Location: Christiansted, USVI - St. Croix, Caribbean (7 Minutes from Downtown Christiansted, 3 Minutes to Grocery)

This private ESTATE sits on top of a hill on 9 landscaped acres. Centrally located in the middle of the island, it has spectacular views of the ocean, Buck Island and St. Croix to the East, West and South. 7 minutes to downtown Christiansted, 3 minutes to grocery store, 10-20 minutes to great beaches in all directions.

A private gate and long drive open up to a tropical paradise. Fountains flank the columned grand entry. Stone stairs lead from the patio through a garden walk to an extra large private pool. A pool house with shaded sitting area, full bath and refrigerator allows for ultimate enjoyment of swimming and sunbathing.

St. Croix is a very friendly island with more than its fair share of excellent restaurants. There is great snorkeling, diving and day sails to Buck Island. Just relax poolside or take a nap in the hammock. Bring your ipod and connect to the sound system with individually controlled speakers throughout the house and patio.

Each bedroom has its own private bath and air conditioner. Two bedrooms have mosquito netting for bug free comfortable sleeping. The kitchen is fully equipped. Beach towels, shampoo, linens, some sunscreen and bug spray are provided as well as a hairdryer, curling irons and 2 iron and ironing boards.

This property is very safe and is suitable to bring your teenagers, but not suitable for small children. The owner and her trained, friendly german shepard live on the property in the guest cottage which is on the other side of the pool house from the main house, well out of hearing distance. Owner is available for questions, directions, suggestions, otherwise respectfully ensures your privacy.

  • This Hilltop Villa is an extraordinary place to stay. The villa is decorated with artwork and antique furniture throughout except for the den and kitchen. This is definately not a place for young children. You can reach any part of the island by car in 25 minutes or less. It is a beautiful, spacious,and comfortable home away from home. The kitchen is totally stocked with everything you need including lots of cook books. I spent most of my spare time emailing myself recipes! The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and fully stocked with shampoo,conditioners,expensive soaps and gels and towels, including beach towels. There was nothing for us to pack except our clothes! A washer and dryer with detergent and fabric softener are also provided. The views of both sides of the island are awesome. There are ceiling fans and air conditioners in all bedrooms but we never needed them and the pool is the largest and nicest one we looked at. This villa is very private and we felt totally safe and didn't lock the doors. The owner totally respects your privacy...and we rarely saw her. I really don't want to talk this up because I'm afraid that it will become too popular and we'll never be able to book it again, but I can't help it. This is the place to stay!!!
