Why the Owner Chose Sebastopol
I chose to buy this property because of it's beautiful, serene setting. This area is reminiscent of the hill and vineyard areas of France. We are centrally located for access to the beach (at Bodega Bay), Russian River, redwood groves, and the many vineyards in Sonoma County.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage
The benefits of being on this property are many. Our home and quest house are nestled in a very serene setting seemingly held by mature trees. The garden is spectacular, especially in the spring and summer. Many birds and animals frequent the property including but not limited to: woodpeckers, Great Horned Owls, Stellar Jays, chickadees, squirrels, deer, fox and others. Our setting creates a peaceful place where people can get away from the sress in their lives. They can go onto their deck and use the spa, sit on lounge chairs or sit a the small cafe table. They can have a cup of tea or coffee, while reading a good boon on one of the reclining chairs.
Awesome redwood park with several thousand year old trees. Lovely for a walk, hike and or picnicing.
Lovely town with fine restaurants and shops along Bodega Bay. Lots of hiking and walks at Doran and Salmon Creek beaches.

Lovely place with all the right touches. Great cookies and fresh flowers and just far enough away to seem secluded yet close enough to everything to adventure out for wine tasting or beach combing. Great bakery going towards Bodega called Wild Flour...really yum! Thanks Tiaga for a wonderful cottage and a peaceful serene place. Janet and Forrest

The cottage is excellent and set in a lovely location. Overlooking woodlands to the rear it is very peaceful and a great place to relax - especially in the hot tub! There were lots of nice personal touches - in particular the excellent cookies. Tiaga is a brilliant host and has thought of everything. The cottage is well equipped and very clean. Tiaga was on hand to give us some pointers about where to go and what to see which was really useful to get a 'locals' point of view. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone. It has a great quiet location but close enough to lots of places for day trips. Especially the numerous local vineyards. All in all a great cottage - thank you Tiaga.

Dearest Tiaga, Your warm hospitality and quaint cottage made this a remarkable trip for our anniversary celebration. Your little touches & warm smile and giving nature are so genuine & so rare these days. You have a special gift for making others feel welcomed. Our travels to Armstrong Woods, Sonoma & Napa wineries, San Francisco, Bodega Bay, drives along the coast & visits to the small country towns were all amazing! Thank you for taking time to give us pointers & suggestions - they were all great. We especially loved the food at Willowwood Market Cafte & Underwood Bistro! We will miss the sounds of the woodpeckers & rosters & will surely miss you@ Your bakery was the most special touch beside your enthusiasm & great smile. Miss you already! Bill & Gina Chicago, IL

This cottage was exactly what we were looking for: quiet, peaceful, beautifully decorated and in a great location. The owner was extremely helpful during our stay. She even let us borrow her personal picnic basket. She has thought of everything to make her guests feel comfortable (great shower products, fresh fruit, homemade cookies, snacks, bathrobes, slippers, dvd's, cd's and a book with all the information you need to know about the area). Do yourself a favor....stay here!!

Your cottage was a perfect "headquarters for our week of exploring the area. At the end of each day we looked forward to the comforts of "Our Home." Thanks so much for your hospitality and nice little extras like the cookies. I'm certain we'll be back for another stay in the furure.
