This lovely country home is located in a private beach community on beautiful Peconic Bay. The private bay beach is approximately 500 feet from the house. Whether you are looking for a summer get away or planning a fall holiday on the North Fork, this is the perfect home for your family vacation.
This year round home has both heat and central air conditioning. The master bedroom has a king bed and the two additional bedrooms each have a queen bed. The living room has a sleep sofa. There are ceiling fans in all bedrooms as well as the kitchen and porch.
The retro bath has a shower and separate tub. The outdoor shower, a summer treat, has hot water and is completely enclosed for privacy.
The large eat-in kitchen is equipped with all you will need to enjoy your vacation including a dishwasher, microwave, and small electric appliances such as a coffee pot and blender.
The living room has Cable TV and high-speed Internet. The enclosed porch has a lovely view of the spacious backyard and two, 100 year old maple trees for shade.
In addition, the house comes equipped with a washer and dryer, gas barbeque, all linen even beach towels, beach chairs, and umbrellas.
Location, location!
Jamesport is the perfect jumping off location for so many activities. We are located in the heart of the Long Island wine country. If you are an antique lover, you will enjoy perusing the many unique shops as you explore further out on the island.
Greenport, the historic whaling port, is about a half hours drive. Within 15 minutes of the house is the Tanger Outlet Mall, the Aquarium, Splish Splash, movie theaters, Long Island’s famous farm stands, good restaurants, and golf courses that are open to the public such as Indian Island and Cherry Creek.
Jamesport is just 90 minutes from Manhattan via car and conveniently located near Long Island Railroad stations. The Jitney bus from Manhattan has a drop off in Jamesport. The Orient Point/New London Ferry is 40 minutes east and the Port Jefferson/Bridgeport Ferry is 45 minutes west.
