Located 5 minutes walk from the beach, Villa Natalie is a 15,000 sq ft riverfront property. Each of the 2 bedroom suites has adjacent living areas that can be used for families with children along with separate dressing areas and twin bathrooms (one covered and one open to the stars). Separate day-beds, sofa beds and cots are all available upon request.
Our free form, infinity edge, pool has stunning views over the opposite private gardens and padi fields and steps at 30cm intervals - again great for the kids. An optional pool fence can be installed upon request for your peace of mind.
The living and dining areas can easily cater for parties up to 12 people and our staff are always on hand to cater for your needs when necessary (additional chef can be provided on request). All entertainment needs are taken care of with LCD TV, Astro satellite feed, broadband WIFI internet and a collection of almost 30,000 MP3's, Movies and Games - along with a growing library of holiday reads. Our two story watchtower also allows for sunset watching upstairs and riverside sun soaking downstairs with lush tropical gardens enclosing all the areas of the villa.
We have an additional lumbung room that has a double bed in for extra guests if needed. Also recently added to the property is an additional 5,000 sq ft of gardens with Bale and rice shelter on the other side of the river - overlooking the rice fields. Why the Owner Chose Canggu
Bali, and particularly our village of Pererenan, holds a special place for the Anderson family. Samantha and Dan were married 5 minutes walk up the road from Villa Natalie and we purchased this land in 2004. Designing and building our own Villa completed at the end of 2006 and we've been sharing our home from home with guests from all over the world since mid 2007. The warmth of the Balinese people, the special spirit they impart and the beauty of the surrounding countryside all combined under the stars to create our special place, Villa Nat.

I cannot recommend Villa Natalie, the friendly owner Dan and his lovely staff highly enough. The villa is beautiful, and has a fantastic sense of place and space. The location was perfect for us, out of the way of the hustle and bustle of touristy spots, walking distance down to a small cafe and surfing beach. Scootering distance to Echo Beach and anywhere else we fancied. Ketut the cook and head of the house has little English but still manages to to do all you ask and more. Leave her to cook for you most days - the food is lovely and very, very economical. 15000 rupiah for my family of 7 over 6 days, having most meals in house. Also try Cafe Ombak - excellent, excellent food (my favourite of the whole trip!), even though it doesn't look that promising from the outside! the reason we booked the villa was the amount of garden for our children to play around, and the gardens are just beautiful, interesting with lots of nooks and shady places to play and game or read a book. Just perfect.

It had been a fruitful trip in Bali. Despite staying only 2 nights at Villa Nat, it was really sad when the staffs like Ketut, Iiuh, Made and Gusti bid us goodbye. The villa is well maintained, the pool is clean. We would definitely recommend Villa Nat to our friends. Keep up the good work.

A perfect combination of luxury and homeliness, Villa Natalie is possibly the best place we have ever stayed. Ketut, the resident cook, looked after us so well, with such thoughtfulness for the kids and regularly cooking up a storm for the adults. The grounds were idyllic and we had Balinese massages in the gardens. The rooms were beautifully prepared and maintained, and the living areas restful and copious. You simply couldn't want for more.

We had a wonderful relaxing time at Villa Natalie. The Manager's parents designed a beautiful villa that exuded spaciousness, charm and tranquility. The staff were fantastic and catered to all of our needs. Gusti ensured all of our requirements were met with minimum of fuss (including retrieving lost baggage from Sanur and organising day trips to Gunung Batukaru), Ketuk prepared wonderful meals for the kids and parents (including a master class for my wife!), Made, Putu, Iluh were all helpful and friendly. It was so great to be able to walk to the beach for an early surf and come back to a wonderful breakfast. The kids loved the pool and gardens. Dan, the owner, was also very helpful with all initial arrangements and transfers. Have recommended it to family and friends.

When god created the paradise, he took for living, a piece of Villa Natalie, to relax it`s garden. To survive, he put Ketut into the kitchen to make paradise food. To serve it, he put Iluh and Madé on her side. And to keep the garden as a paradise, he put Nyoman into it. But to keep all things going, like he wishes, he set Gusti all over them to watch it. Now, after 2 weeks, we have to leave this paradise like Adam and Eve, but we come back. Thank you for all this. (From guestbook comment by guest).

Staying at Villa Natalie was how all holidays should be, relaxing in beautiful surrounds, in an amazing location and at a great value for money price. We stayed there at the end of our holiday for 3 nights after reading about it on a blog. The website is impressive but in person it is so much better. If I was designing a house in Bali I wouldnt change anything. The location is very private and tranquil, overlooking rice paddies and a river where we watched massive lizards swimming and sunbaking during the day, much to my wifes delight. The house is luxury itself, beautifully finished inside and out with all the comforts of home and the most amazing electronics system in the living area but also very quiet spots where you can read or have a nap, which we did often. The pool is out of a luxury house magazine, infinity edge overlooking the paddies and stream, the water was the perfect temp whether 10am in the morning or 10pm at night. The water was crystal clear and well maintained. The villa is staffed by a team of 8 and this is its true strength, wonderful Balinese people who you will never forget, they will do anything to make your stay the way you want it but without knowing they are there until you need something. The food from the private chef was outstanding and for 3 days, all meals were only $80Aus in total and we ate really really well. It really is paradise and I cant recomend it highly enough, as soon as we got home we started planning our next trip which will be based around at least a week at Villa Natalie, 3 days was heaven, I can only imagine what a week would be like.

I have been several times to Villa Nat and every time I return I recommend it to friends with complete confidence that they will LOVE it too. All the obvious superlatives could be said and will no doubt be said about the standard of accommodation (as is clear from the excellent website),staff,food etc but I would like to mention a few particularly attractive points that sets it apart from the rest - it's location is NOT on the main drag but down a very quiet country lane, the grounds are on the banks of a lovely little river (quite safe!)and overlooking a beautiful paddy field. If that wasn't enough a delightful short walk past cow fields leads you down to the beach with laid back bars and a good restaurant/ live music (far enough away not to effect the peace and quiet!). Book with complete confidence -and that's coming from a very choosey customer who looks for high standards!

Surrounded by the beautiful gardens, we spent a great deal of our time in Bali just basking in total relaxation and beauty at Villa Natalie. Why leave the villa when you have everything at your fingertips: the most attentive and responsive staff, delicious food, serene setting, refreshing pool, comfy beds, and spa personnel who make house calls! (If you do want to do a day trip to Ubud or Nusa Dua for sights and shopping....it's all very possible and enjoyable with an arranged driver!) We had an absolutely amazing time enjoying Villa Natalie over CNY weekend; mom (grandma) from the U.S. visiting with us - 2 daughters ages 13 and 9, and my husband and I all thoroughly recommmend Villa Natalie...we did not want to leave...and hope to be able to go back!
