This luxury condo has been completely redone and is the perfect vacation choice for an intimate Hawaii vacation or for the family trip of a lifetime. It is beautifully furnished with a new kitchen, master bedroom with king bed and trundle bed (which sleeps one person), a second bedroom with two twin beds (that can be moved together), and a fold out queen size couch in the living room. The unit is on the fourth floor and overlooks the pool and Jacuzzi. It is perfect for families who want to keep an eye on the kids or family members without sitting by the pool all day. You can call the gang in for lunch from the spacious living room lanai. The master bedroom also has an intimate private lanai.

While this remodeled unit is adequate, the resort is rather old and rundown. The “chirping” birds mentioned in another review are hardly charming; rather they start screaming at 4am and don’t stop until daylight. Unless you are hard of hearing, bring earplugs! This “resort” is not on Kaanapali beach – it is located about 2 miles north of that beautiful beach. There is one decent restaurant on the property, but it’s a long way from the other resorts in the area. If you are looking for very basic lodging (think small apartment) and can deal with the morning noise, this property would be fine. If you are looking for a resort, look elsewhere.

This unit is spotless and fully tricked out. We loved the view, the bed in the master bedroom, and, of course, the wide screen TV's. There are beach chairs to borrow, books to read on the beach, even pool toys available. Great sunsets at night too. The unit looks like it was recently renovated and shows it. The owners did a great job. I wish my own home was this neat and compact. The concierge service at Kaanapali Shores helped us with local reservations; there was a free scuba diving lesson in the pool; and there's a walking path that goes for miles along the beachfront. What's more, the unit is high enough not to be affected by noise from the little kiddies playing in the hotel pool down below. All we heard were birds chirping outside in the morning. All I can say is "GO!"

This room is beautifully done. It has everything you could possible want in it. Loved the oversize mugs for that morning coffee. The closet is well stocked with everything you could possible want for snorkeling and playing on the beach. I can't say enough about this room. The property management company did an excellent job of making sure everything was the way we would want it. They even called to make sure we didn't require anything and that everything was in order. Grocery store is across the street making getting food easy. This unit totally lived up to what we wanted. Will rent this room again in a heart beat.
