Spanish-style "Old Palm Springs" charm defines this home in the prestigious Canyon Country Club neighborhood in South Palm Springs ("the Canyon"). The neighborhood is known for its wide avenues, luxury homes both traditional and modern, and beautiful palm trees and gardens. Located near the corner of Caliente Road and Sierra Way.
This home was completely remodeled and professionally decorated in 2007. Privacy walls enclose 3 sides of the home which provides an in-door/out-door tranquility: large heated pool in the rear, Spanish-inspired front courtyard in the front with a large bubbling fountain that fills the entire home with soothing sounds, a large covered lanai off the kitchen with gas grill, and entry/exit doors from both master suites allowing easy and private access to the pool.
The interior decor is sophisticated yet welcoming and warm. Two master suites with full bath (one with California king bed and the other with a queen bed), one additional den/bedroom with 2 single beds.
High-end appliances, garbage disposal, icemaker, filtered water, instant hot water, and a soft water system (throughout the house). There are three dining areas in this home: eat in kitchen, formal dining area, and the outside lanai with gas grill.
You can experience complete privacy inside and outside as the home is surrounded by a privacy wall. The house sits on a very large lot (nearly 1/2 acre). Central air conditioning and heating, a gas fire place, outdoor misters by the pool, stereo system with built-in speakers in the living room and outside pool area.
Small dogs are OK if fully housebroken and non-chewers (refundable pet deposit required). Although kids are welcome, this house may not be suitable for very young extra-energetic youngsters.
