The open floor plan has cathedral ceilings, which gives a light and airy feel and includes a large kitchen with a breakfast/cafe area, a spacious great room with a formal dining area, a master bedroom suite which opens directly onto the lanai plus queen size and twin size bedrooms.
With stunning views of the lake and golf course, the extended lanai has a private pool (with optional heating), hot tub and luxury patio furniture including comfortable loungers, table and chairs and BBQ grill for outside dining.
You'll be made a welcome guest at the Rosedale Golf and Country Club where you can pay as you play for golf on the meticulously maintained 18 hole championship golf course, pay as you play for tennis (5 lighted har-tru courts) and use the Club House dining facilities which includes full service restaurant for lunch and dinner.
For the months May through to August 2012 - Summer membership of Rosedale Golf and Country Club is included in the price.
Membership includes family use of the:
- Junior Olympic Swimming Pool

Why the Owner Chose Rosedale Golf & Country Club
We travelled to Sarasota and the Bradenton area over 10 years ago and kept coming back as we could find no other place quite like it. As a family of four, with young children, we needed a holiday home that had something for everyone. We certainly found it here. Rosedale is a quiet and safe gated golf and tennis community and the villa is directly on the golf course although very private. The location is great, just off the I75, so there is quick and easy access either North or South, to downtown Sarasota for great shopping, restaurants and bars, museums and theatre, and North to the beautiful beaches of Anna Maria Island. Nearby there is the lovely community of Lakewood Ranch with another superb golf and tennis facilities open to the publi. Main Street is great for shopping and bars and restaurants. There is so much to see and do that we always run out of time trying to fit everything in, but it's so nice to be able to come back to the peace and tranquility that this villa has to offer.

Our villa really is home from home. From the moment you enter you will feel immediately relaxed and at ease. With it's peaceful location overlooking the golf course and with lake view you can choose to do as much or as little as you like. Having visited many villas in the past we understand the frustrations that parents have when holidaying so we have ensured that the villa is totally child friendly. Our days are packed with playing golf, lots of tennis, visiting theme parks in Tampa and day trips to Orlando. With beaches closeby, we often spend the morning on the beach, lunch at St Armands Circle and a lazy afternoon by the pool. Friends and family love to come and visit, especially grandparents who are keen golfers, as there are so many different golf courses nearby such as Tara, Peridia and University Park, which are all open to the public. For keen golfers you'll be spoilt for choice!
St Armands and Lido Beach are approximately 25 minutes drive

Just spent two great weeks in Philippa’s superbly appointed villa, we have rented many villas in Florida over the years but this one was by far and away the best, very conveniently situated for shops and eateries. For those golfers amongst us the villa is set on the 5th fairway of the Rosedale golf course, the course is a delight to play, fair but challenging, we played it five times and enjoyed every round, would have liked to take course and weather home with us. Thank you Philippa for the use of your beautiful home, hope to return some time soon.

My husband and I have stayed in this gorgeous home for 3 winters. As Canadian snowbirds, it has suited us perfectly. It is beautifully furnished and is equipped with everything one would ever want. We would be spending every winter here except we now need a spot with a separate office. Very sad to leave this super home as the view over the golf course and lake is spectacular and listening to the waterfall flow into the pool is so relaxing. It is very close to grocery stores, shopping and lots of fabulous restaurants. The unlimited North American phone calls, wi-fi with printer, 4 tv's with dvd and cable are all bonuses. The owners have a good selection of maps and brochures about local attractions which is always a plus for people not familiar with the area. Anytime we've had a question, the owners have been wonderful in responding quickly. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a slice of paradise. It is very well maintained and I'm extremely picky, as my husband would attest to! We've been through several different rental properties and this is, by far, superior to most that are offered.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, people with disabilities, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Thanks for renting your fabulous villa to us. We had a great time playing lots of golf at Rosedale and Tara and dining at Main Street, Lakewood Ranch and St Armands Circle. There is so much to see and do we were spoilt for choice. We visited beaches at Anna Maria Island and Lido in Sarasota, had day trips to the wonderful Selby Gardens and Ringling Museum and a mad day at Adventure Island Water Park in Tampa!
