This property is a personal labor of love in our family. This unit has been completely remodeled over the last 3 years. This unit was built approximately 20 years ago when a penthouse was a penthouse. Today along the grand strand most all top level floors are just the same as all the floors below. But this unit is completely different. To our knowledge the Palms Resort is the only property in Myrtle Beach with two story penthouses. Also we know of no other property in down town Myrtle Beach with 4 bedrooms and 4 baths. This is truly a unique vacation opportunity.
You will find a full size kitchen to host your meals and entertain. The living room features a two story wall of glass overlooking the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. As you relax on one our over sized balconies you not only will enjoy the sights and sounds of the ocean but you will also have a one of kind view down the beach looking south. We have two ocean front bedrooms with ocean front balconies and the two rear bedrooms have large windows looking down the beach as well as a small private balcony.
The master suite is truly in keeping with the penthouse style. You will find a king size bed, large private balcony, mini bar with refrigerator, coffee maker, and his and her vanities. All fixtures and vanities are covered in beautiful granite and tile is throughout. Probably the best feature of the master bath is the separate shower and whirlpool bath overlooking the ocean. As you can view on our website’s guest log, this is probably the favorite location in the penthouse.
The kitchen is completely remodeled with natural wood cabinets covered with rare blue and silver granite. All appliances are stainless steel which includes side by side refrigerator with ice maker and in door water/ice dispenser. All cooking utensils are furnished. And as said before, is a natural for entertaining.
The furnishings throughout are in keeping with the tropical “Tommy Bahama” look. All walls are freshly repainted every winter and there is tile floor throughout. The exception is carpeted stairs between the first and second story for safety.

After booking the penthouse, my concern was whether or not the pictures gave a true depiction. The pictures were exactly like the actual penthouse. It was clean and spacious. You can't ask for better location either. It is RIGHT on the beach and in walking distance to restaurants and some shopping. Broadway at the Beach is basically up the street. Everything we needed was there for our use and if we needed to get it a Walmart was not too far away as well as Tanger Outlet. I recommend this Penthouse to anyone wanting to stay on the beach with a wonderful view and lots of space. If you want to just stay in the penthouse and relax - you can. Our stay included 3 couples and we were not stuck under each other. We could all go to our rooms to nap or watch TV. All the rooms had DVD players but we did not use them. While looking for a place to stay, the owner emailed me back promptly and kept me updated as needed. One thing I did appreciate is that I could email him if I needed but he did not contact me while on vacation. It was worry free! The only thing we needed were a few extra days.

One of the best vacations we have ever had. This penthouse is breathtaking, both inside and out. Location is perfect, on the ocean, walk to new boardwalk, shops, arcade, restaurants, and sky wheel. Minutes drive to major attractions and family entertainment venues. Everything we needed was there in the condo, beautifully decorated, super clean and tidy, comfortable furniture and bedding. Can not say enough about the wonderful owners, except to thank them sincerely for sharing their beautiful family home with us. Would recommend highly!

Our stay at PH2 was so great for many reasons. The view was spectacular. Great for dolphin watching, sunrises, moon over the ocean and it was great for my dad to sit on the many terrace patios for ocean gazing. We had 3 generations of family with us starting at 6 - 76. It was truly a dream getaway. The condo was professionally decorated with much attention to detail. We walked to many eateries and the new boardwalk was very close. What a great location for PH2 and we can't wait to return.

We just completed our vacation in Myrtle Beach. Our condo had the best views of the Atlantic and beaches we've ever enjoyed. There was a constant breeze on the balconies that we enjoyed. Occasional fireworks, both on the beach and from the sky (storm watching) drew screeches of delight from us all. We'll return in a heartbeat! The location was perfect. We were close to many restaurants, shops, boardwalk, miniature golf, etc. Thanks for a great base of operations.
