It is a quiet,clean,comfortable place to relax, whether you have a small child or several children. Price per night can be compared to hotel rates, maybe lower, but here you have privacy inside and out. Plenty of room to move around, room to cook your food, set your table,eat, then sit back and put your feet up. After you get the kids to bed-take some time for yourself.
If you'd really like to go on vacation for less money then you should consider renting with us this year. No process fee, etc. For those of you who are really into TV, cable offers the basic channels. There's also a large selection of family video's.
We now accept credit cards with a new means of payment, please ask, we are not that familiar with it but plan to replace PayPal. It is quick and easy

So if you are okay with not being right on the beach and staying for half or less than staying on the island then this place is perfect for you. Lots of remodeling was done, the air conditioning works great, the kitchen is an inviting area for cooking, and there's no noise to keep you awake.
Our beach rental house is in one of the quietest neighborhoods you will ever find- you'll feel at home the first time you pull into our yard. You can hear the waves when the tide is in. You can see the boats going by on the waterway just beyond the marsh as you stroll down our street. The yard is very spacious giving your children lots of room for running around.It is only a four minute drive to the ocean.
The living area is very roomy. Plenty of board games are provided,or just relax with a movie or a classic comedy from our large 100 title, DVD/videotape library.
The house is comfortable and very clean. The carpets are professionally cleaned every season. You'll enjoy the garden tub with shower.
If you are more into staying outside then you will be happy with the large yard and surrounding streets for walking. While walking you can enjoy the view of the marsh and the waterway. Boats go by all day long on the waterway. You can also hear the ocean when the tide is in.
One thing that makes staying in our neighborhood so pleasant is the quiet and inviting streets and wonderful neighbors. If you take a walk or a bike ride on our street, you're sure to get a friendly "Hello" from one of our neighbors. You'd have to search a long time to find a neater street! It is the perfect spot to go when you want to leave home and get away from it all. But the good thing is that you are surrounded by things to do here. You'll love Holden Beach for taking strolls, swimming, watching the waves, and fishing! There's also a public pool close by and a game room for the teenager. There's some shade in the backyard for playing a little softball or having a picnic.
The seating arrangement in the living room is very comfortable. There's a Lazy Boy recliner, a sofa bed, and a futon.
There are several places close by to get great local seafood, ice cream, hot dogs, and pizza. Or, you could just go load up on groceries and cook at home in our well-equipped kitchen. We know you will enjoy your stay!

It is open all night during summer months. You can buy delicious hamburgers as late as 10:00 during off season months and breakfast gives you a big variety-from ham biscuits to grits and eggs. On this side of the bridge you will find bumper boats, water slides, ice cream and a large game room.Wilmington is close by-it has loads of things for entertainment for all ages-like museums, the battleship, excellent restaurants,plantation house...Within half hour you can plan lots of daily outtings from Holden Beach, while staying where it is quiet and relaxing.

Caleb says hello! My husband and I are both educators. We have a five year old son, Caleb. We adopted him from China three years ago and he has been a great addition to our family. We also have five wonderful grand-children ranging from five to fourteen. We work from the home and stay very busy with Caleb, the rentals, and other responsibilities. We do not stock our rentals with anything but family videos and do not provide magazines due to their content/pictures. If you find anything contrary to that in one of our houses please make us aware of it. We do not want to do anything that would promote anything but Christian beliefs.Cable is there for your benefit, feel free to use it and enjoy!

Holden Beach gives you a chance to step back in time. If you prefer the hussle-bussle life then you might rather go on south another half-hour to Myrtle Beach. To go to Holden you see that you can still take your family on a good, clean trip and not spend loads of money. And the street is so quiet it makes it possible for you to think again. The Unique Benefits of this Mobile Home
A perfect time for us may be a lot different than what a lot of folks are looking for but I will tell you what Holden has to offer for us. When we go down we drop by the pier and have a bite to eat, then take a stroll either on the pier or down the strand. No matter what time of day or night it is always relaxing. Sometimes folks are even catching a fish or two. There are several places to play putt-putt and have an ice cream sundae. Our street is perfect for letting the kids ride bikes while you get in a little exercise, there's very little traffic. The waterway has a lot to offer, there's even a nice covered area there for fishing. But if this is not enough then take the children in to Shallotte, there's a new game center there, sits close to the movie theatre. And if that is still not enough then keep in mind that you are a close drive to Wilmington, NC and Myrtle Beach,SC. Both have lots to offer all ages. Calabash is even closer with great restaurants and Christmas shops.Our rentals leave you enough money to enjoy shopping while vacationing.
