Booked until April, but please take a look at our other similar properties! Look for the link right above the photos--click on where it says "All my Rental Listings". We have a 2 bedroom, 1 bath home and two 4 bedroom, 3 bath houses all lakefront on this same lake. And we also have a 5 bedroom home with 2 baths in nearby Lake Harmony! Except for our 2 bedroom home (which is a bargain getaway), all of our homes have hot tubs, pool tables, gas fireplaces, and much more!
This is a beautiful, well laid out home featuring new furnishings and plenty of amenities. Relax either on the full deck or in the hot tub (on the downstairs patio)-both overlook the lake. The deck is very large, has a stainless gas grill and plenty of furniture, and is shaded from mid-afternoon on--it's the perfect place for dinner or relaxing with an evening cocktail in the warmer seasons! There is a ceramic tiled pool table room, a bass and paddle boat, and a large cleared yard for lawn games. And the house has central air, so you don't have to worry about booking during a heat wave! This house is across the lake (around the corner) from our 2 original properties---#354053 and #19519, so you can have a great set up for reunions or larger groups---you're all close together at one lake, but your group can have the privacy of separate houses! This well maintained lakefront home is only 30 minutes to the Mohegan Sun Casino at Pocono Downs, Jim Thorpe, the Outlets, and only about 10 miles from Jack Frost/Big Boulder, and the new H20 indoor water park at Split Rock. Only 7 miles from the PA Turnpike Pocono exit, too!
If you're planning a summer rental--don't wait too long! By spring, many of our weeks will be already blocked. A small deposit will hold your dates, and we are very easy to work with if you need to change your dates. Lakefront properties are the first to rent in the summer!
There are 3 bedrooms--each has a queen bed. The downstairs bedroom is the largest and in addition to the queen bed also has a futon (opens to a full bed), so this is a convenient set up for a family with young children (but maybe not for 4 couples!) There are also a sectional sofa set downsatirs and a sofa and love seat upstairs--if you don't want your children sleeping in your room.
There is an attractive propane log fireplace (so no lugging wood!) for cool weather ambiance. In the winter, you can ski in the daytime and relax in the hot tub looking out on the lake when you return. We are within 10 miles of JF/BB ski areas. Perfect home for a romantic getaway. We also have mid-week specials (except in summer)!
This home is also very conveniently set up for those who have difficulty with steps, so you can bring the grandparents(you'll need them to watch the kids when you go to the casino!) There are only 3 steps to the 1st floor, which has 2 bedrooms (one with a sliding glass door which directly faces the lake). There is also a full bathroom and central living area (kitchen, dining room, living room) on that floor, and another sliding glass door to the deck, so they will have no problems getting around. We tend to stay at this property when we're in the area, so the TV has upgraded Cable with 30 digital music channels. We have broadband internet access, too, so you can bring your laptop to check your emails, work info, etc.
The deck itself is the full length of the house, with a table for 8, the gas grill, and another couple of outdoor chairs and side table, and it is still roomy! There are also stairs down from the deck to the lake, which has great fishing and non-motorized boating. Every who fishes raves about how well the lake is stocked (large mouth bass, sunnies)--even my wife has easily caught fish!
There is a 6 person hot tub outside on the covered downstairs patio, so you can use it regardless of the weather. It's a great place to relax after a day on the slopes, and you can look at a lake instead of a neighboring home! There is a full size pool table in the downstairs family room for your group to enjoy, too.
This house is not as isolated as our other 2 lakefronts, so if you have a louder group or one that stays up later, we recommend #35043 or #19519. Look for the direct link on this page to our other properties.
We have a fully refundable $85 cleaning fee. If you leave the house as clean as you received it, there is no cleaning charge.

We spend time at the house in October, for a weekend. Had such a good time that wished to book for a longer period. House in very good condition, so was an outdoor jacuzzi. Had good fishing at the lake. Love your DVD library. Very conviniently located just a few minutes off Rt 80. Thank you very much for renting your house to us

We brought my mother (who is in a nursing home) and father here for a weekend so they could have a mini vacation together for their 60th anniversary. Everything worked out great. You can see the lake from almost every room and Mom was so happy to sit on the deck and take in the view. We went to the Powerhouse, a pretty fancy restaurant nearby which was handicapped accessible, did a sightseeing drive through Jim Thorpe and went to the Mohegan Sun Casino. It was a real pleasure to see my parents having such a good time again. The first floor was very easy for Mom & Dad to navigate with an open kitchen and large bathroom. Their bedroom faced the lake which they loved. The furniture was comfortable & everything was clean and in very good condition. The owners have elderly parents so they were helpful with suggestions and recommendations. My only regret is that my husband and I didn’t even have enough time to try out the hot tub. Maybe next time! Thanks for everything. We had a great time.

Four of us stayed here for a girls’ weekend in January---everything was great! The house is bright and sunny with a great views of the lake. You can see the lake from almost every room. The entire house was very clean, comfortable and well kept. We don’t ski, so we stayed in most of the time ~ we played pool, went in the hot tub, watched the deer by the lake, and saw a few movies (great collection!). The owner was friendly and easy to work with. We will definately be back next year and two of us plan to come back with our families in the summer.
