  This home was wonderful for our family reunion weekend. It accommodated 4 separate families very well (infant, toddlers and teens). The house is clean and well kept. The beds were very comfortable and the jet bathtub in master bath was great. The mountain view of Longs Peak from the deck is awesome. We enjoyed walking on the nearby trail going into Rocky Mountain National Park and seeing elk and deer in the neighborhood. Hope we can return!

  This cabin far exceeded our expectations in every way. It was perfect for our family of 7. It is located convenient to town and also to the National Park and the YMCA. It was spotless and had everything we needed for our week long stay. The owner was very helpful in recommending places to eat and things to do in Estes Park and RMNP. The kitchen had everything we needed to be able to cook meals and there are lots of informative books about the local area. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels available. We traveled light so it was nice to be able to use the washer and dryer for our clothes. We hope to return one day soon.

  We had a very nice stay at this lovely home. It met all our needs and is very close to everything in Estes Park. The kids loved playing in the river/stream just across the road and the deer in the yard was a special treat! We don't see deer that big here in Wisconsin! We were a large group and there was plenty of towels, sheets, etc to accomodate us. Beds were comfortable and the place was very clean. We especially appreciated having a washer and dryer. My only complaint would be lack of pans, pots, cookware. There was one very large skillet and nothing in between. Also, the propane tank on the gas grill was low and so we had to replace that....which we hope future guests would appreciate!

  Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing.

  Owner response: We try to keep as much as we can in kitchen for renters use and we have plates, bowls,cups and utensils for more than 12. Pots and pans have always been enough for our large family, but we will continue to add more supplies as the needs present themself.

  We stayed at the home and had a wonderful time. It was perfect for our 3 families. The home was clean and furnished very nicely. There was plenty of room for the 10 of us. If we were to rent another home in the Estes Park area we would not hesitate to rent it again.

  We had three couples and a 1 year old child. Plenty of room for all. Good proximity to town and Rocky Mt. National Park. Nice deck to view the stars, and they were plentiful. We would come back.

  4 siblings and their spouses gathered here to celebrate 60th birthday for a week in July. The house was perfect for us, with 4 bedrooms (2 with private baths). We enjoyed the family room as a meeting place and had some nice meals in the well-equipped kitchen. We had some nice hikes in Rocky Mountain National Park, one walking right from the house into the park. We also enjoyed wonderful meals at Dunraven Inn (walking distance), Rock Inn Mountain Tavern, Twin Owls, Mary's Lake Lodge, and Nicky's Steak House. We appreciate the effort the owners have made to make this a comfortable getaway.

  We found this home was perfect for our vacation with our extended family (our children & their families). There were 12 of us altogether including 2 babies. The house was very spacious. Every family was able to have their own room. The lower level room is a little more rustic than the rest of the house, but worked well for our son with the older children. It was a little chilly down there even in the summer, but thanks to a neighbor's little plug in heater they were comfortable. The grandkids loved the big tub in the master bedroom. The house was also well furnished it had everything we needed (except food). We had many meals around the large table and made lots of memories watching the kids all play in the living room. I hope that we are able to vacation here again.
