Beautiful, well laid out home featuring new furnishings and plenty of amenities. Relax either on the full deck or the in the hot tub (on the downstairs patio) --both overlook the lake. There is a ceramic tiled pool table room, a bass and paddle boat, and a large cleared yard for lawn games. Across the lake (or around the corner) from our other 2 properties---#19004 and #19519, so paddle over to see your friends. Great set up for reunions or larger groups---you're all close together at one lake, but can have the privacy of separate houses! This well maintained lakefront home is only 30 minutes to the Mohegan Sun Casino at Pocono Downs, too.
The house has CENTRAL AIR for your summertime comfort and an attractive propane log fireplace (so no lugging wood!)for winter ambiance. Sorry, no young party groups and no proms.
Very accessible to both Big Boulder and Jack Frost - only ten miles away, almost all on Routes 80 and 940 (no back road driving). Ski in the daytime and relax in the hot tub looking out on the lake when you return. Perfect home for a romantic getaway. We also have mid-week specials!
This home is also very conveniently set up for those who have difficulty with steps, so you can bring the grandparents(you'll need them to watch the kids when you go to the casino!) There are only 3 steps to the 1st floor, which has 2 bedrooms (one with a sliding glass door which directly faces the lake). There is also a full bathroom and central living area (kitchen, dining room, living room) on that floor, and another sliding glass door to the deck, so they will have no problems getting around. We tend to stay at this property when we're in the area, so the TV has upgraded Cable--HBO, Starz, Encore, and 30 digital music channels, too.
The deck itself is the full length of the house, with a table for 8, the gas grill, and another couple of outdoor chairs and side table, and it is still roomy! There are also stairs down from the deck to the lake, which has great fishing and non-motorized boating. You also have your own paddle boat, fishing boat (with lifejackets), and dock.
This house is not as isolated as our other 2 lakefronts, so if you have a louder group or one that stays up later, we recommend #19004 or #19519.
We have a fully refundable $85 cleaning fee. If you leave the house as clean as you received it, there is no cleaning charge.
Our highest season is the summer, which is from about the 2nd week in June until Labor Day Weekend. Summer is the only time that we ONLY rent for full weeks (from Friday 3PM to Friday 12 Noon). Sometimes we will take just a weekend or mid-week for the last week of August (because school starts), so email to check if you are interested in that time. After Labor Day, off season prices begin for the fall, and there is no minimum rental period.
Also, we give discounts for last minute reservations!
