Located just inside the Jenkins St. back entrance, this beautiful 2400SF 4 Bedroom home is located in the resort of Windham Ocean Ridge. Once outside the gate, the beach is just 2 blocks away! This home is HANDICAP FRIENDLY with an open floor plan and elevator. Cozy enough for two, but large enough for family and friends when necessary.
This home offers both a great beach and golf vacation and is a wonderful place to escape from the snow in the winter months. A resort amenities pass is available with daily or weekly rates. This pass will provide you with unlimited access to all the resort amenities, including access to three pools (one indoor and heated in the winter), playground, miniature golf course, recreation center, hot tub, 3 tennis courts, fitness center, a tram to transport you around the resort and to the beach, a private beach cabana(beach chair and beach umbrella rentals available), shuffleboard and tanning bed.
The golf course has been recently renovated and has some of the lowest rates in the Charleston area. Golf carts are available for rental. There is a pro shop, pub and new restaurant for you to also enjoy. The resort cabana has handicap access and is approximately a 10 minute walk from the house. Deck chairs, umbrellas, restrooms, covered picnic tables and a volley ball net are there for your use.
Bring/rent a bike, because you may want to ride through the resort or explore the town's bike path, which takes you around the entire town and to the State Park trails. Here you will see the best that nature has to offer. Don't forget, Edisto's seafood restaurants are fantastic! Historic Charleston is nearby and Savannah is a day trip away.
This property is managed by a rental management company that can take care of many of your specific needs. Linens, bikes, etc. can be supplied by Edisto Essentials, a local supplier.
