Located between Akumal and Tulum, along Mexico's Riviera Maya one hour and 15 minutes south of Cancun. A great place to enjoy beach living. Easy and comfortable, Casa Cavu is located along the white sand beach of Tankah Tres. 1 Sea Kayak, 1 canoe, beach side swimming pool with umbrellas and nice hammocks mean that you can spend days "just hanging out" in this lovely villa and never have to put on shoes.
The second largest barrier reef in the world, the Palancar is steps from your door. It protects Tankah Tres from surf so the bay is always calm and perfect for snorkeling or sea kayaking. Snorkleing just off the beach you will see hard and soft corals and a multitude of colorful tropical fish. Dive services are located within walking distance, also two restaurants.
General Layout: Casa Cavu is a two level villa with three bedrooms and open floor plan. The main level consists of an open living and dining area with breakfast bar and fully equipped modern kitchen. Sliding glass doors highlight the incredible view looking out over beachside pool and Tankah Bay. Two bedrooms are located on the main level and share a bath. The main level king bedroom with a/c enjoys ocean view windows and has beach access via sliding doors. The second bedroom has one queen and one single bed with a/c and garden view.
The master suite is located on the upper level and is furnished with king bed and is air conditioned. It has a nice private bath and incredible views of the bay and Caribbean. There is a patio on this level.
The rooftop observatory is a perfect place to sip an evening margarita and watch the bay. As the sun sets enjoy a view of the heavens that you will never forget. CAVU means "Ceiling Available Visibility Unlimited".
Our caretakers, Isidro and Rocio are a big part of what makes CAVU such a special home. Isidro was an executive Chef in Cancun prior to accepting his position as caretaker. He offers an extensive menu and prepares his dishes with loving care. Rocio is the housekeeper, she keeps CAVU in sparkling condition. We also have an American property manager who greets our guests within 24 hours of arrival to orientate and answer any questions. Management is available during the entire stay.
