex is a complete escape. It is an elegantly appointed condo complete with every amenity from a BBQ to a fantastic flat screen TV. However, we preferred the magnificent view to the park, beach and ocean. Visitors don't need to bring a thing! There are boogie boards, a fantastic box kite and sand shovels galore! The beds are wonderful pillow tops with cozy duvet covers. From board games to beach towels to a washer and dryer, this get away is a tranquil, beautifully appointed retreat!! And as a final treat...the late night views from the condo's main room large window, of the moon, and the moon reflecting off the ocean, are breathtaking!

  We had a wonderful and relaxing stay here last week. There is plenty of room for our family of four and the in-house amenities certainly exceeded our expectations. The views of the park and the water are beautiful and serene with a great feeling of privacy and seclusion. At the same time, it is just so very close to the beach! We have a 23 month-old and a 4 month-old so we really appreciated the one-minute walk to the waterfront-- lots of digging and swimming and kite-flying and just having a grand old time. The renting process was very easy and facilitated by a thoughtful, courteous, prompt and engaged property owner. Highly recommended.

  Our experience here has surpassed all expectations. The location is perfect - quiet yet convenient, with great walking opportunities. The condo is beautiful and Lisa has been extremely helpful. We will have no hesitation in returning for an extended stay.

  This suite was situated a short walk from the beach. The clear view of the ocean from the living room window was great. The surroundings were quiet and peaceful, accommodating our wish to relax and get some RnR. The location lent itself to walks in neighboring Rathtrevor Provincial Park as well as along the ocean front. The location is also central to other activities within a short driving distance. The suite itself was neat and tidy and well appointed, with all the amenities required for a wonderful week away from home. We highly recommend this getaway.

  Tanglewood 17 is a most wonderful property. It is immaculate and furnished with elegant comfort. You want to take great care of it, but not afraid to put your feet up!. The owner has furnished it with style and thoughtful details... Many evenings we had family card games at the dining room table. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms, spotless. The kitchen was completely equiped for any cooking adventure. The upstairs porch was a nice retreat, for my husband and myself, or for my teenagers, and perfect for viewing the stars at night. Rathtrevor beach is spectacular and we enjoyed many wonderful hours on the beach, and long walks. . Also very close to shopping. By the time we left, Tanglewood felt like it belonged to us!

  I stayed at this condo with my whole family - kids, mom, the whole bunch - and it was fantastic. The beach is literally seconds away and there is a trail that connects into the adjoining park literally just a few meters away. The place was clean and well-maintained and it's large enough that you don't feel like you are living on top of each other. The two decks on different levels is a huge perk. Getting out on a deck by yourself is a real treat in a family vacation. And it's close enough to amenities that you never have to go without something you need, but not so close that feel surrounded. We've stayed in Parksville several times over the years and we will be returning here, next time we visit.

  We stayed here last summer with our 4 children. This condo was a home away from home. It was a very well kept, very clean place to stay. The view out the front window was an incredible ocean view and we spent many moments in each day enjoying it. Lisa was a wonderful person to deal with, kind, patient and she made the process very smooth. I would absolutely recommend this condo to friends and family! Thank you so much Lisa!

  We totally enjoyed our month at Tanglewood on Rathtrevor Beach. The condo is very tastefully decorated, has lots of space, and is supplied with everything we needed to make the condo and the beach experience enjoyable. The most impressive aspect of the condo was the location that allowed a spectacular view of the beach as well as the park. The very short walk to the beach and the park also allowed for as much privacy or socializing as you decide you want. It was a great stay and we will return!
