We are located at the foot of Snowbowl and within minutes of the designated sledding areas. Sleep in and still be the first ones on the slope!
Imagine breakfast overlooking the San Francisco peaks and dinner or a glass of wine in front of the fire place. Why choose between rustic and urban when you can have both? You can be skiing at Snow Bowl within 5 minutes, shopping and dining in Downtown Flagstaff within 10 minutes, or hiking the Grand Canyon in an hour! From the home, access the trails and the forest by mountain bike, ATV, or horseback.
The 2000 square feet rental cabin is comfortable enough to accommodate your large family or group of friends vacation get-away! All rooms have beautiful lodge-pole style furnishing to complement the rustic surroundings.
- Master bedroom has a king size lodge pole canopy bed with 29' TV;
- Guest bedroom #2 has a four-poster size queen bed;
- Guest bedroom #3 has a queen size bed with view of the Coconino forest;
- Guest bedroom #4 has a bunk bed with a twin top and full bottom and games for the kids.
If venturing out is not on the agenda, stay in, play a game, or enjoy a movie. We have Scrabble, Taboo, Pictionary, Operation, Clue, Gestures, Cranium and The Secret Labrynth. Both the 32' television in the family room and 29' television in master bedroom have dish family, Cinemax, dvd, and vcr players. The video library has 35 movies! Bring your iPod and play your favorite songs on the stereo system. Sit on the patio and enjoy the sunset while enjoying your favorite grilled burger. For the more literary minded who just want to sit by the wood burning fireplace, there are more than a dozen books to choose from. Even the kitchen has gadgets for the most creative cooks. Not only do we have the all basics, there is also a ice cream maker for the most ambitious chef!

Of course our state is famous for the Grand Canyon, but don’t forget about our history and natural attractions. Day trips from our home include Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument, Walnut Canyon National Monument, Coconino National Forest, the Petrified Forest, Montezuma’s Castle, and the Painted Desert. Nearby attractions include the Museum of Northern Arizona, Riordan mansion State Historic Park, The Arboretum, Lowell Observatory. Before returning home, visit the beautiful towns of Jerome, Sedona, Williams. At night, enjoy food and drinks at the Beaver Street Brewery and dance the evening away at the Galaxy or Museum Club.

Why the Owner Chose Flagstaff
When I first visited the home, I felt immediately at peace. The view of Humphrey's Peak and the national forest was overwhelming. Living in the heart of Phoenix, I experience the day to day aggravations associated with a large city. In Baderville, my soul immediately felt at peace and I am able to relax.
The Unique Benefits at this House
The view. If you like waking up and enjoying breakfast in full view of Humprey's Peak, this would be a good choice for you. If not, well, that's something else. Skiing. We don't have much of it in Arizona but if you were to play a ski trip, why spend time driving around when you can be home in 2 minutes. Grand Canyon. There's a reason it is a natural wonder. And being close to it doesn't hurt either. Downtown. It's loud to stay there due to train passings. But to be 10 minutes away from the heart of it makes visiting it that much more enjoyable.

Stayed with family over Christmas and absolutely loved it! 6 adults, 3 children. Beautiful views, 5 minutes to skiing and sledding, cozy fireplace, great kitchen with ammenities and plenty of space for the children to have fun with their Christmas. Definitely going back!

Very, Very, Very Nice Place. It is very spacious!!! We rented it for three couples with 3 small kids and we had more than enough space. The location is perfect for the ones interesting in going to Snowball daily. The view of the peaks from the living room is amazing. Very homey feeling, with very well equipped kitchen. Not the luxury, but very, very,very comfortable and cozy place. The rates are great for the place like this. Thanks.

We loved our stay here. It was the perfect place for our needs. It was clean and comfortable as advertised. The location is perfect for forays in all directions. We spent every day exploring all the incredible sights this area has to offer, then we had this nice quiet place to come back to each night. And the stars! Very nice. We would easily recommend this cabin to anyone and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This cabin has the perfect location for those looking to head to snowbowl. We skied everyday of our stay and we were 4 min from the road to snowbowl. We really enjoyed making our own meals instead of going out. This is so much better than a hotel, lots of room, great price! Thanks for letting us enjoy your home!

The house was very nicely equipped plenty of room for out two families 9 people total. two fireplaces were nice to cozy up next to and just relax. It was very nice being right at the base of the AZ Snow-bowl for you skiers and snowboarders, And a quick 5 min drive to the snow play/sledding area. our children had tons of fun. While we were there it snowed around 2 ft of snow right at the house. Great views, Close enough to everything would recommend to anyone.

Our family stayed for 2 weeks in November 2010 and had a really enjoyable time. The location was perfect and the peak views stunning. We also spent a lot of time gazing up at the incredible night sky. The home is light and bright and very comfortable. We would definitely stay again!

My family spent NAU graduation weekend in this cabin and had a wonderful weekend. We found the cabin to be very clean, well stocked and updated. The beds are sooo comfortable. Ten minute drive to Flag, was worth being out in the country...the stars at night were awesome!! We will definately stay here again and again.

Thank you for letting us stay at your house. It was delightful, peaceful, restful – everything that we needed. In addition, the house was comfortable and nicely equipped. Our son came from WA and our daughter with her two children from Phoenix. What a delight to be away from the grind of responsibilities and enjoy each other's company in such a serene atmosphere. We visited the Crater and Canyon and enjoyed the Milky Way in all its splendor every evening. Each of us rested exceptionally well in the plush and most comfortable beds. We hope to soon return to this secluded, yet accessible cabin.
