Thank you Jackie for allowing us to stay in your wonderful condo in Ft. Walton Beach. Our family of 4 had an excellent time at Pelican 606! The listing pictures are exactly what you see when you enter this great condo. The unit was extremely clean, comfortable, and a great place to crash after a day at the pool or beach. Great restaurants are just a short walk away. There are also many things to do in the area such as Ft. Pickens, The Blue Angels, the Naval Air Museum, and the Air Force Armament Museum, not to mention just chillin on the beach or by the pool! Thank you so much Jackie for such a great experience beginning with the VRBO listing, completely through the stay! I also appreciated the personal phone call on the day we arrived making sure we were settled into the unit and everything was clean and ready for our stay. The boys have already declared this a "must return" destination and I have also already sent out a link to your condo to family and friends! WONDERFUL!!

We had an amazing stay at this condo. It was perfect for our family of 4. The bunkbed area has a curtain and with the flat screen TV our boys had their own place. The condo was comfortable and had all our kitchen needs. The boys loved the lazy river and it was so nice to be able to walk to some great restaurants. This was our second stay at Destin West, our first time was on the gulfside but we plan on renting this same unit again because of how great the unit was and our kids loved the lazy river so it was nice to just go down and let them swim!! Also Jackie was so wonderful, great communication with everything!!

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Our family had a wonderful time in Destin. Jackie's condo is beautiful, clean, warm & inviting. Beach chairs and pool toys for the little ones were even available to use. The king sized bed is so comfortable and my son loved the bunk room! It's centrally located so access to the lazy river and beach is easy. The balcony overlooks the lazy river pool area, so keeping an eye on my 13 year old was easy even when I wasn't down in the pool area myself. Access to the beach was an easy, short walk, especially with the cross way over the highway. Also easy access to both Fort Walton and Destin. Jackie was very easy to work with and a contentious owner. I would definitely rent from her again! Thanks Jackie for providing beautiful accomodations!

We had a wonderful time and your condo and the resort was amazing! You had all the comforts of home and our kids wanted to stay in and play as much as they did want to swim. It has a wonderful view and easy access to everything. We felt like we were right at home. You have been so sweet with everything and so helpful with our last minute reservations. It really helped put my mind at ease after we talked the first time. I am certainly going to keep your information as we are already talking about our next trip and would love to stay at Destin West again. There really was no comparison to anything we saw while we were down there. Thanks again for all of your help and allowing us to build memories that will last a lifetime!!

This is a great place to stay. The condo offers more than enough room for a family of 5 or 6. Our girls LOVED the bunk room and the flat screen on the wall made them happy! The condo looks just like the pictures. The bay view is great. The property if very well maintained. The pools and lazy river are the best. The kids activities in the summer are an added plus. There are lots of great places to eat by walking down the beach a ways. This is now our favorite vacation spot. The most relaxing vacation. Jackie is great to work with and we look forward to coming back again.

What a great vacation! We loved the huge bedroom and the bunkroom with full bath and flat screen tv was a lifesaver. The view from the balcony was pretty and would be excellent for watching older kids play in the lazy river, pool and hot tub. I was really pleased with the overall complex, the landscaping and layout were nice & everything was clean. Fantastic place for kids of all ages. Jackie was great to rent from as well, the maid returned my daughter's cell she left behind by mail, thanks!

This is the 2nd year we have stayed at one of Jackie's rentals. Last year ground floor beach side, this stay was at Pelican 606. Both are GREAT! We loved the view from 606 and the proximity to the Lazy River and pools was very handy, especially if you have little ones. There is plenty of actity on the Bay Side to keep your eyes on the bay. We loved watching for the dolphins from the balcony, which we saw plenty. The accomodations are very comfortable and love that master bed.
