  We had the pleasure of staying at this cute little haven for 10 days with close family friends. The house itself has all the amenities you will need including a beautiful beach that is so underpopulated, it might as well be your own private beach. The water is pristine, the spot is immaculate...everything you could hope for in a quiet laid back vacation spot. One thing you must know is that there is absolutely no internet. The owner will tell you that you can get a signal on the beach...but not true. If you really need to connect it will take a 45 minute boat taxi ride to town or to Popa Paradise with the attending costs. So it is important to know this before booking. There is a small bar on the beach that is open to locals as well as renters/owners that is fun and charming and lets you get out to meet fellow renters, local villagers, and enjoy a bit of Panama cheer. The biggest plus are Michael and Christine, who are managers of the majority of the properties at this location. They are amazing people who go out of their way to make your stay memorable and fun. We will definitely stay in touch with them and go back to see them next time we visit.

  Can't recommend salt creek enough - a beautiful spot in paradise! the house was exactly as advertised, clean, adorable, with all the amenities you could want while remaining a beachhouse in character. The two caretakers of these vacation homes are the BEST...... michael arranged an adventure day for a couple of us (from a few of the houses) that was the highlight of all of our trips. The walk to salt creek village is about 2 minutes and recommended for a sloth sighting. The best part of staying here is the neighbourhood feel and the people you meet along the beach. We had so-so weather, so lots of reading time, but when it was sunny it couldnt be beat! Would definitely recommend this house/any of the houses in this strip if you want a relaxing time in a spot that isn't over touristy.

  Owner response: So glad to share our little piece of paradise with wonderful guests and to know they enjoy it as much as we do. Just one quick point, the walk to Salt Creek Village is about 15 to 20 minutes where you can visit local art shops and depart for various tours of the area.

  We had an excellent time during our stay in January. The house is absolutely beautiful and the beach and water are breathtaking. It has a very remote feel but you are always just a short 30 min boat ride from Bocas Town. Mike, the manager, was awesome, helpful and just all around phenomenal! Ask him to take you to the "secret pizza spot." I would highly recommend this house to anyone who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle of Bocas Town but still enjoy the crystal clear waters and fabulous atmosphere of Boas Del Toro.

  Wonderful house to stay in! Our group of 4 enjoyed the beautiful, well maintained grounds and beach. Recommend visiting the Salt Creek village, for a guided jungle walk, where we saw monkeys and a sloth. The newly constructed "beach bar" gave us the opportunity to meet other families staying on the island. The island has it all! Thanks to Michael and Christine, they took great care of us, even sharing some milk that we forgot to bring--great neighbors! Would love to stay again!

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car.
