When you are our guest, there is no need to rent a golf cart, bicycles, beach chairs, toys, or umbrella or to pack beach towels, hair dryers, bathrobes, beach bags or cooler.
Newly remodeled 2 story coastal cottage located in the North Litchfield Beach neighborhood (a short 3 block walk to the beach) with top-of-the-line outfitted kitchen. Downstairs- 1 King/ 1 Bath; Upstairs- 1 King, 1 King, 2 Queens, 2 Bunk beds/ 2 Baths.
Pillow top mattresses, high thread count premium sheets, and TV's and DVD's in all bedrooms. Hair dryers and cotton bathrobes in bathrooms. HD flat panels in den and downstairs bedroom.
Short walk or golf cart ride (limo golf cart included with signed waiver) to beach in quiet setting. Perfect for families with beach toys and chairs, bicycles. Screened living porch with fireplace, al fresco sitting and dining, gas grill, and joggling board. Sorry we DO NOT have POOL ACCESS presently, but find that we do not miss it.
Patio in back yard with lounge chairs, umbrellas, hammock, rope swing and outdoor shower. This is not a rental house; it is our second home, and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
Litchfield Beach is truly the best of both worlds located in beautifully historic Pawley's Island with golf courses, boating, fine dining, shopping, and some of the country's most spectacular beaches at your fingertips and the hubbub of Myrtle Beach with all that it has to offer 30 minutes away.

This home was our perfect getaway. We have older children - both adults and teenagers - and everyone had a vacation buddy. The house was perfect for all us. There were our private quarters when we needed some peace, and the large public areas of the house were perfect for meals and lounging. The kitchen was great with a fridge we all said we want in our own homes. My techie husband was thrilled with the TV's and Wi-Fi. This was the first time we have stayed off the beach front and we were thrilled at how close the beach was, how private it was, and how all the forms of transportation, be it bike or golf cart, were perfect. The little extras the home owners provide here make this home more like a resort instead of a vacation home: fluffy robes, plenty of white crisp towels, little toiletries in the bathrooms, and super great beds with lots of pillows. It was seriously an awesome place to stay. We will be back!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the "cottage." With three families staying together, there is always a concern about size and personal space. No problems here, plenty of both. The beach was close and private, with lots of good waves which the kid's enjoyed. Would recommend you stay here if you are planning a trip to South Carolina.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

My family of 9 just returned from Thanksgiving week at Litchfield. The home was more than we all expected. Beautiful in and out. The home was clean and there were plenty of linens, etc., for all of us. Kitchen was well equipped. The grandchildren enjoyed the backyard and of course riding the golf cart over to the beach. Hope to visit again soon.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.

My family and I enjoyed our stay in this beautiful beach home! From the spacious and beautiful backyard (hammock, patio, lounge chairs, umbrellas and rope swing) to the well-decorated and inviting interior, this home met our every need. We were a 5 minute walk (or a 1-2 minute golf cart ride) to the beach and just minutes away from some of the best seafood restaurants on the east coast! We enjoyed playing putt-putt, jogging and biking on the bike path near by, and visiting the local shops. The screened-in back porch was a special treat where we enjoyed fresh seafood dinners. We highly recommend this home for your next beach vacation! We hope to return next year!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

The house was exactly as listed and met 95% of our needs. Very relaxing, plenty of room for everyone to do their own thing. We had a puzzle going on the living room table all week, ate meals inside and on the screened porch. Kids loved the golf cart, the swing out back and the club house closet and toys. Two small suggestions: It would be nice to have a mirror in the downstairs bedroom since the bathroom is so far away and only a one person bathroom. Also, it would be helpful to have some small plastic glasses/bowls and plates for kids to use. There are lots of dishes that are very nice but much too big and heavy for use by kids. That's all.....otherwise it was perfect, perfect, perfect!!! Thanks for a wonderful week. We would definitely recommend it to anyone.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We couldn't be more happy with our experience in this Litchfield Beach House. Our group of 14 stayed comfortably as there is plenty of room. The house was perfect for a family vacation from the spacious screened in porch to the amazing kitchen stocked with everything you would need. Beautifully decorated and easy access to the beach with it's 6 passenger golf cart or multitude of bikes. We would absolutely stay here again and hope to do so soon.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers.

My family of 12 enjoyed our stay. Very nice decorated house inside. May I suggest adding a baby gate to the steps. Adults had to watch the 2 and 3 year olds around the steps. Also, some extra needed towels and wash clothes in the bathrooms upstairs. Especially, the joining bathroom with double beds and queen size bed. With six people sharing the joining bath needs at least 6 towels and wash clothes. We did not see but 4 of each. Overall we had everything we needed.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with teenagers.

Wow! The ocean (uncrowded), the grill (hot, hot), the first class kichen (gourmet), the golf cart limo (niiiice), the plethora of golf within 10 minutes (fore!), the joggling board (you guess) and the gardens (across the street), parks (ride the provided bikes) and a zillion bars, restaurants, shops and much needed good weather made for a GREAT 2 week stay. We had company, lots of company over the 2 weeks and never were in need of bathrooms or beds! Outside fireplace while cocktailing (all adults) and swing and hammock made for fun at home! We had a friend who was a great cook and turned him loose. Can you say Bolognese? Also the outdoor lounges get great morning sun! Truly a great home and a great time had by ALL! We'll be back in 2012!Recommended for: Families with young children, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Wonderful Vacation home...Loved the screened porch and outdoor shower...Great open concept for kids to run and play...golf cart was great getting to and from the beach...I have been to Myrtle Beach and this area of SC was by far more relaxing...Would recommend to anyone...Recommended for: Families with young children.

We chose to buy this particular beach cottage because of the location in a quiet, established, oak tree-filled beach neighborhood with a mixture of permanent residents as well as second home owners. The house is a stroll, bike ride, or quick golf cart trip to the beach and welcomes guests with wide plank hard wood flooring and old beams salvaged from antique tobacco barns.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Coastal-Chic is an apt description of this vacation cottage. Stress melts as you pull in the driveway and step out to the song of the ocean. The screened porch beckons with a cool drink and a novel as the ceiling fans whir at a steady clip. Children love to bounce on the joggling board, fly skyward on the rope swing, and nod off on the Pawleys Island Hammock. Guests at our cottage are pampered with 300+ count all-cotton sheets, cotton towels and bathrobes and hair dryers. Build a fire in the indooor or outdoor fireplaces during the cooler months and enjoy the cozy interiors with a glass of wine and dinner prepared in the gourmet kitchen, or pick up some of the culinary delights offered at the local gourmet shops.
