Situated on the highly desirable and tranquil Leelanau Avenue, guests will enjoy a short stroll to the gorgeous coastline and dunes of Lake Michigan and downtown historic Frankfort - one of the few remaining traditional northern Michigan small coastal towns. Once you park your car, you will not need to get in again until you leave.
This 3 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath cottage has been completely renovated and re-furnished. We have preserved the tradition of a Northern Michigan cottage, but have incorporated all of the modern conveniences of high definition TV and DVD, WiFi wireless internet, completely new kitchen, including new appliances (fridge w/ice maker, mircowave, dishwasher, stove), new cabinets with granite, new hardwood floors, all new furniture, new baths, washer and dryer, new back deck with dining area, and a wonderful outdoor shower.
The bedrooms and living spaces have been beautifully decorated and will surround your family in warmth and comfort. Unlike other rentals, this home is also our summer home, and you will immediately recognize the difference in the quality, decor, charm and comfort it offers. Peak: June 25 - Sept. 10 ... $1,650/week
Labor Day Options: Aug 27 - Sept. 6 ... $2,400; or Sept. 3 - 10 ... $2,000
Fall Colors: $1,450/week; $250/night w/2 night minimum (plus $50 cleaning fee)
Refundable Damage Deposit: $500; refunded within 14 days after depart if no damage

The owners of this beautifully appointed, ideally located cottage have gone to great efforts to provide everything you need for a week away in lovely Frankfort. Just bring your bathing suit! And don't miss the outdoor shower in the sun.

A great place to stay! It may look like your grandmother’s quaint home from the outside, but inside the renovation is pottery barn “cottage casual.” Lovely modern rustic furnishings, updated kitchen with a large 8 person dining table, marble bathroom, comfortable beds, etc. Outside the deck has a lovely table for six. The outdoor hot and cold water shower is just brilliant! With a little dressing area attached it is private and welcoming after a hot, sandy day at the beach. Location could not be better – 3 short blocks for the beach and two blocks from town. The owners thought of everything – even a stroller converted to a beach cart to carry your cooler, towels, chairs, and umbrella. I look forward to returning!
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

Old meets new. Lovely , very clean "cottage" with many updates. Situated on a quiet street a few blocks from downtown and the beach. Lovely back patio with large table and six wicker chairs.

Top notch finishes and decor, outdoor shower amazing. Couple blocks to the beach to enjoy sun, sand, pier diving and nightly sunsets. Nice to just walk up the street for dinner at Main St. restaurants. So convenient to all ... including bike trails, tennis courts, Betsie Valley Lighthose ... can you tell I'm ready to go back??

Our family had a wonderful week in this charming cottage! The location in downtown Franfort was an easy walk to the beach and to shopping. We made use of the available bikes and beach push cart to get where we needed to go. Five of us stayed comfortably in this beautifully decorated home. My family really enjoyed the outdoor shower with HOT water. We grilled our dinners on the back patio and got to meet the neighbors! We hope to visit again soon.

This couldn't have been a more perfect location for our "Girls' Time Out"! The cottage is immaculate, beautifully decorated and supplied with everything we needed, including extra special little touches that made it even more welcoming. It is situated perfectly for those who want to enjoy the lake and the peacefulness of the surroundings, and is equally as perfect for those who want to explore Sleeping Bear Dunes and the gorgeous area of Michigan in which the cottage is located. The owners are delightful to deal with, and my friends and I enthusiastically recommend this rental.

We are still thinking about what a great time we had this summer in Frankfort! A week was too short. This house was fantastic! Wonderfully decorated and super location! The owners were a pleasure to deal with. EVERYTHING you need is there. The attention to detail is really perfect, right down to all the hooks to hang your towels...the thoughtfulness in the renovation really shows. It was so nice to just be so comfortable and perfectly relaxed. We can't wait to stay here again next summer!!

we are just back from a beautiful week at this house and i recommend it entirely. it's comfortable and easy - beautifully decorated and the owners generously provide Everything you can think of for your vacation. there's beach equipment, a Weber grill, a beautiful kitchen, outdoor table and umbrella, bicycles, washer/dryer (with detergent there), big TV and wifi. they don't just have towels, they have really thick ones with extras waiting in case you need them. the house is in a charming old neighborhood and it's easy to walk to the beach or town. the owners have also been very nice to deal with. check it out and enjoy.

Easily the best vacation rental property we have ever rented - anywhere. It was expertly renovated, clean, attractive, comfortable, easy to live in, beautifully furnished and thoughtfully equipped. On this latter point, we especially appreciated the bikes, beach equipment, wireless internet connection, Weber grill, dishware, cookware and stemware. On the design side all terrific but we really liked the kitchen. It a was a delightful place to prepare and enjoy meals.
