Beautiful home. Immaculate with everything that you need. Very comfortable for 8 people with the cabana serving as it's own apartment. The views from the deck are breathtaking; sunrise and sunset particularly beautiful. It was too cold in November to use the pool, but it was beautiful. The putting green was a good diversion for the golfers. Highly recommend this property and hope to visit again during a warmer time of year.

We were a party of 4 couples in our 40s and early 50's. Stayed here 3 nights. BEAUTIFUL home in a great location. Immaculate and very comfortable. Bed in master bedroom was awesome.Tons of space. Views are fantastic. Only wish we had time for a few extra days of just enjoying the house and deck....Very nice property!

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at Villa Tuscana! It has all of the comforts of home. We weren't sure what to expect, but found everything we needed. It was spacious and clean, and everything was in good working order. The decor is beautiful and makes you feel "right at home." The location is both beautiful and convenient to all of the wineries. There is so much to see and do, but you have to make time to enjoy this wonderful home! I would definitely stay there again if I had the opportunity.

This was our second time staying at this home. We came back because of the location, amenities and the view from the fabulous deck. Great for 2 or 3 couples wanting to tour the wine country. Beautiful layout, great kitchen and as I said, a killer back deck. If your rental party is large enough, the guest house off the pool is very cozy and private. We would, and have, recommended this place to friends.

We rented this home for a girls getaway and 40th birthday celebration (8 adults) as a home base for a long weekend of wine tasting in Napa and Sonoma. Villa Tuscana was everything we imagined and more! Spacious, well maintained, comfortable, beautifully decorated. A perfect "home away from home." We didn't want to leave! The house is in a great location -- close to everything but also very quiet and private. I only wish we had more time to just hang out at the house and enjoy the pool and the beautiful views. The owners were also very responsive, accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend this property!

this was a great place to bring our family group together/except for the arm wrestling on who got the cabana !!! the pool and spas made for perfect goofing off time with our "kids". the house has a real warm and inviting mood for gathering around the tv or the piano or a game in the dining room not to forget the great deck area. the drive to napa valley was also a pleasure and santa rosa has a lot of local finds; think russian river area !! the home is well.. . a home, not a hotel and a great value. views, deer, birds, privacy,...doesn't get any better !!

A group of 6 very close and dear friends joined my wife and I at the Villa Tuscana for my 60th Birthday, what a present and what a weekend. The pictures and description of the property are only enhanced when you get there. Sitting up on a very private hill, quiet, beautiful retreat. The house was very clean and well maintained, a little to cold to enjoy the pool and decks but they were very tempting. From the more than spacious Master Bedroom to the Casitas everything was exceptional. The home is beautiful and spacious we cannot wait to go back. Cathy was amazing to deal with and scheduling and working out all the details went without a hitch. All eight of us did not want to leave. Close to all the favorite wineries and easily accessible to where ever you want to go. Never went out to dinner it was too much fun at the house and a joy to fix our meals in the beautiful kitchen and BBQ on the deck. We will be going back with family or friends, a return visit is a must. I cannot recommend it enough.. I hope you enjoy the home as much as we did.

We just returned home from a wonderful stay at this property! The beds are "comfy", the family room a great gathering place, the kitchen well stocked...Best of all this home is close to the freeway( without the noise) and close to Santa Rosa (10 -15 min from Healdsburg)! If we needed groceries we were 5 minutes away...Property is VERY well maintained and the view "delicious" even in November!!!! I was ill when I booked this for my husband's 60th birthday celebration and worried that I made a hasty decision, BUT it was worth every penny! (All our guests agreed!) Everything was in working order and the host/hostess gave many good suggestions in a compiled book about the area!

Villa Tuscana is a gorgeous property. The house is on a hill away from traffic and people - a perfect get-away - and yet close enough to Santa Rosa, Healdsburg, Sonoma, Calistoga and Napa for visiting wineries and shopping. We stayed for five nights (four days) visiting ten wineries and five restaurants. We were impressed by the comfortable and beautiful furniture in both the house and cabana. We also enjoyed the tasteful decor and all the wonderful amenities provided. With four couples in our group, it is somewhat difficult to find a home that has the privacy we all like. This home suited our needs perfectly. Each couple had a private bath and bedroom. The master bedroom and the cabana were like mini homes in themselves. We had a couple of rainy cool days with fog in the morning (we were above the fog line!). The view from the house and the deck and the pool was absolutely spectacular. The kitchen is well-equipped and nicely laid out so that multiple people could cook at the same time. We enjoyed all of our breakfasts and several of our dinners at the house. The wireless computer access was a definite plus. Cathy was very professional in all of our dealings. She provided all of the needed information ahead of time and was extremely organized with a “Welcome” notebook. We had a spectacular time and would recommend Villa Tuscana to anyone.

Rented Villa Tuscana for a surprise 50th birthday trip . This was truly An Affair to Remember! As so many have said before, the pictures of the house DO NOT do justice to the house itself. The house is completely stocked with EVERYTHING you could possibly ever need. If relaxation is what you seek just hang by the infinity pool, the view never gets old. It is totally private and quiet yet centrally located to many different wine regions, Calistoga ( 30 mins), Napa (60 mins), Healdsburg (30 ish mins).... We did the Murder Mystery Wine Train one evening which was certainly a highlight. If non stop action is your thing in a vacation this is a perfect place to rest your head in the evening and if waking and having coffee by the pool and a more leisurely pace is what your group seeks then this is also the perfect place . We have already discussed many return trips and this will be the place we stay again, well worth every penny! Cathy was very welcoming and extremely organized making the "details" a breeze. Treat yourself, you're worth it and you won't be sorry!

It was wonderful. We loved the master bedroom and fireplace as the weather was a bit chilly so it was nice and toasty! Lovely views in the morning and beauiful sunsets at night. The cabana hosue was perfect for our newly engaged daughter and her fiance! The kitchen was extremely well stocked and the hosue was very clean. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

WOW! I was hoping that the pictures of the house were accurate and was amazed that the pictures do not do the house, amentities and view justice, It is great when you can experience a place that exceeds your expectations. We had a surprise party for my wife at the house and it was simply a wonderful experience. All of us agreed that we need to make this an annual event at Villa Tuscana, we never left the pool, hot tubs and house for the entire weekend. We had everything required to relax, be comfortable and really enjoy an amazing weekend. I cannot say enough about the house, location and view, we are definitely going back!

I rented the Villa Tuscana for a college reunion weekend with a few girlfriends and their spouses. We truly enjoyed the house and the property is beautiful. The weather did not allow us to use the pool or spa, but we did make use of the BBQ, the hot tub, and the fireplace. The views, despite the nasty weather, were still gorgeous as was the interior decor of the house. It is polished, yet comfortable with plenty of space for everyone. I chose this property based on the 20+ reviews already listed above and I do not regret the decision. The reviews were all correct and our experience was no different. We truly wished that we could have stayed longer than the ~3 days, 2 nights and would definitely consider this property again in the future.

I haven't read the previous reviews. However, my family just returned from a long weekend in California and we had the pleasure of finding and renting this property. It was wonderfully clean, breathtakingly beautiful, quiet and restful. When we walked in through the front entrance, it took our breaths away. The pool and deck afforded an amazing view where we enjoyed casual sunsets with plenty of laughter. We ate out locally, visited several nearby vinyards, shared a cooked meal. The kitchen and living area were fully stocked. There was wireless computer access and a big flatscreen television. There were eight of us and we did not feel at all cramped, the place was so spacious. The bedrooms were nicely outfitted and the beds/pillows were fresh with excellent mattresses. The evenings were very quiet, cool and open window sleeping was not a problem - no traffic noise, no noisey neighbors. Very quiet. We found a local market just a short distance from the house with excellent fresh produce, locally grown and all natural. Getting to the house was easy. About 60 min drive, from SFO. We had excellent directions and the address was on our GPS systems. The hosts were always responsive and very customer freindly. In all, a wonderful property, well worth the rent, highly recommended.

When we walked into Villa Tuscana our first impression was... Wow!! We have rented vacation homes before and never has the actual residence been so much more than the pictures show. We were so impressed by the tasteful decor and all the wonderful amenities provided. With four couples in our group, it is somewhat difficult to find a home that has the privacy we all like. This home suited our needs perfectly. Each couple had a private bath and bedroom. The master bedroom and the cabana were like mini homes in themselves. We all enjoy cooking, so three of the four nights we stayed, we made dinner at home and enjoyed the wonderful wines we discovered during the days wine tours. Thank you Cathy for sharing this wonderful home with us. We had a spectacular time and would recommend your vacation rental to anyone.

This is one beautiful home! We stayed for three nights during "Crush" in the wine country, and we couldn't have picked a bettter place. The house itself is wonderful, but the pool area, decks and views make it extraordinary. Cathy was a pleasure to work with - honest and trustworthy. We had three couples and were perfectly comfortable in the main house. The Cabana looks great too. This property truly deserves 5 stars!

The house is gorgeous, and the furniture is very comfortable, as well as beautiful. The view from the house and the deck and the pool was absolutely spectacular. Staying there was so relaxing and rejuvenating that we did not want to leave the house at all the entire time we were up there! The kitchen is generally sufficiently well-equipped. It was nicely set out so that it was comfortable for multiple people to cook at the same time. The house is on a hill away from traffic and people - a perfect get-away - and yet close enough to Santa Rosa, Healdsburg, and other cities for us to pick up groceries, go the the Farmer's Markets, and go to dinner, when we could bear to leave the house. At the end of our stay, if someone else weren't coming, we would have asked to stay longer!

Our stay at Villa Tuscana was fantastic. The home is beautifully furnished and comfortable. The pool area has the most gorgeous view during the day and at sunset - and the infinity pool adds to that view. The other deck is more rustic and has a lovely covered sitting area close to the house and several sitting areas out in the open air. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are extremely comfortable. We cooked breakfast each morning - left for some wineries and sight seeing - and cooked each evening when we returned. It was one of our top rated vacations - if not the tops! We thank Cathy for all of her help and patience with us.

One word "Unbelievable". Planned a trip with friends and it couldn't have worked out better. The accomodations were excellent, house large enough to get away for private time, and the pool area was great in the afternoon after a day at the wineries. Enjoying the view in the morning with coffee and/or a glass of wine in the afternoon was so relaxing and took all the stress away. The house was very clean, well maintained and had everything you could ask for. Cathy was great to work with, every question was answered and gave us some great recommendations. We hated to leave, and would visit again in a heartbeat.

What a place! We loved every moment at Villa Tuscana. Nervously setting up a trip for a group? I just set this one up for 4 couples. Top priority was finding a beautiful house that met the standards of everyone’s own homes, plus some. Another big concern was having sufficient bathrooms so the couple’s wouldn’t have to share. Bedrooms- no couple wanted to sleep in a full size bed, and I wanted the rooms to have some privacy. We also needed a dining room table that everyone could sit at comfortably, and we wanted a family room with a nice television. Also important was an outside area everyone could enjoy. That is a lot to wish for. Unbelievably, I found it all! When we arrived, we were all overwhelmed when we walked in the door. Everyone asked the same question, “Why would anyone rent out such a beautiful and extravagant house?” This is not a typical rental house, it’s a true home with every comfort you could ask for, and decorated with elegance and taste. As it turned out, every couple had their own bathroom; one of the bathrooms didn’t even get used. The cabana and master bedroom are so private; it makes it very comfortable for couples, and the two other bedrooms were large enough and very nice. The kitchen was big enough to fit many cheerful chefs, and the dining room table fit all 8 of us very cozy. The ceiling is painted like the sky, and the music system can be turned on and off in every room of the house. The room sets a perfect mood to linger over meals and wine. In fact it was so comfortable, we cancelled dinner outings so we could stay in, and enjoy the house. There was plenty of room to find our own areas to do whatever we wanted. The TV in the family room was great; we could sit on the deck, or by the pool. But it seems the house attracted everyone into the gorgeous kitchen and open family room. Watching the hawks and birds off the deck, and the wild turkeys strolling around was peaceful. There's also a putting green the golfers in the group had fun with. The house is close to everything, winery’s, breweries, hiking, shopping... Cathy, you were gracious and accommodating, thank you for working with us so generously. Everything was better than we imagined. It is true; the pictures don’t do the house justice. The property is absolutely beautiful, we will be back!. My final words to the prospective renter, don’t pass this house up, you won't regret it. Your travelling group will be singing your praises, all thanks to your lovely host, Cathy

I've rented this place for New Year's Eve and found it to be the BEST of all places in Santa Rosa. I've been doing this for the past 8 years and this villa was my favorite. The owners are very friendly, professional and would pick up my calls anytime. They have even suggested me good places around. It's perfect place for family get together and to invite friends from outside California/USA to share the beauty of this Wine County. The view from Cabana was very romantic. Infinity pool, jacuzzi and integrated Bose audio for the entire villa are my best impressions. I would definitely rent this place again. Best wishes to Cathy and Dave ! Ravi

The Villa Tuscana was a one of a kind find. It is one of the most gorgeous properties I have ever seen. My family and I go on at least two vacations a year and have stayed all over the country; this was truly one of our favorites of all time (probably number 1). In most vacation homes I can usually find one or two things I would change, here, there is NOTHING to change, it’s perfect. Our family had an amazing time celebrating my parent’s 30th anniversary and my brother even got engaged. It was a very memorable trip and that was largely due to the Villa Tuscana. Cathy is also the easiest person to work with and provides everything you need. You really cannot beat the whole experience. We will definitely be back; I cannot say enough!

We will recommend Villa Tuscana to everyone we know headed to the wine country! The home was spacious and beautifully appointed! The views were absolutely awesome...we can't decide which was better: sitting in the morning with our coffee watching the fog lift or sitting out in the evening with our wine watching the incredible sunsets! Both are experiences not to be missed at Villa Tuscana! Oh, and I forgot to mention sitting under the stars in the hot tub and the fully stocked gourmet kichen and the whole house sound system and the putting green...the list goes on. Villa Tuscana is a magnificent residence...with spectacular views...morning, noon and night! All possible amenities are provided and the six of us who stayed there together considered ourselves spoiled and blessed. Wine and cheese by the pool or dinner on the deck during the magnificent evening sunsets made perfect endings to most of our 7 blissful days at Villa Tuscana. There's no better medicine for the soul! Villa Tuscana is also well situated as a great base of operation for visiting Sonoma and Napa...with immediate access to the Northern end of Sonoma Valley and very easy "over the top" access to Northern Napa Valley. As a for instance, we made the drive to catch the Wine Train in the town of Napa in about 45 minutes. In another 45 minutes or so you can be on the coast to see the mouth of the Russian River in Jenner...with historic Bodega Bay only a few minutes further South. All in all...we don't think it's possible to find a more wonderful respite than Villa Tuscana...and the owners, Cathy and Dave, could not have been more gracious or helpful in accommodating our planning and making our stay among our most memorable and most enjoyable vacations ever! We came to Villa Tuscana for the third and last week of our holiday. Having spent two weeks touring Yosemite Kings Canyon and a week in San Francisco we were ready for a rest and we could not have made a better choice. The house is absolutely stunning. Beautifully furnished and decorated and so so comfortable so much space inside and out we did not want to leave.Weather really warm for us North Englanders. Cooked most of our evening meals in the well supplied kitchen which has every conceivable gadget and the fresh herbs from the garden were a lovely addition. Ventured out to La Gare restaurant in Santa Rosa- one of our hosts' suggestions and it was excellent. We did visit Santa Rosa, Calistoga and Healdsberg and only one winery but we couldn't wait to get back "home". As the rest of our party had already returned to the UK we were just the two of us for that week so our holiday ended on a really relaxed mood. Thank you Cathy for thinking of everything that makes a holiday just perfect.

Our second time to Villa Tuscana in the last 6 months and we can't wait till we can come back! The gourmet kitchen is FULLY stocked and fabulous to cook in! So wine tasting by the day and incredible meals with friends at night (along with some of the wine we bought, of course!). Cooked out one night...the views are breathtaking! Everything is wonderfully decorated and clean! HIGHLY recommend a stay here for as long as you can!

We had the pleasure of staying at Villa Tuscana from 2/13-2/16 and could not have been happier. The Villa is absolutely perfect and the view is stunning. Cathy was great to deal with and answered all of our MANY questions about the Villa and Wine Country. Our entire group agreed that the Villa exceeded every expectation we had. We cannot wait to come back when the weather is a little more cooperative! Thank you again for your wonderful hospitality!

We spent Christmas week at Villa Tuscana and it was wonderful! We arrived to a decorated, 'live,' beautiful Christmas tree! Flying in to Santa Rosa direct from Seattle (easy 2 hrs) and our CA family drove from the Delta area ~ what a great house! Pictures just give you a taste of what's in store ~ The property was top notch! We spent a fabulous week together ~ cooking (everything you could possibly think of was in the kitchen),sipping, playing cards, worked on a 1,000 piece puzzle ALL WEEK, flew in dungeness crab from Seattle, walks to visit the neighbors horse farm, laughing, sleeping in,fun contests w/ our niece on her new Wii game, movies, comedy, hot tubs and ONE day of sunshine ;-) which was spent around the pool on the AWESOME chaise lounges which come complete w/ cushy blankets - simply great! We hope to come back when we can really use the pool. There were 8 of us and we rented both cabana and house - it was PERFECT!More than enough room and we are picky! :-)We loved the views of the valley and those great trees off of the deck - I must have 50 photo's of them. Thank you, Cathy! We'll be back.

As we drove up to the house, we couldn't believe that this was where we were really staying! It is beautiful on the outside and the inside didn't disappoint either. It was perfect for us - 3 couples - and had lots of outdoor space on two separate decks. We didn't rent the cabana, but it looked just as gorgeous. The kitchen is fully equipped and we enjoyed meals at the kitchen counter, on the deck and in the formal dining room. Our rooms were very comfortable and the master suite is unbelievably beautiful. This is the third house we've rented in CA wine country (in this same price range) and is by far the best one. We'd definitely recommend it to others and return ourselves.

Absolutely stunning! We will definitely become return visitors of this amazing villa. Wonderful surroundings, quiet neighborhood and the view....we saw hot air ballons in the distance and enjoyed the massive deck and overall comfort of the home. Homeowners were wonderful to work with and everything was perfect! Thanks!

I simply don't have enough good things to say about this property. The main house, cabana, pool area, and large deck are absolutely gorgeous, and all offer stunning views. Our party of 7 had more than enough space. The pictures don't come close to doing the property justice. 10 out of 10.

Villa Tuscana is a fantastic wine country retreat! Our 3-generation party thoroughly enjoyed our 9-night stay. The floor plan is congenial for 2 couples (3 if you rent the cabana as well) or a family with children, with ample room to spread out. This beautiful house is secluded on a ridge with great views of Santa Rosa and the Russian River Valley. In spite of the seclusion there is easy access to Healdsburg, Santa Rosa and Windsor for groceries, wineries, farmers markets and other shopping. The kitchen is well equipped for serious cooking – and since both the inside and outside are well appointed, we enjoyed the fruits of our labors on the deck, by the pool, and in the elegant dining room. The property is well-designed for outdoor living, a nice surprise that we hadn’t anticipated before experiencing it. Lounging by the pool or on the very large deck we enjoyed leisurely meals, lovely sunsets, brilliant stars, and even saw a hot air balloon hovering over the next ridge one morning! We all loved this house and will definitely consider returning.

The photographs do not do this lovely home justice, but in some ways it made for a more lovely surprise upon arrival. Well appointed, beautifully decorated, yet comfortable and very private. The owners are very helpful and accommodating. It would be nice if there were somewhere to call to pre-arrange basic grocery delivery.

My friends and I had a great time at this place. It's even more spacious than I expected from the web description - the master suite would be a huge apartment in town on it's own, and offers exceptional privacy. Everyone had plenty of space to spread out. The pool and terrace were perfect. The view was lovely -- you are only a few miles from the 101 freeway and most any urban convenience is within 15 minutes' drive, but when you are up at the house and gaze out over the Russian River Valley all that seems very far away and the few neighboring properties are well out of sight. The quality of fittings and furnishings is first rate -- plush chaise lounges outside on the sprawling decks, up to the minute electronics and kitchen equipment inside. The house is within easy reach of all of Wine Country's restaurants and attractions -- Calistoga and the north end of Napa Valley are as easy to get as the charming town of Healdsburg, and there are dozens of great restaurants within a half-hour's drive. We hated to leave.

Our three generations stayed in the beautiful Villa Tuscana on a semi rainy weekend and we could not have asked for any lovlier accomodations. The house sits on a hill far enough from other homes to feel as though we were in our own little world. We thoroughly enjoyed the views as well as the the relaxing moments on the peaceful and well furnished patio. The home's interior was beautifully decorated with designer touches and made comfortable with lovely linens and towels. We prepared several meals in the very well appointed kitchen, with each of of us having plenty of room to participate. The photos of the home are good, but do not do the reality justice. During our stay we enjoyed wine tasting and hiking in nearby areas. We will stay here again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this gracious home.

What a wonderful place to stay! The pictures do not do it justice. We literally spent the first few hours walking around with our jaws dropped saying, "I can't believe we're staying here!" We really felt like we were in a luxurious villa in Tuscany. An easy drive to Calistoga for lunch and wine tasting, but really it was hard to leave this gorgeous home even for an afternoon! This would be a wonderful place for a multi-family vacation or (as in our case) a girls' weekend away. The owners were very easy to deal with and very accommodating--we were only disappointed that we didn't get a chance to meet face to face. We will definitely stay here again!

You really can convince yourself that you are on a hillside in Tuscany. As you float in the infinity pool under pristine blue skies, or lounge on the cloud-like loungers under the stars. Larger than the pictures can possibly convey, well appointed kitchen and top of the line linens, a master bath that will make your jaw drop, and kind and attentive owners who are available by phone for any questions during your stay--who could ask for more? We can't wait to stay here again.
