Ocean View Lodge has been like a magnet in attracting our friends and family to get together here since 1997, and is located in Sand Dollar Beach on Monterey Bay, 10 miles south of Santa Cruz off Highway 1 at 495 Sea Horse Drive, La Selva Beach, California, Ocean View Lodge is a beautiful two-story dramatic ocean view home with accommodations for 8 guests. Upstairs is the living room, dining room, kitchen, piano, guest bath, and master bedroom w/bath including a freestanding whirlpool tub. Off the living room is a deck with expansive ocean and garden views, outdoor seating and a barbeque. This home has a fully equipped kitchen with GE Profile built-in microwave and oven, Kenmore refrigerator-freezer, toaster, dishwasher, disposal, trash compactor and coffee maker. The lower level features 3 additional bedrooms, full bath, clothes washer & dryer, plus a 1 car garage. There is a king sized bed in the master bedroom, 2 extra long twins in 2nd bedroom, 1 king in 3rd bedroom and 2 extra long twins in 4th bedroom. Ocean View Lodge DOES provide towels and linens. However, SMOKING AND PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED.
Amenities: 3 televisions, 2 VCR's, 2 DVD players, Comcast TV cable, dishwasher, barbeque, microwave, two fireplaces, washer & dryer, 1 car garage, piano, beach chairs, 4 bicycles, lots of indoor games, DSL internet connection.
Policies: After making a reservation, guests have ten (10) days to send in the Deposit. Failure to make this payment may result in cancellation. The balance of the rental is due at least sixty (60) days prior to arrival.
Cancellations: Should you wish to cancel this reservation, notice must be received more than 60 days prior to your arrival date, in writing, or you will forfeit all rental sums paid, unless we re-rent the property. A $50.00 cancellation fee will be charged.
Payment arrangement: Include personal check with signed reservation confirmation, which will be emailed to you.
Check in after 3:00 pm and check out before 11:00 am. Rentals are weekly only in the SUMMER SEASON (From Saturday to Saturday).

Why the Owner Chose La Selva Beach
Ocean View Lodge is conveniently located just 90 minutes from our home in the East Bay Area, and we wanted a place where we could see sun sets over the water, as well as enjoy being on the sand nearby, surfing and watching our grown children with their kids enjoying the same.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Riding a beach bike along the breakers during low tides when the sand is firm, and it's amazing how far you can ride in either direction from Capitola to Moss Landing, then return by the back roads on Pacific Coast Bike Trails.
