Located near Daingerfield, Texas, just a short drive from Dallas or Shreveport. Here you can leave the stress of the city behind. There is no better cure for city life than sitting on your porch at Greer Farm sipping a cool drink as the sun sets behind the lake. Your worries stop the moment you enter the front gate.
Your cabin is nestled among stands of towering pine, oak and pecan trees. The slightest breeze and their whispers will fill your ears. Bring your binoculars and observe the birds, butterflies and other wildlife that make Greer Farm their home. The property is yours to explore.
Directly in front of your cabin is a private 11 acre lake. Paddle boats and canoes are available for your use or drop a line off the dock to pull in one of the giant catfish swimming by. Avid anglers work the shoreline for the best chance at a trophy bass (our current record - 10 lbs!)
Cabin has a kitchenette, complete with all the basic necessities. Your refrigerator will be stocked with farm fresh eggs from our roaming hens, scrumptious breads and other goodies.
Additional lakeside cabins are available and a hideaway loft in a barn near the main farmhouse.

My family and I have been a few times to Greer Farm and will go back at least once a year. Sid and Eva are lovely people, the cabins very clean and the perfect size for our family of four. We seriously could not have asked for a better, local place to stay. Our kids are already asking when we will go again!
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.
