Stores, beach, windsurfing, kite-boarding, restaurants and the national park are all less than five minutes walking distance away. The pool-side, ground level condo is well-appointed. If you choose not to eat in any of the many beach restaurants or restaurants on the main street, you will find all that you need to cook at home. Grocery stores are only a few minutes away.
Should you wish to go deep-sea fishing, river rafting, horseback riding, sailing on a catamaran, touring the historical Santo Domingo, whale watching (Jan - Mar) tours are easily booked right in town. Around the pool, you will probably meet other kite-boarders or windsurfers but you could just as easily meet families traveling with their children. Cabarete is the place to be for a fun-filled holiday.
