Outstanding Ski Trip for 4 couples

As a member of the military, it's tough to keep in good contact with friends from over the years as you moved around. However, when I thought about how centralized Flagstaff was for friends in Las Vegas, Albuquerque, and Tucson, a ski trip to Snowbowl seemed like an excellent idea. And when you get together with friends, hotels limit your ability to visit outside of formal events. Luckily, we found this rental and it could not have worked out better. For 4 couples, plus one child and one dog, we had more than enough space. The accomodations were very cozy and all of our comfort needs were met (even though the owner described it as rustic, we didn't feel that to be the case). We could not have been much closer to the skiing either. Though the resort was not walking distance (there are no residences on the mountain which is a 7 mile drive from the base to the resort), we were able to get there in a fairly painless manner. The living area and kitchen met our needs and allowed us to save a large amount of money by cooking all of our meals. We found the price to be quite reasonable as well. Overall, we were quite satisfied by our stay and would definitely recommend it to those looking for a place to stay for a ski trip to Snowbowl...hopefully you get one with as great of weather as we had.

Very, Very, Very Nice Place. It is very spacious!!! We rented it for three couples with 3 small kids and we had more than enough space. The location is perfect for the ones interesting in going to Snowball daily. The view of the peaks from the living room is amazing. Very homey feeling, with very well equipped kitchen. Not the luxury, but very, very,very comfortable and cozy place. The rates are great for the place like this. Thanks.

Stayed with family over Christmas and absolutely loved it! 6 adults, 3 children. Beautiful views, 5 minutes to skiing and sledding, cozy fireplace, great kitchen with ammenities and plenty of space for the children to have fun with their Christmas. Definitely going back!

We loved our stay here. It was the perfect place for our needs. It was clean and comfortable as advertised. The location is perfect for forays in all directions. We spent every day exploring all the incredible sights this area has to offer, then we had this nice quiet place to come back to each night. And the stars! Very nice. We would easily recommend this cabin to anyone and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This cabin has the perfect location for those looking to head to snowbowl. We skied everyday of our stay and we were 4 min from the road to snowbowl. We really enjoyed making our own meals instead of going out. This is so much better than a hotel, lots of room, great price! Thanks for letting us enjoy your home!

The house was very nicely equipped plenty of room for out two families 9 people total. two fireplaces were nice to cozy up next to and just relax. It was very nice being right at the base of the AZ Snow-bowl for you skiers and snowboarders, And a quick 5 min drive to the snow play/sledding area. our children had tons of fun. While we were there it snowed around 2 ft of snow right at the house. Great views, Close enough to everything would recommend to anyone.

Great View of Peaks!

Our family stayed for 2 weeks in November 2010 and had a really enjoyable time. The location was perfect and the peak views stunning. We also spent a lot of time gazing up at the incredible night sky. The home is light and bright and very comfortable. We would definitely stay again!

My family spent NAU graduation weekend in this cabin and had a wonderful weekend. We found the cabin to be very clean, well stocked and updated. The beds are sooo comfortable. Ten minute drive to Flag, was worth being out in the country...the stars at night were awesome!! We will definately stay here again and again.

Thank you for letting us stay at your house. It was delightful, peaceful, restful – everything that we needed. In addition, the house was comfortable and nicely equipped. Anyway, it was a great respite – we love Flagstaff and you may be hearing from us again at some point in the future for another visit.

Our son came from WA and our daughter with her two children from Phoenix. What a delight to be away from the grind of responsibilities and enjoy each other's company in such a serene atmosphere. We visited the Crater and Canyon and enjoyed the Milky Way in all its splendor every evening. Each of us rested exceptionally well in the plush and most comfortable beds. We hope to soon return to this secluded, yet accessible cabin.

Went for mini vacation with adult daughters and husbands. Loved the house, which felt more like a country home with animals and all so close by. Perfect place to be together. Plenty of space to spread out yet still enjoy those you wanted to spend time with. We did not do the Snowbowl. Grand Canyon, Meteor Crater,and the best...Grand Falls which only runs in March when the snow melts. Very comfortable. Only had two nights and three days, but nice home base

We stayed the week of Christmas 2008 and had our first white Christmas. The house is clean and spacious. The views are amazing. There is so much to do. Sledding, snow boarding, skiing, even going to the movies, shopping or making a great meal. I would definately refer a friend to stay here.

I spent this past summer in this house and beautiful Flagstaff, AZ. The house was great! We ran on the trails everyday and enjoyed being out in peaceful Baderville. This is a great rental!
