Mansfield this 8 bedroom, 4 bathroom home sleeps 21 has mountain views in 3 directions and is a 1/2 mile walk from Stowes' great waterfall, Bingham Falls. MT. Mansfield Farm has a great room, dining room and large well equiped kitchen with combined seating for 20 for meals. Dozens of classic VT antiques decorate the house and each bedroom has a unique name on the door like Maple Sugar Shack, Jackson Hole, Coyote Den, Green Mountain Bunkhouse, Sir Lancelot's Lair, Cape Cod, St.Mere Eglise(French) and each is beautifully decorated in that theme. There is a new 8 person indoor cedar sauna and a 6 person outdoor hottub with MT. views. This newer home is a horse ranch with Clydesdales, German Hanoverians and horse drawn carriages often in the field/barn. The property borders Stowes largest river and is directly across from the MT. Mansfield Cross Country Ski center providing miles of skiing, summer hiking, biking and jogging trails. Snowshoes and sleds are made available to winter guests as a courtesy. If you are looking for a authentic VT experience for a large group...this is it. The owner stays on the property in a caretaker apartment with separate entrance/exit for the care, feeding, watering and exercising of the horses.
