On our fourth visit to Maui we stayed at this gem of a condo and it was better than any of the top resorts on the island! This condo has it all: a fantastic location; spectacular views; all the comforts of home; lots of space; privacy; and peace and quiet when you wanted it. Without lifting my head off my pillow in the morning, I could see the slopes of the volcano, upcountry, lavish villas, the fabulous beach, and the ocean. The beach is wide, clean, and not crowded, and the best snorkelling on the island is right outside the building. What more could you ask for? We rented the two bedroom unit for ourselves and our two adult children. The condo was immaculately clean, beautifully furnished, and fully equiped. The kids had their own bathroom, tv, and mini-fridge, as well as lots of stroage space for their things. Our bathroom had recently been redone and it was beautiful. While we ate out virtually every night, we had our breakfasts on the lanai every morning, and it was a perfect way to start the day. The little convenience store on the main floor was another bonus that allowed us to pick up snacks and sundries without havig to leave the property. We also had wonderful dinners at the restaurant on the property on two occasions. We enjoyed our vacation at this condo so much that we have already booked a return visit, but this time we will be staying for two weeks. I'm already counting down the days!

We stayed at this condo in April/May. The unit was two bedroom, two bath with full kitchen. The living area is very well furnished, the kitchen fully stocked with everything needed. The two baths were very clean and plenty of towels. The view from this condo is absolutley breathtaking! You can hear the waves from the lanai. We have stayed at other condos at the Mana Kai and found this one to be the best. We have also stayed at other resorts in the area and still come back to the Mana Kai. The pool and grass area are very nice with plenty of lawn chairs. The access to the beach couldn't be any easier. There is a deli/store for anything forgotten or light meals.

We love this condo. We come here every year, and each time we arrive, the unit is spotlessly clean and has new upgrades and improvements. You really cannot appreciate how lovely this condo is by looking at the Internet photos. The luxury is in the details. The property owners are wonderful to deal with – professional, thoughtful, and generous. We always feel like cherished family friends when we stay in this unit, rather than rental customers. We love watching the whales from the lanai and walking to dinner at nearby restaurants. And we especially love being only footsteps away from Keawakapu beach. We’ve been coming to Maui for over 40 years, and unit 807 at the Mana Kai is absolutely our favorite condo experience. We would rather rearrange our travel schedule than book a different unit. I hope you will enjoy staying there as much as we do!

We thoroughly enjoyed this Mana Kai condo. The location and beach were fantastic. The pictures represent the condo and the view from the condo well. And speaking of view, we were able to watch the whales breach while we sat out on the lanai! The condo was very comfortable and clean. The decor was tasteful and felt like home. They had anticipated our needs so we did not have to go out and buy a bunch of cooking items or linens. They even had coolers, beach mats, beach chairs and beach toys. The condo was peaceful, we were never disturbed by those staying in neighboring condos. The only negative in our stay at the condo was that we had to go home!

The arrangements for arrival made it easy for our tired group. The owner sent instructions to us in advance and we walked right in even though we arrived very late. We were greeted by a lovely note along with a fruit basket. The condo is thoughtfully furnished, containing good quality kitchen equipment and plenty of it. This condo is located on the edge of Wailea which I consider the most beautiful part of the island unless you prefer the isolation of Hana. There are wonderful restaurants within walking distance and nearby shopping opportunities. We loved the view and the ability to watch whales from the lanai. I was pleasantly surprised by the laundry facilities which are just out the door of this unit. Not having a washer in the unit was the one reservation that I had. The laundry room was clean and handy and I never had to wait to use it. The front desk was able to answer whatever question we asked. The parking space reserved was the closest to the door to the building. There is a convenience store in the building that carries food and items you may have forgotten. The pool is nice and what a great beach! You can walk all the way down to the Kea Lani. The big hotels provide good places to stop in for breakfast as you walk. Traveling to the island's other attractions is easy from this location either by driving through Kihei or by quickly accessing the Piilani Highway. This is an experience you won't want to miss.!

We are a family of 5 people and stayed for two weeks in Mana Kaui Maui in December 2009. The apartment functioned very well for us and we had excellent time there. The ocean view from the apartment is fantastic and it is possible to watch sunset from the lanai of Mana Kai Maui #807. The beach in front of the condo building is one of the best in south west Maui and you can see various fishes and even turtles when snorkling there. There is also a high class restaurant in the ground floor of condo building.

We have been to the Mana Kai Maui-Top Floor condo, #807, several times. The condo is beautifully renovated, fully stocked with all the beach gear and all the amenities for a relaxing stay, and the condo is managed by John J who goes beyond to make your stay perfect. Great place for families when renting both units. You are an elevator ride away from the most beautiful beach, great snorkeling where turtles play, a yummy restaurant with great happy hour deals, a nice kid friendly pool, and a general store with Hawaiian treats. We love this place and hope to go back for many years to come with our family.

"Honeymoon in PARADISE! Awesome" We spent 7 days here for our honeymoon. This condo is absoultely amazing. Excellent view off the lanai of Molokini Crater. Ocean waves and breeze put us to sleep every night. Close to scuba diving, luau, and shopping at Mariott Resort. Dinner at the Five Palms resturant in the lower level was perfect! Beach equipment supplied as well as a cooler for road to Hana. Laundry for the top floor is right outside of condo in the hall. Parking spot for this condo is directly in front of the lobby entrance which proved helpful for carrying groceries. Close proximity to ocean front strip for shopping. Grocery store is only a few minutes down the road. Do not hesitate, book this condo NOW!

We spent 6 nights in October 2009 in this beautiful condo. The condo (top floor unit) offers great ocean view, especially from the lanai. The sunsets were spectacular! The condo is very quiet at night (you only hear the ocean) and we slept very well. Also, the grounds of the Mana Kai are great and well maintained and you have direct access to the beach. This condo is definitely our Nr. 1 choice on Maui!!!

My husband and I spent the most relaxing 10 days on the top of the world at the Mana Kai! The condo was well laid out, beautifully decorated and had all the amenities needed to have a great stay. The store on site was well stocked so we didn't have to leave paradise if we didn't want to! When we weren't out enjoying the beach or town, we were on the balcony drinking in the gorgeous view. The Mana Kai's grounds and pool were immaculate and we had easy, immediate access to the beach. The sunsets each night were spectacular! We simply can't wait to get back to the little piece of heaven that is #807 Mana Kai Maui!

Aloha, The Mana Kai Maui Resort had been highly recommended to me for several years from family members and friends. I had the lucky opportunity to stay at John's top floor home; and let me tell you, this is the place to stay! This condo is beautifully and comfortably furnished with an incredible unobstructed view of Molokini and miles of the most unpopulated beach in Hawaii. You can sit on the lanai and enjoy breakfast while overlooking Maui's best view because you are litreally just above the beach. The Mana Kai is home to the Five Palms restaurant, a 5 star dining experience with a fabulous menu. It also has a great little grocery store next to the lobby that provides almost everything you need if you decide to never leave. I have stayed in several other places in the Kihei/Wailea area throught the years but I have to say that John's place at the Mana Kai is by far my favorite!

Our stay in Unit 807 in Mana Kai Maui was wonderful. It had the most spectacular sunset view. We were able to enjoy wonderful morning walks on the best beaches on Maui. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The owner provided many helpful recommendations and a delicious fruit basket. We felt so welcomed and hope to return soon.

"Paradise vacation with the comfort of home right there!" I stayed in John's wonderful condo home on Maui and didn't ever want to go home. You couldn't get closer to the beautiful beach than there. Just go down to the lobby and step out on a beach that goes on for miles. This was the 2nd time I stayed there and brought my kids this time. They couldn't get over the fact that you look out over this beautiful beach from your balcony. My son loved the snorkeling right out in front. Every convience is in this condo as well as a small store and great restaurant downstairs. I liked best the fact that when you wake up in the morning you can hear the birds, the surf and look out a wall of windows at the palm trees, beach and other islands of Hawaii from your bed. The only thing I liked least is the fact that you must drive to the store for groceries. Oh well!
