Marcia, thanks for allowing us to rent your exceptional Condo for 10 days. The pictures & description are exactly what we saw when we opened the door to your unit, very bright and enticing, especially the huge furnished patio. With the pool just outside the door it was perfect for an early morning dip and if you wanted to go to the beach the extra beach chairs & cooler etc. provided go above and beyond what is provided in many other rental units. You have thought of everything. The fully stocked kitchen and your suggestion to guests to leave behind spices and other non perishable items make it feel so much like being home. The maid service and ability to have a washer/dryer in the unit is a blessing. As we have stayed in Zihuat before your complex is the best location in the area in my opinion, and the staff, Regelio, Norma, and the 24/7 security are so pleasant and appreciated. What we enjoyed was that extra touch of fans on the patio, the living room and both bedrooms to keep a breeze going when it heated up in the afternoon. We found quite a few new restaurants in town and left their business cards in your guest book for other guests. I recommend them all and agree with your comments in your instructional book that the best place to buy real Mexican coffee is in the Mercado. The views from your patio never leave our memories, just sitting out on the many lounges and chairs you provide make it so easy not to do anything else but sit and enjoy your condo. We left the card for an English speaking taxi driver that we retained for 4 hours and I can certainly recommend him for other guests who want to venture around the district. In closing, it was indeed a pleasure working with you arranging the rental and we appreciated your fast responses to our questions, something we often do not see with VRBO owners. I have read on some websites people complaining about the "construction noise" at the renovation just below you and across the road but I can assure other potential guests that is simply not so and your guests should not worry about those rumours. We will return to your little piece of paradise and hope your unit will still be for rent. It takes a lot of planning to have such a lovely condo with so much to offer your guests. All the best in 2012, maybe see you next year. G & M Burrell, Calgary, Alberta.

This was our third time vacationing at this condo in Zihuatanejo, and yes, it does seem to get better each time. The condo itself is so open, spacious and inviting - it felt like home from the minute we walked in the door. Everything we needed has been provided by the owners - a fully-equiped kitchen, beach chairs, beach towels, bags for the market, even an orange squeezer (which we used every morning). The guestbook outlining all the local attractions, restaurants, beaches and shops is truly helpful. The staff was very helpful during our visit, and the neighbors are very friendly and helpful with suggestions. The location is incredible - from the large terrace, we had a view of the entire bay and the Pacific. The beach is only a five-minute walk and we loved going down to Pati's for breakfast and a day on the beach. If you prefer to spend the day by the pool, it is only a few steps from the front door and there is also a great deck with lounge chairs for a relaxing day in the sun. Having cocktails and watching the sunset from the terrace was a great way to end the day. The restaurants suggested by the owner were all delicious - but the highlight of the trip was having the housekeeper, Nati, prepare dinner one night. She shopped, prepared the table, and served the food in truly gracious and exceptional manner. It was an evening we will remember for many years to come. Zihuatanejo is a special place, and staying at this condo gives us the opportunity to enjoy the beauty, peace and adventure of it all. We cannot wait until our next visit! Jerry & Hugh

If given the choice to vacation at any venue in the charming town of Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo, we wouldn't stay anywhere but La Preciosa!! Every evening was spent on the terrace overlooking the Pacific Ocean, watching the spectacular sunsets (and enjoying a glass of sangria, of course). Every day we had the choice of a healthy walk to La Playa la Ropa, or to walk just outside the condo doors to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of the infinity pool. In our home-away-from-home we did not feel at all like tourists; every amenity of home was at our fingertips. If we decided to not enjoy one of the authentic and locally-flaired restaurants nearby, we had the option to gather local produce from the nearby market and cook in the cozy kitchen, and eat our meals at the breakfast bar or on the terrace. When attempting to choose from all the sight-seeing options presented to us, we could open Marcia's self-made "things-to-do-and-see" book for a personal review regarding each option; Frommer's has nothing on this book!! There were even suggestions for quirky and fun souvenirs to take home to friends, family, and loved ones. Marcia has really made this a comfortable and welcoming environment to enjoy one of the best Mexican vacations you can imagine. We will surely be returning!!

I stayed here with my family for a week in Feb. 2011. The condo was beautiful with the most amazing outdoor terrace and views of the entire bay. The infinity pool and wooden deck is right outside the so it feels as it's your own private pool and extension of the condo. The owner provides you with everything you will need - beach towels, chairs, shopping bags, juice squeezer, blenders - you know - for all those Margaritas you will be making - and a guide book for restaurants and excursions. We stopped by the high end hotel the Tides (now the Viceroy) which charges about $1,000 for a 2bd. and liked the condo better. Very similar style - someone told me it was the same architect but don't quote me on that. You won't be disappointed with this place.

Fantastic week in Zihuatenejo, this condo is amazing. We loved every minute of our stay and the accommodations were super. The owner provides a book with oodles of great recommendations for things to do, places to eat, how to get around and more, which was so helpful and made our stay even more enjoyable. We will be back.

The condo is perfect. It's very clean, comfortable and well-appointed. The location was in the middle of everything- we could easily walk to the beach, town, and restaurants. We usually spend our vacation time with family- this was our first "real" vacation" in years, and it was a dream come true. There's so much to do in the area, but you could also spend days relaxing in the condo's luxury. We felt safe the entire time. The community was truly happy we were vacationing in their town and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We know only a few Spanish words but were able to communicate easily with staff. We're looking forward to another visit in 2012.

An amazing experience. My fiance and I traveled to Mexico in early June for 5 days and stayed in this wonderful hideaway. The staff at the facility were all extremely friendly and the accommodations exceeded what the pictures allow for a view. The location seemed to be a perfect set. Just far away from town to afford seclusion but close enough that you could walk or cab it in a short time.(It was also great that a cab stand was around the corner so the time it took to get a cab called by the guard was a matter of 2-3 minutes.) We are looking forward to our next trip down and are happy we have place to return to. Wonderful experience.

This condo in Zihuatanejo delights the senses. Everything was as promised and more: luxury, security, service, amenities, comfort, views, convenience, everything. I felt like a high flyer in the exceptional accomodations provided by this condo. Z is a quaint, authentic village and the local folks are friendly and fun so you can immerse yourself in the culture and daily life. There are also many things to see and do in the area when you feel like exploring. The owners provide suggestions and recommendations for activities in the area. I often found myself relaxing in the beautiful infinity pool and lounging on the delightful beach listening to the sounds of the surf. I recommend a massage in the white cabanas setup on Playa de Ropa... heaven. The food was fresh, healthful and inexpensive. I loved the limonada (so refreshing!) and recommend the local red snapper (and I normally dont eat alot of fish!). From the condo's large terrace, the views of Zihuatanejo and the bay are phenomenal. Wherever the days activities take you, you will always enjoy returning to your home away from home in this beautiful and luxurious condo. I recommend an annual pilgrimage to this outstanding retreat.

This place is fabulous. We stayed here for a week in April and were sad to leave this little piece of paradise. The owners provided us with clear instructions on arrival to get from the airport to the condo and it only took us a few minutes to find ourselves in a comfortable spot on the patio taking in the view of the bay. We started our week with a quick trip to grocery store, which was a short cab ride away, to stock the fully equipped kitchen with freshly made corn tortillas and tequila for the week. We enjoyed cooking a few meals in the condo and eating a few in down town Zihuatanejo. Our favorite restaurant was a place called “Any” and we liked it so much that we ate there twice. We normally just picked places to eat based on the instruction binder provided by the owners. We were able to do many activities during our visit. We went on an ecological tour with biking, kayaking, and snorkeling on the Island of Ixtapa, a fishing and snorkeling trip with a local fisherman to Playa Manzanilla, and an excursion to a neighboring beach called Playa Larga. The highlight of the week was a cooking class with Monica where we made tortillas by hand and shopped at the local market for ingredients. Most of those activities took half of the day, which freed up the other half for lying under the palapas on the beach, nurse a tasty beverage, or visit the handicrafts market down town. My wife had a pedicure at Paty’s that she raved about for days that only cost about $20 for an hours worth of work. The prices for transportation, food, and drinks are quite cheap and it’s easy to spend a whole night on the town for under $20 each. Regarding the amenities in the condo, the beds were more comfortable than what we have at home, the patio has nice little shades to keep the temperature pleasant in the afternoon, the pool was the perfect temperature, the dishwasher prevented us from having to clean our own margarita glasses and the unlimited purified water kept us from having to buy loads of bottled water. This condo will not disappoint. You will never want to leave.

We had a wonderful vacation at this beautiful condo. The property is extremely clean and well-maintained and the furnishings are first-rate. We never tired of the jaw-dropping view from the huge terrace. Marcia and Walter have outfitted their unit with exceptional care and attention to detail to provide all the comforts of home. The condo development is in a prime location and features a lovely infinity pool. The best beach in Zihua is only a five-minute walk from the condo, and several top restaurants are even closer.

My husband and I had never been to Zihuataneuo. We had an opportunity to get of NC from the ice and snow and visit this new paradise. Wow, we had no idea what we were going to find. This condo is absolutely first-class with an infinity pool, incredible terrace, gourmet kitchen, huge rooms with comfortable furniture, and the most comfortable beds around. The market and wonderful restaurants are just a short walk away. We so enjoyed being on the beach at 6:30 to see the most incredible sunsets while we enjoyed happy hour. We had never been to Zihuatanejo before but we hope to go there again and again. We have so many awesome memories from this trip.

This condo is absolutely wonderful. Incredibly clean, close to the beach and downtown, incredible views all with an infinity pool right outside the front door. We spent Christmas 2010 there with our daughter 20 and our son 17 and had the most amazing time. We cooked many of our own meals on the barbeque on the palapa as well as at some of the wonderful restaurants both downtown and at Playa la Ropa beach. There is everything you could possibly need to make your vacation comfortable, a well equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, barbeque, lovely living room, the beds are very comfortable (with wonderful pillows) and even some beach chairs and a cooler bag. We definitely plan to stay here when we come to Zihautanejo again.

I had the good fortune having a "girls getaway" for my birthday in early December at Preciosa. My husband surprised me and picked out this fabulous condo for the trip. Everything from booking the trip, to pre-trip advice, to post trip follow-up by the owners was handled quickly and easily. You can tell they really care about their guests having a good time. When we walked into the unit we could NOT believe the view, just spectacular. The patio is HUGE and nicely furnished. I could never tire of gazing at the view sipping my coffee on that patio, such a treat. The unit is fully equipped and very clean, nice furniture and very comfortable. Can't think of anything the owners have missed. There are views from the bedrooms as well thanks to a wall of shutters in each bedroom, such a brilliant idea. The walk to the beach and town was very pleasant. Zihuatanejo has a wonderful feel to it, more authentic and not as touristy as other places I have been in Mexico. Lots of inexpensive, delicious food to be found. The only touristy experience we had was visiting Los Gatos beach via water taxi. The beach is beautiful but it was quite busy and we felt a lot of pressure to dine at each venue. Ultimately we went back to Paty's on La Ropa for our beach day ! The taxis around town were very easy to find and the prices very fair. The staff at the condo were so cheerful and ready to help. The pool is literally steps out the front door, and the view IS as pictured. We had the pool all to ourselves most of the time. Hope to return and would definitely recommend this condo to others.
Owner response:Our condo in Zihuatanejo is perfect for any occasion - girls getaway, honeymoon, relaxing week or family vacation.

We were lucky to spend our 10 day honeymoon in this Paradise . The weather was outstanding while we were there (March). The condo was extremely clean and had all the ammenities we needed++ Having a full kitchen along with a grill outside allowed us to cook some great meals. The breathtaking view is something you cannot get tired of. The condo is right next to the pool and sundeck area so it felt just like it was an extension of the condo rather than having to walk down stairs, take an elevator etc. You can walk to the beach where there are great restaurants and bars and even downtown is a short walk. If you don't want to walk the cabs are VERY reasonable. The owners did a great job of noting several activities to do and reccomended restaurants for all price levels in the book at the condo. All the staff were very friendly and would help with anything. We spent several sunsets at Pady's on the beach for their 2 for 1 happy hour. We spent several mornings at Elvira's (next to Pady's) if you purchase a drink or food you can lounge in the lounge chairs all day. One night we stayed in and ordered pizza from Jungle Pizza which was phenomenal! We had 2 fabulous meals at a restaurant in Zihua called Caprichos and another great meal at Coconuts. Bistro Del Mar was another favorite restaurant, we enjoyed the freshest Tuna Sashimi I have ever tasted, literally melted in my mouth! There are so many options for food you can truly get whatever you want! There is a great Italian restaurant in walking distance to the condo called Il Mare, like every other restaurant the views are breathtaking. Across the street on the beach you can get an hour massage and facial for practically nothing, it is so relaxing to hear the waves crashing in the background We definitely will be coming back with friends and family for hopefully years to come. I think our favorite part about the area is that it is not "touristy" everyone is very laid back and friendly and the area is truly beautiful and not taken over by large hotels or chain restaurants which you find in some of the larger cities.

We had a wonderful week in this sunny paradise. There were so many different things to do, from the early morning visit to see the fishermen with their catches and having breakfast downtown afterwards at a cafe overlooking the bay to exploring downtown and its many interesting sights. We enjoyed watching the beautiful sunsets each day from the terrace, lazy afternoons by the pool and delicious dinners at so many good restaurants around town. The condo was very comfortable and had everything we needed during the week. We especially enjoyed the meals we prepared in the fully equiped kitchen. This was our first trip to Zihuatanejo, but we look forward to coming back to your wonderful condo. Thanks for letting us share your place in paradise.
