- The River House is more than an ordinary vacation home. It's charming on the outside and cozy inside with all modern amenities, and a very Provencal flavor. There is a private pier, perfect for catching crabs, launching a boat, watching herons and other birds, or just relaxing. We can arrange kayak and bike rentals for guests. Inside the cottage, it's bright and light with unobstructed views, cozy fireplace, lovely all year round, and warmed by sun throughout the year. Convenient to both Easton and St Michaels with shops, antiques, cafes and elegant restaurants...you won't run out of things to do. Guests who visit the River House often want to visit our restored Village House in the heart of Provence, France. It's located in Grambois, a medieval perched village not far from Aix en Provence.
