We came in October for one week. To our surprise, this condo was in a great location,close to restaurants, the airport and shopping. Easy access to other areas of the island. The property and landscape was very well maintained. The condo was clean and comfortable,no bugs!The beach was right across the street, so if you ran out of food or drinks, you did not have far to go to restock. After a day in the sun, you could come back and cool off in the pool.The parking was very close to the unit, you did not have to walk a distance with items. The condo layout is great for couples or family. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very private. We would definitely consider staying at this condo again and would recommend this condo to family and friends. Wendi was great to work! Sandi, Henderson, NV

We stayed in this unit for 5 days but wished we could stay longer. We loved sitting on the lanai with it's privacy. We loved the activity of the birds that sang to you daily. The unit was very clean, comfortable and with quiet neighbors. The unit had everything needed to enjoy your stay in Maui. The kitchen was fully equipped and if you need anything the owner responded quickly and was very accommodating. Parking was very close to unit with it's own parking stall and lots of parking for any guests you may have visiting. Price was very good and pool very private and quiet. We thank the owner for this stay and how smooth everything went with her dealing with us. We would definitely consider staying at this condo again if we were to come back to Maui and would definitely recommend this condo to friends and family.

Great Condo

This was a great location, great condo. A little older, but very well maintained and very well stocked with boogie boards, cooler, toys and beach accessories. The only issue we had was with a resident of one of the condos who was rude about sharing the pool area with my kids, who were acting completely appropriately if not a bit enthusiatically. The grounds are great and we met a lot of nice people. Don't miss the treasure of the whale sanctuary beach right across the street. We missed out on that gem til our second to last day. I've heard Wendi is a great person, we just never got to meet her, our loss. I would certainly stay here again.

Great place to stay! Although the property is just slightly dated, my impressions only got better the longer we stayed. Toss open the windows the moment you walk in, and enjoy. Big plusses for me - the property is quiet and secluded so there is a wonderful feeling of privacy. The grounds are well kept and the pool very well maintained. So after unpacking and walking around the grounds a bit, I really felt much more at home than I would at any hotel. Nice touches were the presence of just enough sundries to carry us through the four days we stayed. Paper towels, garbage bags, laundry and dish soap, etc. Usually I hate buying this stuff at premium prices for small packages that mostly go to waste so this really made my day. The kitchen is well equipped with reasonable quality utensils so cooking reasonably ambitious meals was easy. Adequate speed wireless internet - not good enough for streaming Netflix but who's staying in watching movies when you have a whole island to explore and it is free so no complaints at all! Check it out!

Best Vacation Ever

Having visited 4 of the islands of Hawaii numerous times I would have to say Maui is now my favourite island after staying at these condominiums. The location is perfect and feels like a tropical paradise right from the landscaping to the beautiful and spacious unit itself. Everything we needed was there so there were no store visits for the little extras you sometimes need. Wendi Anderson made it her job to see that we were wanting for nothing and gave us great advice on places to visit. She was always just a phone call away for any questions we had. Our time there made us feel like we were truly living in Paradise without a worry in the world For the money this has to be one of the greatest deals around and I highly recommend the condo AND Wendi to evryone I know

Thank you Wendi for a great vacation. We loved staying at your condo in the Kehei Resort. The unit was spacious and airy. Sitting out on the porch overlooking the serene tropical gardens was relaxing. The location of the resort was ideal for walking across the way to enjoy the water. Everything was ideal for seeing the sights of Maui. We look forward to coming back.

I have traveled all over the country using vrbo.com. I've stayed in some condos and homes that I would never go back to, and many I have book marked on my computer as really nice ones to use again. This was a great unit and gorgeous complex, and has now been booked marked for my future use. The process booking was very easy. My family loved staying there. The unit is roomy and had everything I needed for the beach and pool! I highly recommend staying there and will definitely book it again when I go back to paradise...Maui! Thank you for your hospitality Wendi Anderson and thanks for the great tips on restaurants. Cannot wait to come back!!!

LOVED IT AND WOULD STAY AGAIN

Ive stayed at my share of hotels and condos for business and personal reasons. This condo worked PERFECTLY. I decided to bring my parents and my 4 yr old son on vacation to Maui in Feb 2010. During the booking process the owner was very helpful and nice. Communication was there and you got to love that! We found the unit easily and everything was layed out the way it looks online. Actually its better in person!! If you couldnt bring it to Maui it was there in the condo. The furniture was nice and comfy, there were extra towels, the beds were comfortable and all appliances worked. Little extra things were laid out so we didnt have to go and buy. Like trash bags, cookware, dishes, laundry soap, etc. There is an iron, vacuum cleaner, even beach towels, chairs, and a cooler to take to the beach with you. We were in AWWW to have everything there and not have to worry or stress to bring or buy things we only needed for vacation purposes. The community of Kihei Resorts were very calm, relaxing and the residents were kind. Its in a very convenient location across the street from the beach/ocean and a seperate area (lagoon type) for younger children to play and where you can bbq. If and when I take another trip to Kihei, I would love to stay in this beautiful condo again. It WORKED for all members of my family. I highly suggest this condo and its amazing to be able to work with the owners on a great communicative level!

Great Condo

My husband and I have stayed in this condo a couple of times and, I am sure that we'll be back again. The condo is in a great location. It's convenient to get to the beach and, there is a great Indian restaurant across the street. The kitchen and bathroom are well stocked with all the basic necessities and more. Beach towels and chairs were even provided for us. The condo is clean, well-maintained, and well decorated. The bed and couch are very comfortable. The amenities are awesome. The pool is protected, so it's great for those windy days when you don't want to get sand blasted at the beach. We used the BBQ grill too. Wendi was more than helpful. She was very pleasant and accommodating. She was prompt in responding to our messages. This is a quiet and relaxing place to stay. I am embarrassed to say that my husband and I were politely asked to "keep it down" one night. And, we were at fault since we had had a few too many glasses of wine and were up quite late. Fortunately, our neighbors were very kind and forgiving. This condo is highly recommended. Enjoy!

Poorly maintained and supplied condo

I have stayed in a lot of condos in Hawaii and I have never seen one as poorly maintained, cleaned or supplied as this one. When we notified the owner of the first items we noticed, it was several days before she called us back, and then several more days before someone arrived to fix things. The repairs were incomplete. When we later approached the owner with a list of specific items that were not up to acceptable standards, she refused to discuss a partial refund as we requested. In fact she told us if we "didn't like it don't rent there again." So my best advice to you is not to rent this unit.

Owner response:I am sorry the guest felt the need to submit this review. While the guests were here, they made us aware of some minor items that needed addressing, like a light bulb, and there were some in the condo. We responded to the guest within a day, and they were happy when we left. We did not hear anything further until two weeks after their departure asking for a refund. As condo owners we try to be very responsible and responsive to our guests. We have never had a review like this, and find it highly suspect that the guest's list of items they wanted grew as they continued to ask for money back. We do keep our condo stocked and clean.

I stayed in this condo directly across from the beach just before the holidays. What a great location and facility. The owners were terrific and went out of there way to accomodate us. Even brought us fresh fruit! It was great to get up in the morning to the sound of birds and walk across to the beach to whale watch. I would recommend this unit to anybody, and have to several friends who are considering booking it for a summer vacation. This is Hawaii as I envisioned it. The residents were all very warm and kind. I am coming back!

WONDERFUL UNIT

We stayed here the first week of December. A lovely, clean unit with wonderful access to the pool and the beaches. There was plenty of room for all our guests, a fully equipped kitchen and everything I needed to eat in -if I choose to. The balcony in the evening was a true paradise. Everything could not have made Maui more wonderful then this unit. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a "home away from home" for a stay in Paradise.

We were looking for a romantic getaway in Maui and found it at Kihei Resort. The grounds are a beautiful tropical setting, quiet and welcoming and the condo was just as advertised. We had everything we need for our stay and we could not have asked for better place. Thank you so much for the owner for making it all so easy...we will be back!

Upon arriving to Kihei Resort I was surprised to find such lush gardens and a well maintained property. The unit was not only well equipped but was large and clean. I have stayed on many properties and found this to be a huge bargain for the price. Not only do they provide you with laundry soap, dryer sheets and soap, they also have many extras like cooler, beach towels, etc. Many times you have to bring these items yourself or you have to buy them upon arrival. We were very comfortable with the 4 adults we had staying with much privacy with the large room being upstairs for us and the other bedroom being downstairs. Thank you for the included amenities and all the extras that are provided. I would definitely come back!
