We stayed in August of 2010 and had the most amazing time, My husband, me, my 19 yr. old and her best friend, my 18 yr. old and his girlfriend, we took the boat out all day, they loved the boat docked, swimming, it was great. I do have to say the best vaction we have had in years.

We fell in love with this place! The house is perfect and the view is incredible!! We enjoyed floating and playing in the water for hours. We fished early in the morning and in the evening. Our teenage daughters have decided they want to spend every summer here. Thank you Rodney & Marla for sharing your beautiful cabin with us!

Thank you so very much for sharing your beautiful lake home with us. We felt comfortable as soon as we got there. The view from the wrap around deck was breathtaking! The picture windows in the living room that looked out over the lake were my favorite. Everything was clean and well equipped. I look forward to staying there again very soon and bringing the grandchildren to play in the game room downstairs. They will love it!

Just got on here to book again for this year and wanted to say how much my friends and I enjoyed this cabin. It was perfect for us. The double decker boat dock was awesome. I also really liked the wrap around porch with a beautiful view of the lake. Thanks Mr. Rodney allowing us to stay at your slice of heaven on smith lake...

What a great place to get away from it all. We really liked the decor, especially the comfortable couches, just like the pictures. Relaxing view of the lake. Loved the decks. Double decker dock was a great place, swim during the day and watch the stars at night. Even caught a Big Striper right off the dock. My boys took over the downstairs play room and enjoyed the privacy. Thanks again for the chance to stay at your beautiful and clean lake house. We plan to come back again this year.

Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at your home on Smith Lake. I really enjoyed the short drive to the grocery store and the walk to the water is one of the shortest we have experienced. The decorations are beautiful and everything we needed was available as you stated. We all really enjoyed the large dock and the kids loved fishing at night although no luck..... Thanks again

Our two sons and their families along with my wife and I had a wonderful time at Smith Lake Lodge. The peacefulness and beauty of our surrounding was just fantastic. Everything was clean and comfortable. We hope to come back again.

What a perfect get away! We brought my 72 year old Mom, who never gets out of her house, and she had a blast doing NOTHING with us! We floated in the water, clean and clear, for hours, sunned on the boat dock and fished ourselves silly! The owner is great to work with, very accommodating. We WILL go back! Tips: If you fish take Rodney up on info to go out with a fishing guide, we think it was just to HOT for fishing for we used every lure and live bait imaginable.

Our family stayed at this property over the Memorial Day holiday and LOVED it. This is such an ideal place to stay! This property is located in an area that is great for swimming (not on the main channel/not much boat traffic). Water was 50’ deep at boat house! This property is located around some nice Striper hot spots. Great accommodations, owner is easy to work with. Elegantly decorated, game room downstairs, large living room with WONDERFUL view. Decks are awesome! We have stayed at many vacation rentals over the years and this was one of our favorites! We will be returning!
