We had a wonderful time. The house was the perfect size. The pool was great. Hard to get the kids in the ocean. Some great snorkeling in front of the house. So nice not to have to drive anywhere. Icidro is a fantastic chef. All the meals were delicious. And his lime soup is the best thing I have ever had. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Just a quick note to tell you what a fabulous vacation we had at Casa Cavu. Isidro and Rosio are absolute gems and were an integral part of making the vacation so amazing. Such lovely and agreeable people. We ate very very well, as you can imagine, and were spoiled by Rosio's very high standards of cleanliness. Our two daughters were in heaven. See you again next year!

Casa Cavu was fantastic! We had a wonderful time, Isidro and his wife are great, I cannot say enough about them. My father used to be the General Manager of Sanborns, a restaurant chain throughout Mexico, so I grew up critiquing the food service business and I can tell you without a doubt that my father would have been highly impressed with both of them. The food, the presentation, the clean-up, just perfect. There really was no need to go to a restaurant! The house was spectacular, very clean, neat and tidy and kept that way the entire week despite our best efforts to mess it up. The exterior is also kept very clean and well maintained. We were also impressed with the simple amenities that you cant get in a hotel, such as the awesome selection of music, books and movies. We did not use the internet that much but to have it available, particularly for checking on our flight status, was of great comfort. We are seriously planning our next vacation down there and are very much interested in staying at Casa Cavu!

Marcia, I just wanted to drop you a quick note and say we had an awesome time, the massages were great from Budda Spa. Isidro can cook like nobody's business (ha you already knew that) and Casa Cavu was perfect. "This last week in May 2010 we took our third family vacation to Mexico. This time we stayed in Casa Cavu on Tankah Bay... a perfect location. The house was appropriately named after an avation term... Cavu... meaning "Ceiling Available And Visibility Unlimited" A well needed and great vacation". -

We loved Casa Cavu. It is a great house for a family. The kids loved the pizza place down the way. The cenote down the street was so convenient. We also loved Isidro's cooking.

Our vacation with three children (10, 6 and 2) was wonderful and easy. The quiet bay was a perfect retreat. Beaches close by were beautiful Carribean sands, restaurants were terrific (including Blue Sky right down the lane), the grocery store and town of Tulum were all within a stones throw, and the adventure through Hidden Worlds and the cenotes were mesmerizing. The house itself has incredible views and the caretakers, Esidro and Rosia, were delightful, great cooks and kept the house in perfect condition.

Casa Cavu was wonderful!! The house was perfect and the staff were exceptional!! We were staying in our own little corner of paradise. We were centrally located to all that we wanted to do, and when we wanted to spend the day at the house, there was a gorgeous beach, pristine pool, and hammocks to enjoy all day. We could even walk along the street to our home or the beach in front of the home, and visit a couple of restaurants, a snack store, and even made some friends. We would highly recommend this location!!

This was a wonderful home in the Tankah Bay area of the Mayan Riveria. The home was wonderful - not too hot in June and air-conditioned bedrooms. The caretakers (Isidro and Rocio) were warm and friendly and wonderful. The location is fantastic, unless you like lots of high-rise hotels and resort action. It's relatively quiet and peaceful and very tranquil. A wonderful place to visit. We will return!

We stayed in Casa Cavu in May 2008. There were 4 adults, 2 4-year olds, and 2-infants. It was so wonderful and had everything we needed. We really felt no need to even leave the property. The caretakers were amazing. You must let Isidoro cook for you. Do it the first night and you will be hooked. I would definitely stay again and recommend it to a friend. You never know what you are actually going to get but Casa Cavu really looked just like the beautiful photos online.

We loved this property! We had 2 kids with us and they played all day on the beach and in the pool. The fish at the reef were beautiful and we even saw a turtle. Easy to get to Xel-Ha and the sites of Tulum. We had Senor make us a few delicious meals...everything was perfect....

We just spent a week at Casa Cuva and had a wonderful time. The house and grounds are well maintained by the caretakers, Isidro & Rocio. The house is well equiped with everything you may need. Isidro is an excellent cook. I highly recommend you have him cook for you when you first get there. You may end up having him cook for you every night as we did. Tankah Bay is beautiful and quiet. It's the perfect place for relaxing.
